After typing in snd_rebuildaudiocahe, the game attempts a loading screen and crashes.

While I appreciate the effort, to go through such a long process without having any videos just doesn't seem that worth it to me.

My bro will fix :)

Solution: After the snd_rebuildaudiocache, make sure it loads all the way from that "joining a match" thing, thing use the "exit" command. Then start a game up, and Master Chief's in game voice won't be deep. Because just exiting out of the game without letting it load all the way and not letting it respond will make him end up having the deep voice instead of normal pitch.

I'm having almost the same problem as MasterLink2117. The voice in game is definitely too deep.

Other authors have found a way to make character voice packs without this long process. No offence, but that alone is enough to make me pass completely.

you should make this for one of the l4d1 survivors
MasterLink2117 7 May, 2020 @ 1:35am
I did everything you said to but he just sounded deep and distorted and I honestly thought it was a boomer at that point. So what do I do? Also, The command says "unknown command"

i think it's at 60fps and the normal L4D2 audio output is 30 fps. Thus, making it slower.
smartgenius25 29 Sep, 2019 @ 1:43pm
also why is it slow-mo?

Warden  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:51pm
@Mad Jewledbutton No problem.
Jeweledbutton 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:50pm
Thank you!
Warden  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:50pm
@Mad Jeweledbutton You have to delete the mod files from the "Gambler" voice file and drag and drop Nick's original voice files from the backup folder you made inside of the "Gambler" voice file.

If i want to make nick's voice to come back do i have to do the same process and disable the addon or do i do something else?
Mundfish 12 Aug, 2017 @ 12:08pm
Woah, that was quick! Thanks for that.
Warden  [author] 12 Aug, 2017 @ 9:08am

Mundfish 12 Aug, 2017 @ 1:03am
Will you ever do Coach version?
Admiral_Vadam 11 Aug, 2017 @ 9:14pm
Alright.
You should add that in the description for newcomers trying to install the mod and having no idea how to do it.
Warden  [author] 11 Aug, 2017 @ 8:41pm
@Admiral_Vadam yes, you'll have to put the files into Nick's voice folder.
Admiral_Vadam 11 Aug, 2017 @ 8:26pm
Question, this does work by just subscribing the mod. Or like other voice mods one have to replace the files in the game ?
