Really fun class!
Bobibob 23 Jan @ 1:54am
hi, i make a translation for your mod
SASUKEEEEEEEEEEEE! 11 Mar, 2024 @ 7:32pm
Love this class, just can't bring myself to redownload this time around since I find it a bit too strong compared to other healers. Still cheers!
Enlonwhite 2 Apr, 2023 @ 5:47pm
The hot heal is very good yes, but no your not unkillable, I have abused it at times on Non-boss fights and a few other ones yes. (tho stress gains were getting scary on those).
I assure you that you will not win all fight by just spamming that tho.
(Plus i have a mod that makes alot of fights harder.)
NordicHorde 20 Nov, 2022 @ 11:21am
Healing mist is borderline OP. Putting multi turn heal over time on the entire party means your heroes are near unkillable.
infinity_flair 19 Sep, 2022 @ 1:41pm
I've come to love this class. Very balanced skill set; camp skills are awesome - even if i don't use Loud Complaining, the fact that it exists makes me laugh each time i see it. My only wish is that it had a Crimson Court set; other than that it's great. Thanks for the work!
Tweed 20 Nov, 2021 @ 2:46am
Any chance of getting a Sunward trinket?
Xilr 8 Aug, 2021 @ 7:32am
Man I wish someone would make a palette mod or some (non-trolly) skins for this. I love this class and on a long game I have more than two of these in my roster
🩸 Нюк 🩸 25 Jun, 2021 @ 12:29pm
очень сладкий хилл =)
TSense 2 Apr, 2021 @ 4:38pm
50 weeks in and still haven't seen a single druid. Got some items for the druid however.
wallace8766 6 Mar, 2021 @ 3:55pm
Thank you for posting that fix for the blue string on healing mist. Appreciate that True Guesser.
True Guesser, Wand Bearer, etc. 5 Jan, 2021 @ 6:22pm
Just posted a fix for the blue string on healing mist in the main discussion thread.
Fluffy_Fractalshard 24 Nov, 2020 @ 10:44am
for the sake of keeping my roster perfectly balanced between male and female heroes, im gonna count this one as a guy with just manboobs.
coeurdelion 29 Aug, 2020 @ 12:59pm
I really like her as a support class, and I love the idea of her having been a resident of the Weald who's fighting to cleanse it. And it's kind of nice to see a grumpy old lady as a hero-- I wanna have a party with the Druid, Itinerant Cook, and Butcher Bird. Maybe throw in the Man-At-Arms to round out the savage senior citizens team.
General Spudmuffin 13 Jun, 2020 @ 8:51pm
anyone notice that the Healing mist tooltip text is broken? I noticed it in a quip during battle a few times as well.
Enlonwhite 12 Feb, 2020 @ 11:29am
I love the feel of this class, it can be an ok damage dealer, but it excels at being a ramping healer (aka more prevenative/time cost effective healer)
it isnt too strong, and it isnt weak, i has that nice feel of being just right.
though when you do need a strong heal it does have a hard time filling that without spamming the heals and hope they dont keep focusing the same target.
Wrenny 31 Dec, 2019 @ 1:31pm
Druid is a pretty good support class.
Ghilminion 13 Nov, 2019 @ 3:50pm
just one other question, do you plan to make CoM and Courtyard trinkets? because, only those trinkets and a district separates the Druid from "perfect" :)
btw, i have to praise you, you made the character which i missed from the game
Daoron  [author] 13 Nov, 2019 @ 7:20am
Nope, The druid doesn't belong to any districts. the class was made before the districts were added to the game, though I should probally add the the class to the outsiders bonfire.
Ghilminion 13 Nov, 2019 @ 6:24am
hello....just a quick question, druid belongs to any of the districts? at my game, the druid doesn´t appeared at any districts (while other mod-characters appeared)
KafScin 8 Sep, 2019 @ 1:30pm
I seem to have a bug with the druid mod. When i use his skill 'Tremors' the enemy start jumping around later in the turn, but there is tag on them indicating this should happen. From what i understand it is a normal shuffle ability, yet the shuffle seems delaid...
i like the idea of the druid, and it have a certain synergi with tha acolyte, but the artwork just isn't up to DD standart and the borrowing of skill icons from other classes just irks me..

