1 untit (if I remember correctly) is about 6 feet 2 inches... so 5,000 times 6.083 (1/12 = 0.08333...) equals (roughly) 3,415 feet

Okay, I'm a fanatic stealth/sniper/archer player too...
...But,... 5000 range??????????? Not even S.A.S. or S.E.A.L. teams' riffles, have this range!
DrinkEnemyBlood 11 Feb, 2016 @ 5:49pm
yeah it's not working for me either, i think it's actually worse now the arrows continue to fly straight through the enemy and it seems i need to be closer to them than usual
JumboJr 5 Mar, 2015 @ 6:20pm
Great.
Abe Lincoln 7 Sep, 2014 @ 11:50am
is there a crossbow that isn't a dawn guard
shinski 28 Jun, 2014 @ 5:22pm
First of all, the people with the Dawngaurd problems look at the very top of the mod description.
trustedinsanity 20 Jun, 2014 @ 7:44am
how do you get ride of that quest...i don't have dawn guard and don't plane to get it anytime soon but don't want a unfinished quest looming around
MibuTempest 11 May, 2014 @ 9:55am
This mod is not working for me either. I just tried shooting the same targets on the dawnguard version and this. They dont work. Do you have a list of mods that they are not compatable with? I would like to hear back from you or other people.
Mechanical Poetry 20 Apr, 2014 @ 12:58am
I have the same prob. as Decker. I've played this game more than any game ever, and I always use the bow with whatever new character I've made. In short, this mod isn't working for me.
Mechanical Poetry 13 Apr, 2014 @ 7:18am
Will that quest go away if I go have a drink. I'm in AA
Waddled_Away 12 Mar, 2014 @ 5:20am
I FOUND THE ARROW(but not the shooter) :(
Forsythe 12 Jan, 2014 @ 4:23am
This doesn't seem to be working for me. I tested this out on some mammoths, since they're large and incredibly easy to see. The arrows simply weren't hitting them unless I got within the vanilla range. I'm not using any modded arrows or bows, either - just a standard Dwemer bow with some Ebony arrows. This mod is also last in the load order, if that matters.
Jakeroyw 6 Jan, 2014 @ 11:50pm
I have the mod called Enhanced arrow system (vanilla). Do you think it will conflict?
Ronin_735 28 Dec, 2013 @ 11:06am
@Helbringr do you think you could link the mod?
Helbringr 21 Dec, 2013 @ 3:26am
i have a mod that changes the speed/arc of each arrow (better arrows fire straighter/faster) will this work with that mod? also i have a mod that adds a new arrow/bow im guessing they wont be affected by this mod?
the ghost of Tyler Durden 27 Nov, 2013 @ 6:25pm
i fixed it i undscride and now skyrim will log out if i come to close to the Dawnguard areas
the ghost of Tyler Durden 27 Nov, 2013 @ 6:18pm

vivivision 10 Nov, 2013 @ 8:55pm
I know you where having trouble with babis about mod weapons, but i do have a bow (and its the only bow i use) titled "rainbow". The mod is titled "New weapon artifact: Rainbow" and its better than daedric. Could you make a mod that does this for that?if so, reply. if not, just let me know. p.s this weapon doesn't require any dlc's so it wouldn't be as hard right?
Timesplitter 3 Nov, 2013 @ 6:01pm

Pyro 30 Oct, 2013 @ 3:02pm
maby I would be able to see the shooter, if it wasn't blury as hell
AlphaGodith 28 Sep, 2013 @ 5:44pm
would it be possible for you to make a mod like this for destruction spells? having a hard time hitting hawks and i think that would help.
Donkey Teeth  [author] 20 Aug, 2013 @ 10:47am
@ Babis, I could, but it would be a whole different mod, I would need to go download the basic cross bow collection mod, then mod *it*, so it would be a pretty complicated process, and it would crash the game unless you had just the right mods (I'm assuming dawnguard, plus your crossbow mod) so, it's more trouble than it's worth. Sorry, but I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon.
Babis 20 Aug, 2013 @ 2:01am
lol i did read the discription but after i made the comment. I'm really lazy sorry. Anyway i don't suppose you could make it work for basic crossbows collection could you?
Donkey Teeth  [author] 19 Aug, 2013 @ 2:49pm
@ Babis , there is a seperate mod for dawnguard, the link to it is in the description of this mod, thanks for reading. It will not affect any weapons added by other mods, which, again, was explained in the description, so thanks for reading really closely.
Babis 19 Aug, 2013 @ 10:57am
Oh so this doesn't work for Dawnguard? Like crossbows? There is a seperate version for those? Also does this work for added bows/crossbows? Like the crossbows collection mod?
NorwegiaN 22 Jul, 2013 @ 6:04am
This must be one of the best mods out there xD im so tired of shooting an arrow then move 2 meters then shoot another and move again until i get into the effective range
Donkey Teeth  [author] 8 Jul, 2013 @ 9:04pm
@Charr Guardian, I have not solved that problem yet, any information you have about that would be greatly appreciated.
Rragar 28 Jun, 2013 @ 2:15am
To Donkey Teeth: I read in one of your previous posts that you were having trouble loading multiple master files. Have you been able to fix this yet? I experienced the same problem and I can point you to the solution.
Rragar 13 Jun, 2013 @ 12:39am
Thanks for creating this! I was really disappointed when vanilla bow range was nerfed (being a stealth archer myself, as well). Time to use bows as they were meant to be used. Thanks again!
Mori The Vampire Lord 31 May, 2013 @ 7:47pm
any known conflict with archers arsnonal steam mod?
Donkey Teeth  [author] 3 May, 2013 @ 1:38pm
@sk8r dan man

