Sorry, But this mod isn't being update anymore, BUT with the resent news of the new update, I might consider making a new "version" of this mod, one that is more organized and less ... everywhere. Sorry to disapoint.

Hey Dev. I've Found a Bug with both your side mounted Suspendium Balloon Modules. :/ They seem to be Broken. I was talking to the main games Dev here. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/342560/discussions/0/358417008728773030/?ctp=14 About the Bugs I was getting. And I traced the ship related ones to your mod. So look at the most resent Posts we had about this bug list. And you'll get the idea. I've posted a link above to the Thread. So I don't have to repost all my findings here. it would be really nice. if you could take a look at those. and Give them an Over hall or fix. So they can Work like any other Module that Provides lift. I'm not sure what is wrong with them. In the editor of ships. They seem fine. But once you take them in to custom battle or Conquest battle. there are a Huge amount of Bugs that Happen. :/

@Admiral Ryan D @edwin.gibson, as Rebel said, there is no easy way to implement mortars, there is a mega cannon in the Mod now, and I can play with more but as of now there isn't any easy way to make shots curve. sorry.

@Admiral Ryan It's currently impossible to make mortars with the system in place. This has been requested before for the vanilla game, and Zark stated that it would basically cause the game to slow to a crawl, if not crash entirely, seeing as it constantly has to calculate a new position for the shot. (So no curved shots)

There is a Mod that already has Mortars.
And there are other mods haev Have Artilery/Radio Towers.

Both of them have the Origin of the Projectile Not come form the Barral. But insted Have it come from Way up above the Module. to the Point that it looks like the SHells are falling from the Sky. It's Great idea. for arcing fire. Though you don't see the shell go up from the gun. it's still a SMall price to pay for the ilision of a shell that goes up from your ship adn comes down on top of the enemy. :)

@ Dev. You should take a quick look at some of the Other Mods out there, for ideas on how to make certain Modules. o7 it could save you time in the Long run. I too would like to have some more Mortar Modules to choise from. :) Could you make a Mortar That is Dezined like the ones used on the Barge Ships from the USA Cival War.

you should add a weapon that fires up then comes down like an artilery gun. it should have like 3 varients ranging from small shots to large shots = moderate damage to half my ship is gone... damage. LOTS OF SPLASH DAMAGE. Name them Low cal. Arty. , Medium Cal. Arty. , and Large Cal. Arty.

How about some curved iron and wooden shapes and a gattling gun behind the iron railings? Also more retro si-fi tail fins and wings and small long side mounted suspedium balloons?

Release new update: As school ends and christmas and the new year begins, I will wait until Jan to continue the making of the mod, I am listening to your ideas and am implementing as many as I can, sorry for the long ass wait.

Could you add to this mod. the other angles of your current Modules?
Like the ones going Verdicaly. could you make a version of them that is on it's side? And for the ones that are Horazontal. Could you make a standing version of them. You don't have to make hole new sprites by hand. I'm just asking for the Option to rotate them as I like. for my ship. if that's alright?

it might be a bit hard to implement, but a catapult-style weapon would be fun. Another idea is a weapon that fires buring coal, which starts fires but uses up a lot coal.

@Rebellious It will add Broadside cannon cosmetics, 1 possibly 2 Cosmetic nose spikes, Several new Suspendium balloons, Some new decks, Battlements and 2 weapons.

I'll into more details later when I update the mod on steam.

@Crossley i would stick to doing 1/2/3 and perhaps 4 square long spikes. I think it would look best if all four sizes were just 1 square wide (thick). They should be thin enough to impail an evil galactic despot right through the abdomen (Flash Gordon end scene).

@Cr0ssley Cool. I was thinking about designing a ship based on war rocket Ajax out of that old Flash Gordon movie (it didnt come out right). I think if you check out old sci-fi movies you should get some good ideas on what to include. This is the best airships mod so far.

@Sensation TKO All that should be possible, the shaped balloons where already comming as were the metal shapes too.

In terms of the cannon, the way the default game does it means no blocks AT ALL, can be be placed infront of where it is firing (I think), I will have a play around with it though.

@Cr0ssley A single ladder without decking or corridor around it. Perhaps with single ladder with railing as well. For when you want your crew to have to climb up high 400 feet above ground level witout protection around them XD

And perhaps metal shaping like you have done with wooden shapes. And shaped balloons. Like one part is the front. Then the middle bit. Then the tail end of the balloon. So you can make the balloon as long as you like. Like a real zeppelin-shaped balloon instead of just a rectangle.

I think there is allready a mod that allows cannons to be placed witout restrictions but idk if that means you can place things in front of it. I havent tried it yet. But there needs to be more shaping mods like this one.

Using this one mod has made all my other designs ugly by comparison!