If this gets sorted out i will start using it again, but until then. properly not.

Great start though.
Maay 31 Jul, 2019 @ 12:57pm
I have played DD over and over again, trying different mods in various combinations and Druid is the only one mod I had all the time in any playthrough.

It's perfectlly balanced and should be a part of the main game.
The art is beautiful and has the same style as original heroes.

Many thanks for this mod, you are the best.
trollwuzu 27 Jun, 2019 @ 7:40pm
Druid should definitely make use of Herbs of the Wild a lot! I think some of his abilities or camping skills should craft items or find herbs.
Twiss 27 May, 2019 @ 10:18pm
this is a really cool class are CoM trinkets coming?
True Guesser, Wand Bearer, etc. 21 Feb, 2019 @ 1:18pm
Edit: Got it figured out. I should mention I am loving this class. 'Loud Complaining' is officially my favorite camping skill, lol.
True Guesser, Wand Bearer, etc. 17 Feb, 2019 @ 11:42am
Has anyone tried using this with Pitch Black Dungeon? My last estate had some conflicts with healing skills, and I believe it's an issue with one of the classes I am using.
Daoron  [author] 4 Feb, 2019 @ 3:37pm
@Enlonwhite, Thanks for all the feedback, long well thought out posts like these are allways helpfull so don't worry about offending me or something, the fact you cared ebough to type all that is enough of a complement =)

The reason the mark only lasts 1 round is mainly a flavor thing, it was never really intended as something you can use without getting lucky.
the logic behind it was that while the enemy is getting entangled by the plants they wouldn't be able to properly defend themselves.
in hindsight it is pretty janky and changing the ability to either remove the mark or make the mark last longer is probally a good idea.

the speed debuff lasts the same amount of time as any debuff btw.
Enlonwhite 4 Feb, 2019 @ 11:13am
Your DragonSlayer class tho is nicely balanced on style of play, either as a ranged back-line or a front-line bruiser. I have tested some numbers and its nicely aligned to what roles it plays, with some fair trinket support.
Dont get me wrong I enjoy the druid as a Healer class, its a very well thought out Healer.
Enlonwhite 4 Feb, 2019 @ 11:08am
I should of posted that in the balance section sorry.
Enlonwhite 4 Feb, 2019 @ 11:00am
-speed on enemies for ONE round is only powerful if you hit an enemy that has ALREADY used its actions for the entire round, as the Speed roll is done at the START of the New Round. otherwise the debuff does nothing, just like a mark if they go right after you marked/debuffed them.
Do not remember if your speed debuff was 1 or 2 rounds, usually that was not the reason behind using the stun, just stopped using it for marking as it wasnt reliable for that. and stunning was better done on classes with trinkets to boost stuns for them, druid does not have that support.
Enlonwhite 4 Feb, 2019 @ 10:58am
if anything a debuff of them having reduced damage, or acc for 2 rounds would be more of a sweet chance benefit then a mark, or even a reduced chance to do a critical on your party for 2 turns.

This would still rely on a little luck, but its luck pushed a tiny bit in your favor. The mark just seems out of place in this class for the ONE action it stays on.

As a general rule of thumb from my study of classes and abilities, Buffs should last 2-3 rounds, Debuffs should last a Minimum of 2 rounds (or boss actions, but for bosses 3 rounds is prefered)
Anything that lasts only 1 round should either be powerful, or are a waste.
stuns are powerful, bleeds and blights are weak if they last only 2 unless they are big amounts.
Enlonwhite 4 Feb, 2019 @ 10:52am
Now with the -speed to the target debuff on that Entangle stun does make hitting a target that has already acted more tempting which in turn does make the attack more tempting, assuming they dont get a high speed roll. however, usually you DONT want to attack a stunned target in a round where they are stunned and have not acted yet you want to kill the ones that are either a High priority target, or have yet to act and you can kill them to prevent said action.