The arc has not been changed at all, look at the FAQ, the arc has not changed whatsoever.

The arrows might or might not come back down. I never had a problem with them disappearing into the clouds even before I made this mod, so you've probably got other problems.
sk8r_dan_man 3 May, 2013 @ 5:29am
Wait... So does the arc stretch to reach the new distance, or do you have to aim higher to hit the further away targets? I'm not quite sure how this works. Sometimes arrows seem to behave unexpectedly.

Also, does this make it so I can now shoot arrows straight up in the air at full draw, and have them come back down rather than vanishing into the clouds?
Fantredath 1 May, 2013 @ 7:23pm
I've lost THOUSANDS of Deadric Arrows due to the stupid Range being set so low. I even once filled a Deer so full of arrows that it looked like a pin cushion, but did'nt die. I then sprinted up to it and killed it with Frost Breath. When i looted it, NO ARROWS!! Thank you SOOO much!
NoahB98 25 Apr, 2013 @ 8:44am
awsome I hate having to get close to shoot smeone with a bow
NakedSuperNinja 17 Apr, 2013 @ 9:54am
NICE!!! I love it as i hate shooting through giants all the time xP
Corypheus 26 Mar, 2013 @ 11:30am
i can see the shooter he/she is just a bit blured
Rokkhan 20 Mar, 2013 @ 12:08pm
nice
Coba1t 16 Mar, 2013 @ 11:32pm
@dbakes Oh cool! If you can change it by adding a value on the Skyrim.ini file or something, please tell me the line. Like adding the:

[Actor]
fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=12288.0000

for hitting on long range. Thank you again! :D
Donkey Teeth  [author] 16 Mar, 2013 @ 11:12pm
@Vexil Aloe, Yes. Theoretically there is. But it would require me to be *VERY* good with the papyrus scripting language. And I really suck at scripting. I'm working on it, trying to learn and whatever, but it takes a really long time. TES VI will probably be out before I'm capable of fixing that problem.
Coba1t 16 Mar, 2013 @ 4:23pm
Is there a way to make the kill cam work at long range?
Ω 10 Mar, 2013 @ 5:39am
I always hated that. I'd try to shoot someone off a wall and it would pass through them, but hit the wall behind them and make them alert.
[TGA] Templar980 22 Feb, 2013 @ 4:29pm
Thanks. I will try that.
AlphaGodith 20 Feb, 2013 @ 8:36am
great! I like to hunt elk in my spare time and I was having this problem.
44R0N 19 Feb, 2013 @ 4:38pm
SERVED!
Donkey Teeth  [author] 18 Feb, 2013 @ 6:46pm
Your, not you're. Sorry
Donkey Teeth  [author] 18 Feb, 2013 @ 6:45pm
@Templar980

The reason you can't see them has nothing to do with the mod. It's you're graphics settings, specifically "Actor Fade" which determines how far away from the camera an actor has to be before it renders. You could increase "actor fade" to solve this problem, but it will probably incur an FPS drop.
[TGA] Templar980 18 Feb, 2013 @ 5:47pm
The only problem I see as that when I try to shoot someone from far away they usually wlk out of my range of vision so I can't shoot them. I don't know if I did something wrong or if the mod is just not working.
Billy Shears 15 Feb, 2013 @ 1:55pm
Thank you! This has pissed me off to no end. I too usually play as a stealth archer and having arrows (that I know should be kill shots) miss because of the range is infuriating. This is now the most simple and best mod I've come across.
XamaX 13 Feb, 2013 @ 8:04pm
I would say this is realistic, bow drop will still apply, so your range with this mod is only limited by the arrows ability to travel, not distance. Which if anything, is more realistic (and less frustrating).
