I did something ill advised: I have found nearly every MTG card I could find on TTS, Divided them into bags based on rarity, and made an Omega Drafting Set. I am more than willing to share my work, but among other issues, it appears this has made the file much too large to upload to the Steam Cloud. I also would want to credit where I got the cards (and other assets) from, naturally.

If anyone can suggest a work around for my current issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just gonna say, as someone who just downloaded the mod. The instructions are not clear. It doesn't teach how to import a deck, or how to create one to be imported in the first place.

The sorting instructions are also kinda vague. Most importantly, until downloading and opening the mod, I didn't think I'd have to sort all the individual cards myself. DSK alone has 430 cards in it, that I would need to one by one sort into the correct piles.

If I'm mistaken about something here, please let me know.

This is still the best addon to create boosters. The only thing I'd wish is cards being stacked before falling, so I can put a container underneath and quickly generate and collect the generated booster.

This works great once you figure out what to do. The only changes I'd like to see would be the ability to enter a few URLs to booster pack images so you can make packs for specific sets and have the visual aid to keep them separate for chaos drafts.
Also, what is the "S" slot for? It's not in the notes in-game. Also, sometimes the generator makes a pack with only 13 cards when I tell it to make 14 and I don't know which slot it's not pulling from.

Very useful.

Having some issues though with cards not joining before hitting the bag when using C's, U's, R's and L's.

Also would like a way to generate a lot of decks quickly, or batch create, or auto create for a certain number of times / until turned off.

Last request would be to automate ignoring empty C's, as I'm not using this for MTG.

But again, very useful, good job.

Hey guys I made a MTG mod and inside you can find Draft Boosters Generators for all "Un-sets" and Mystery Booster: Convention Edition 2021. I will add more sets later on!

(It is already sorted and have accurate drop rates, you just have to pull out a Booster Pack from its Booster Box and it will generate a random Booster Pack)

How to solve this error? "Error in script (Global) function <createstandard>: Chunk_3:(152,4-48): attempt index a number value." When I go to generate a booster, this appears in red.

The "S" is for special, for example in Strixhaven, we have the lessons that replace 1 of the commons.
Btw, I think the foil chance is a little off. There should be 1 foil in every 3 packs.

You should make it so that the cards generate in the way that an actual pack would, and spawn them inside of one of the little booster pack containers. Also there is nothing saying what "S" is for and where you should put rare lands

When the boys get together and draft, we get duplicate rares. Is it possible to implement a better shuffling algorithm?

When we are drafting one of us will pick a card out of the stack and find that the card ends up being a completely different card than what we had picked. Here is our process:

Generate packs
Copy the packs as objects
Load a different table (the one that comes with the booster generator is too small)
Load the saved objects (packs)
Open the packs and pass them around as normal
At this point multiple people encounter the issue.
We have tried different tables with the same issue, any help would be greatly appreciated.

@dr.xisawesome It's still there. It's just not a physical notebook. After loading, if you check the top menu bar, one of the tabs says "Notebook". I didn't notice this until just now myself.

For Unhinged, I used to fudge it by shuffling the duplicates face down, putting the top one into the correct rarity pile, then generate a booster. The problem is that you have to reset everything and start again for additional packs. Not the best, but it'll do.

I'm told that we can't use this generator to make the most recent Un-Set work; because of the cards from that set that have different stats but the same name.

It's been awhile so I was wondering if this had been addressed or if you know of another way to draft that Un-Set?

Wildboyz, does shuffling your cube and using the "split" feature to make piles of 15 do what you want? (For a 360 card cube, split the pile by 6, then box drag those piles and further split them by 4 for 15 card piles).

Probably my favourite mod ever! Thank you for putting in so much effort so that I may have immersive booster packs complete with foil cards haha, really improves my tabletop experience.

Hey! Wonderful mod, i'm loving it! I've spent the last like... 6 hours trying to make m19 perfect.

I went through the effort of making a 'foil' card set as well as the main set, but when generating packs it appears I still get normal foils (from the normal cards) when clicking the "generate a basic pack" button. Do I want to use the "foils replace rarities" button and have the whole set on the fc slot? I was worried it was programmed somehow for older pack generating rules that would make my packs less than perfect.

Also, I'm assuming the odds for dual lands are based on the fact that there are 20 basic lands and 10 land-slot duel lands, and from my actual M19 packs 1:2 seems pretty accurate. Do you know anything about this?

A great little mod. Not sure how I got unsubscribed though. I went and tweaked yours, so that I can tell it to make 10 boosters, and it will make them, stick them inside a copy of the booster, then put those into a bag I stick into the white rectangle. Thanks a ton for this.

It appears to me like there is a bug. I figured that in order to generate a Dominaria or Innistrad type of booster (with a legendary or double-faced card slot respectively) I have to sort special slot cards by their rarity and place them as foils. Then I generate a booster with "Generate With Land Replaced by Foil". It's works great, but there is about 1/8 chance you'll get a booster with a land instead of "foil" card.

PS: very nice mod! But i really with steam workshop could support git-style forking :D

I'll look into it, but there's only so much I can crowbar in this pack generator to make it work with every special set variation out there. The Innistrad sets were already a headache to make work. :black:
I don't know much about unstable's card distribution in packs, but it sounds like you're better off generating a pack with less cards and adding in the contraptions manually.

So is there any chance this could work to make Unstable boosters? Each Unstable booster has 2 contraption cards but I'm not sure on the probabilities of their rarities. It seems like one is common but the other can be at least uncommon or rare even if there is another rare card in the booster pack.

To my knowledge, the first Conspiracy set had no common colourless/multicoloured cards, so just put them in their rarity slot.
As for the conspiracy cards themselves, I used the Land slot and just copy pasted greater quantities of the lower rarities to balance out the probability.
