Longer Range Vanilla Weapons

Description
Dawnguard version out now!

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=166150142

Can you see the shooter in the cover picture? No? He's in there, so is the arrow.

Please read the description before you make a comment critisizing something that (you think) this mod does or does not do. Thanks!

==Please Read==

This mod is super simple, it just fixes something that really bothered me about the game. I always play as a stealth archer. That means I ussually try to snipe enemies from far away. I don't know about you guys, but I will frequently go outside of the effective range of the bows in game. This mod fixes that. All the vanilla bows have had their range increased x2.5. (2000 to 5000) Making it really hard to get out of the weapons effective range.

It applies to NPC's as well, so they can shoot at you from farther away.

Kill cams should NOT work past 2000 (meters? units of length.) 2000 is the Vanilla Default.

This mod is really only a benefit for you, it doesn't slow your game at all and is compatible with just about any mod out there. (Please let me know if you find conflicts.) It's a small file, so it won't take up much space.

Known conflicts:

Any mods that change the scripts for bows. (i.e. auto aim fixes) One way to have both is to make sure that they both function is to adjust the load order, I don't use auto aim mods, but I've had feed back telling me it's not always in conflict, so be sure to move the load order around!

(Possible Conflicts:) Any other mod that does the same thing.
Let me know if you guys find any other conflicts.

FAQ:

Q: Do all bows fire exactly the same way?
A: No. All the arcs are the same as in vanilla. So the better the bow, the less arc there is. i.e. A daedric bow shoots straiter than a hunting bow.

Q: Are my arrows going to fly in a strait line?
A: I did NOT adjust the arc of the arrow. You still need some skill as an archer.

1 untit (if I remember correctly) is about 6 feet 2 inches... so 5,000 times 6.083 (1/12 = 0.08333...) equals (roughly) 3,415 feet

Okay, I'm a fanatic stealth/sniper/archer player too...
...But,... 5000 range??????????? Not even S.A.S. or S.E.A.L. teams' riffles, have this range!

yeah it's not working for me either, i think it's actually worse now the arrows continue to fly straight through the enemy and it seems i need to be closer to them than usual

First of all, the people with the Dawngaurd problems look at the very top of the mod description.

how do you get ride of that quest...i don't have dawn guard and don't plane to get it anytime soon but don't want a unfinished quest looming around

This mod is not working for me either. I just tried shooting the same targets on the dawnguard version and this. They dont work. Do you have a list of mods that they are not compatable with? I would like to hear back from you or other people.

I have the same prob. as Decker. I've played this game more than any game ever, and I always use the bow with whatever new character I've made. In short, this mod isn't working for me.
