Update: 3 Dec, 2019 @ 9:54pm

Playtesting a physical prototype has revealed that this game may have been a little too simple to be entertaining for longer than one round at a time. As such, I'm testing a major change: Action cards. These replace the one-action-per-turn mechanic. A new deck of 76 cards (16 Change Shape cards, 16 Change Weapon cards, 16 Change Target cards, 16 Attack cards, 8 Defend cards, and 4 Mass Attack cards) has been added. Each player draws three cards at the start of the game. On your turn, you now take as many actions as you wish by discarding the corresponding Action card. When you choose to end your turn, draw one new Action card.

This concept is in its infancy. I suspect I'll be tweaking card counts as I try it out and see how it works, particularly when it comes to the Mass Attack and Defend cards, which open up actions that haven't been possible until now. But I think this change will make this game a little bit more of a game of a strategy instead of purely a game of luck (although that's obviously still a big factor), and, hopefully, it will increase replayability, as well.

Let me know your thoughts if you decide to give this change a shot!

Update: 26 Jun, 2018 @ 11:56am

Rulebook updates. Clarified some of the wording, reorganized things a little bit, changed the color of each instance of "Shape cards" to a lighter blue that's a little more visible, and added in "Active players may not look through the discard pile at any time, nor take notes of any kind."

Dustin claims to be close to finishing scripting stuff, but he's getting distracted with designing another game of his own. Prod him if you're getting antsy :P

Update: 22 Jun, 2018 @ 12:43am

Bugfix: Purple player was missing snapping points for Target & Weapon cards. Also added text to show people where to look for the rules and the video, as I realized their new placement is completely outside of the default camera, making stopping the video a little tricky if you don't know where it's coming from.

Update: 21 Jun, 2018 @ 7:18pm

Moved the Hybrid Shape cards to sit just above the draw pile at the start of the game.

Note: Dustin of THUNK Games (Don't Let it Die, Loading...) has been brought on to help me with some scripting I couldn't wrap my head around. The next update should have a menu of some sort to automatically set the table for a new game based on the number of players and whether or not you're using Hybrid Shapes (unless I do some more tweaks before then).

Update: 21 Jun, 2018 @ 7:16pm

Bugfix: Shape deck was set for 2 players instead of the full 8 player deck.

Update: 21 Jun, 2018 @ 7:14pm

Tweaked the move in the previous update just a bit for better lighting/visiblity.

Update: 21 Jun, 2018 @ 7:07pm

Moved the How-to-Play Tablet and the Rules tiles off the table to float behind the green player's seat. Now they're not on the table taking up so much space, and they're significantly bigger, so when you do need to reference them, you can see them easier.
