im not sure if this is possable but could somebody fix the chinese ai to actually attempt to capture relics, they literally dont even try to go for them , and chinese villager female sfx fix would be nice also

and if you got the time fix the chinese villagers sfx for the female villager, her wood chopping and hammer building sounds are off or just happen once in a while instead of every hit. and the arrow attack anni mation for both male and female villagers. would be appreciated

just a hopefull question but could somebody change the atlatean titans birth annimation to the titans expansion one, it looked way better and would make it so the chinese titan doesnt share the same birth annimation as it

could somebody look at fixing the female chinese villager, most of her resourse carry animations are bugged, along with their towers skin texture being hd when attacking and lesser quality when idle

could you fix the wierd visual bug with the sitting tigers wheels during movement, they seem to grow and shrink in size until they stop moving.

Keeping both mods active with rechargable on a higher priority should result in what your looking for.

i do realize it would completely change the balance of the game,
i'm more of a casual player, not really competetive,
hence why i like this kind of mod.

I used to play this game a long time ago,
and my favorite mod was such an infinite god power mod,
which had (somewhat) good cooldowns,
so that indeed the building powers,
like fountain of youth, or plenty vault,
and other very strong god powers,
could only be used a few times,
depending on how long a game lasts.
(like f.e. a 30 minutes cooldown for fountain of youth)

Anyways, it was just a suggestion,
i would really love such a mod,
that is actually balanced,
unlike the mods i've found so far,
that completely imbalance the game,
or at least according to the comments.
I'll try one out, and if you want,
i could make a list of cooldowns,
that seem balanced enough, to not break the game. ;)

because mods that affect godpowers affect some of the same files as this mod, its generally not possible to have them work together.
though you could try keeping such a godpower mod a higher priority, so those files take priority over the balance mod's files.

giving godpowers infinite charges is creating a whole new balance consideration, which wont become a thing in competitive multiplayer. (which is what this mod is designed for)

I could just loosely throw some rechargable timers on the godpowers if you would like, based on my rough estimation on their strengths. Though im certain it wont be particulary balanced.
some stuff like having 10 healing springs, hesperides trees or plentys on the map will just feel like clutter,little space for other stuff like actual buildings.

Then again, it would be more of a casual mod, so i guess its not too bad.

First of all, thanks for this mod, it's really great. :D
So many people are complaining about bugs,
but this mod fixes that problem. I only just bought this game,
and i found this mod, like an hour after i bought the game,
so i honestly don't understand why everyone is complaining so much..
(besides the fact that some people just like to complain :P )

Anyways...
My question now is; is this mod compatible with other mods?
If so, which other mods would you recommend?
I see that you mentioned ekanta's UI and a tooltips mod,
but are there other good mods that you would recommend?

I'm looking for a mod that provides unlimited god powers,
with a cooldown of course, but most i have found,
also make the god powers stronger, which unbalances the game...
And not all of them work with the TotD DLC.
Do you know of any such mods,
that are decent, and compatible with this mod?
Or even better; would you consider making such a mod?

I'm not much of a visual artist myself so i would have no idea on how to make good pictures for it.
The core gameplay remains the game so theres not much to display which would stand out.

Just as a suggestion, you might want to capitalise the name of the mod and make the thumbnail more unique to make the mod appear more professional. It's clear you put a lot of time into this mod, so I wouldn't want people to overlook it.

I noticed that the mummy has no tracking when using its normal pierce attack. It cant hit any unit while they are moving. not sure if that was done on purpose because it has a great special attack. What do you guys think on giving the mummy some tracking for its normal pierce attack?

Is it possible to update the descriptions of gods, units, techs and powers that you are changing in the patch? For example the extra speed of siege and myth units for chronos. I know that this a lot of work, but it would be really helpful.

you can search for the ekanta ui with control groups, and theres a mod called advanced tooltips.

u can probably just search the workshop with those keywords to see if things exist that you are looking for :P

I'm interested in using this mod, but have never DLed anything for this game before. In AoE you could just subscribe to most things and it'd DL and install upon the next game launch. But for AoM, it sems the system has changed. So, how do I install/DL this mod?

Hi. I just purchased this game again recently after only playing as a child upon original release. Atlanteans were always my favourite to play (probably because they're easier and I'm not an RTS pro) but now that I'm an adult I look at balance and such. Been playing Gaia a lot because I like the underdog. I might give Hades a try too as the idea behind him seems similar. Anyway, what are the chances of something like this becoming official? Have changes like this became official before? Is there even a team dedicated to this game anymore? All I ever knew was that Microsoft made the awful decision to break up Ensemble Studios and foolishly abandon PC gaming in general or something (lol twitch exists now though) Just want to see an old game that I love get some love :)

Im not an expert on the subject but i believe its something skybox did to try and make the game less laggy.
essentially it reduces a textures quality if you are a certain view distance away from it. sadly it has no real effect on performance since u can usually run the game fine with very high quality models/textures.

i dont think its a bug, unless your talking about something else that im not noticing.

I dont really add a changelog per update, i just add/change what i changed to the existing changelog.

What i did was revert the change of levy/conscript from basepercent back to percent, it could in combination with imperial examination lead to ridiculous train times.

Btw, the "Domestication" tech of "Fu Xi" god costs 100 wood and 5 favor but it is mainly needed on the start of the game when players dont have any favor.. wouldnt be better to remove the favor cost and put 50 gold on it (like "Husbandry")? or at least make it 1 favor only (like "Pig Sticker" of thor) so as to be able to research it a bit faster?
