Added basic lands.

Update: 2 Apr, 2017 @ 7:12pm

Fixed a bug where "Generate With Foils Replacing Their Rarity" didn't produce a foil when it was supposed to.

Another big update to the generator!

I added in the ability to choose how many slots a booster pack has. The black counter is used for how many Commons slots there are in a pack, the silver counter is for the Uncommon slots, and the gold counter is for the Rare slots.

This is important, since booster packs of different eras had a different amount of commons in a pack. Since Shards of Alara, a booster pack has 10 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare/mythic, 1 basic land, and 1 ad/token card. Before that, however, a pack had 11 commons, 3 uncommons, and 1 rare.

Foils and "Specials" use up a common slot in a booster pack.

Now of course, this also means (if you're not interested in maintaining accuracy in your booster packs), you can go crazy with the distribution of cards! If you want an all pauper draft, go ahead! Rare-a-palooza? Get in there! Whatever your idea of a good time is!

Whoops! Forgot to include the booster pack model with the upload!

Apart from moving to the bigger table, I've made other big changes to the booster pack generator. I added a new slot: Specials!

This slot is used for two different things:

  • It's used for cards that have at least one of them in every booster pack. This can be the Timeshifted cards from Time Spiral, or the double-faced cards from the Innistrad blocks.
  • It can also be used for the special Inventions or Expidition cards as well! To use them, put all the cards on the Foil Specials slot only. If you put any of them on the non-foil Specials slot, then there will be an Expidition in every pack.

Of course, double-faced cards present an annoying problem in tabletop simulator, since there is no support for card sleeves. What I reccomend for players trying to draft Innistrad is to make two decks of double faced cards: One deck that are one-sided proxies with the front face on them to put in your deck, and a copy of the actual double-faced card you drafted off to the side in a bag.

If you find a better solution for double-faced cards, let me know!

Two more fixes.

1) I just swapped an OR for an AND in two places, so now the "Generate With Foils Replacing Their Rarity" actually works instead of not producing the right amount of cards.

2) Added support for sets with no colourless commons period, like Conpsiracy!

Let me know if there are still any bugs to clean up.

A couple more additions and changes:

- Added in a fouth generation button, which allows you to make pack with no foil chance whatsoever.
- Re-labeled the generate buttons to make them less ambiguous as to what they do.
- Re-added the booster pack model for users to skin. Just right mouse click on it, click "Custom", then change the texture.

Just a really small update that changed the height of the buttons so that they're not hovering 80 kilometers above the table, and updated the workshop thumbnail.

I updated the booster pack generator this morning with two things:

1) I added another generate button to support sets released prior to Time Spiral. This makes foil cards replace the card slot of the same rarity as the generated foil.

2) Just ever so slightly tweaked the probability of getting a common colourless/artifact card in a pack in sets that do not have a lot of them (Such as the Magic 2010 core set, in which the only common colourless card in the whole set is Terramorphic Expance).

Let me know if there are any bugs to deal with!

Uploaded my Booster Pack Generator to the steam workshop! I hope it allows lovers of MTG to draft using Tabletop Simulator!
