diplomacy is broken with this mod, i had every non-barbarian faction be my puppet state.

is this suposed to break diplomacy? the ai does not accept ANY proposal, even if they love you ive had over 2000 positive relations with some factions, they dont want even a trade agreement

The only problem this mod has it is very easy take settlements Ai comes out by himself even when players have 3 elite armies waiting outside what makes taking cities very easy.

Mod is good very good only one negative thing about this mod which makes it very easy campaign when you take big city under sieged enemy has full one legion but I have 3-4 lets say he comes out of city what makes it easy to kill him but it would be better if AI will stay inside or at list don't come out if he see 3 armies and he doesn't have chance because it is much harder take city with walls and army in it then just destroying it with 3-4 armies especially when it is famous cities like Rome or Constantinople I also personally downloading mod like stronger walls and baricade and towers what makes it nightmare to take a city you may join this mods with this one if you want. But mod is very good! but taking cities from Ai is easy not difficult unfortunate

can you please make a version of this mod that increases recruitment slots and removes upkeep so the ai has armies everywhere? this mods ai is still too easy using player cheats

Also in main campaign I saw CAI built armies like these but the diffference that in main campaign they built usually an army of spearmen.

This mod has a great problem... the "higher penalties for tresspassing" also give a RIDICULOUS diplomacy bonus with ALL the factions that are in war (or have problems) with the faction you tresspass.... like 500 of positive relations only bythat. Breaks diplomacy

the main con for now is that AI seems to never accept trade offers with me and they break them often

so it looks like its still challenging after removing those bonuses. Glad to hear. I haven't checked on this mod since last year and now I'm testing some new changes in my mod. When I finish I'll definitely check on this one again.

thanks, for now it's going great and I am satisfied - I play as the WRE and the barbaric tribes started being very aggressive towards me and some major powers are coming to rise - the Sassanids finally came out of Persia and conquered Egypt (before they usually got destroyed by White Huns lol)

I will try to cut the cheats that AI gets from this mod, and, if the author wants, I can send him the file so he can upload a second version of his mod without the AI buffs. Don't worry, I won't publish the edited mod as mine.

and Im not babysitting anybody. Previous comment from Xeryx mentioned me and the way I mod, Your first comment was actually something I wanted to respond to because in my personal mod "Very Hard Campaign" I also gave Ai bonuses and have tried many ways at the beginning to avoid this and failed.

This is not my mod lol.... I am not getting paid. It looks more like you're getting paid because you act like Armoured's babysitter in this thread. I like the game challenging, but when the AI is intelligent, not because they are cheating. Giving the AI absurd amount of buffs is stupid and artificial way of rising the difficulty. This way it's just I could have a challenging game by recruiting peasants only, but what's the point?
If Creative Assembly and the modders can't make AI good without adding cheats for it, then it's their fault.

My argument is that; you have to give bonuses to AI on sertain aspects of the game because AI does not react to those aspects like player does! For example food. Take away food bonuses from AI and you think AI would build enough farms on the litlle territory it usually has? Have you tested it your self ?

Sorry for late response Xerys.First of all Nobody tought anything here and second of all you are behaving very like those other modders that made some mods and never really share knowledge with others who want to make the game better. I believe you are far more experienced than others but comment like this isn't very mature. I aproached you and asked if you could help me with some AI tables and you promised to write a guide how you for example made your mods....

@You better commit sudoku there is no way you can balance the game and make AI work without giving bonuses to AI. If you remove bonuses, the player faction would cover the whole map in just a few years.Attila TW has probably the highest number of features and different aspect added to the game of all tw games. However, the engine of the game is made for much simpler games. If you find a mod that removes the bonuses without removing challenge and realistic feeling of the game please inform me. That would be a revolution in tw modding for sure.

You forgot to mention that your mod alters some values that give bonuses for the AI... And it's incompatible with the "No cheats for the AI mod", so AI still cheats as fuck...
Just make a version of the mod which doesn't change the buffs given to AI but leave the way they "think", because the your mod is good, but I'm not going to play if the AI cheats.

Or you can make for sassanids more enemies at the start for example:Armenia,ERE,White Huns.This will make a game more various and interesting because all the time in every campaign I observe disbalance in Persia and middle east,Sassanids with their satrapies are always winners and they go even in europe))I think this is very unhistorical)

Armoured,your mod is perfect,only about few things I want to ask you.Can you change starting diplomacy in your mod for:Huns(to ally them with Sclaveni and Venedi in order to avoid fast destroing of slavs by other nomads) also to nerf sassanids because they are very strong,they destroy white huns very fast and later they destroy ERE and etc.To avoid this disbalance ally white huns with Savirs and Magyars.White Huns will better to start at war in the beginning with Afrigids and Parthia only,because Sassanids are very strong enemy for them in the beginning.

I am sorry, The reason why i say this is because if you raise priority to 10 (above does not matter) the AI will stopp all acitvity and only focus on this one high prioritized job. This gives very strange unbalanced effects in the campaign. For example you can have a 1000+ good realtions with a bully character nation, but zero change of trading...

DinoMight, you can not give values like 999 to percentual increase indexes. They are multipliers. So if you want a double priority you just fill in 2 instead of 1. If you want a 50% downchange you divide by 2 so 1 becomes 0.5.

Defeat 3 full Geats armies (22k with mods) with only half men, but in one turn only they've already 20 full units ready to battle, wtf ? I mean ok if AI is more agressive but if they're cheated, how could I conquer them ? After the battle they down from #4 to #24 and in 1 turn, back to their initial rank.. I'm playing with Francs so the travel is not long as that...

Doesn't sound like the mod is activated on your machine. Sounds like there are incompatabilities with Heraklios.

possible incompatability there, but thoreticly should work- but notice the arab forces never invade or attack byzantine, they avoid attacking egypt way at all. and the cities are empty, and they still avoid them
