I don't recommend using this mod atm. All ranged units have become extremely op, to the point that two units of levy slingers can obliterate a hellenic cav bodyguard unit in three volleys. Unless you enjoy your own units wilting under enemy fire as though they had the consistency of papier-mache, do not use this mod.

Unfortunately this mod is not compatible with the latest Dei 1.2.4, it makes all ranged units SUPER op.

Doesn't work with the latest DEI update. It changes all units hp to 20, while melee and ranged attack values are still 30 and 60. This leads to a lot of machine gun battles.

It doesnt seem to work with the newest update, I really love mods that tweak horse mass to make charges deadlier and more effective like Realistic Battles in Attila, pls update!

Your shock cav will punch trough more effectively than in standard dei but will get owned by the hoplite unit fairly quickly if you don't pull them out. This makes the cav unit most effective when used for repeated charges instead of prolonged melee combat.

Basically it will be like your cavalry is charging into a rank of men instead of a gd dei hoplite brick wall.

Hello Minion-J, thanks for your response, your guess to deactivate "realistic unit heights" would also be mine as a logical choice. I tried, deactrive that one and activate your mod, but unfortunately no luck. Locked at the first center screen wit blue circle. I will try coming weekend with only DEI 1.2 (8 parts) and your "Deadly CAV mod". hopefully more luck then.

I have DEI 1.2 (8 parts) and some sub mods on, but RTW2 doesnot start at all when i activate this 'Deadly Cavelry for DEI 1.2' mod. I hoped it would work as in DEI 1.2 because the CAV is currently a bit underpowered, even against the back side of Ephirus Pikemen Phalanxs. With which other mod can this cause a stop at the early start? Submods active: Better client States and vasals (DEI 1.2.1), Classic Map w/ Wonders -DEI, Realistic ship colors, Realistic unit heights, Trade route x2,5 , The very best epic music pack1 (4parts). Any idea what may cause the problem?