so the mark is more a oh look you might be able to use this but your not doing the better action economy tactics, as a stunned target is less a threat or priority. (if you dont stun it then your purpose of the move was a miss/failure anyways, marking for 1 action usually wont help either).
Enlonwhite 4 Feb, 2019 @ 10:50am
I dont use the stun because the mark is not viable, as the stun is not much more viable then other class stuns (I believe it hits up to any of the first 3 ranks, which is a wide choice selection).

but the perk of a mark isnt really helping usless you get the druid in a lucky speed ROLL and the enemy you marked in a Lucky LOW speed roll.

If anything have the mark last ONE turn more, so that way at least one round of it being there is available normally. otherwise its just better to heal (usually the AOE one) or attempt to stress heal with cure (even if you dont need the cure part)

Daoron  [author] 4 Feb, 2019 @ 1:36am
The mark was originally meant as a small perk to make the stun ablity more intresting, I'll think about changing it but I'm not sure about making it last longer, stunning is already a powerfull ability and adding a reliable mark to it might make it overpowered.
NeVeRLiFt 3 Feb, 2019 @ 11:13pm
You should be able to go in and edit the duration Enionwhite pretty easy if you want it to last longer.
I know I will be doing this if the buff is not lasting long enough to prove useful.
:yawp:
NeVeRLiFt 3 Feb, 2019 @ 11:12pm
thanks for the hero mod... I'm just now getting around to playing with hero mods in my game so the polished the mods the better and this one seems nice and I look forward to the trinket mod coming for it
:stress:
Enlonwhite 3 Feb, 2019 @ 10:12pm
I like this class for the Healing, as I have found ways to setup HOT heals to help prevent some burst from overwhelming me, but still bring a hero with a backup heal ability just in case, which has been helpful.

I agree the Druid should NOT be a Stress healer, and the fact that you can with the cure spell as an aoe, is a nice bonus. Cant complain its fair.

Only thing I would like see changed is the MARK Duration increased, its too short as it is not to really utilitize effectively.
(especially as the druid is so slow compared to most damage dealers that use marking.)
Marks usually drop off before they can be used by the party.
(its too weak to use for marking teams efficently, unless the mark lasted another 1-2 rounds, 2 prefered.)
Oli 30 Jan, 2019 @ 5:01am
How do I get her? 10 weeks now and she hasn't shown up.
Shroomz 22 Jan, 2019 @ 10:14pm
ya i dont like the 85% chance.. went from my main healer to a backup :( use the Seer Mod more now sadly.. I love my Healers and this is still the best heal mod but for no light the seer wins :(
Warplord 13 Jan, 2019 @ 4:01pm
I like the speed change, hp change and the thorn change. Not sure how I feel about the stress heal not being guaranteed but I guess it is ok. 85% is not that bad, maybe 90% at max rank? Just my thoughts.
Daoron  [author] 13 Jan, 2019 @ 3:20pm
Big balancing patch just went live, patch notes are in the change notes page, I can't post them here because it's too long, please go check them out and let me know what you think.

for those who are still wondering, I've started working on the trinkets, i expect them to be finished sometime next week.
Warplord 13 Jan, 2019 @ 8:43am
Any ideas for Com/CC and regualr trinkets so far?
Shroomz 9 Jan, 2019 @ 2:43am

YOUR FAMOUS GAY DAD 30 Dec, 2018 @ 1:03pm
I've just finished a custom-class only run with the Druid installed, and I think she's great. By combining lements of vestal, jester, plague doctor, and some useful offensive skills all her own, the Druid boasts a useful, but not overpowered skillset. (I.e., trading Vestal high heals for heals over time, etc). By being a grouchy old lady, she bucks the trend otherwise commonly seen in DD of vestal virgins, cursed lamias, and the like, and her skills compliment that. This shines through the most in her camping -- forcing everyone to eat the soup she makes even though they probably already ate, grumbling about how heavy her backpack is... The Druid makes for a great, balanced addition to any party. I highly recommend her.
BoxingBud 8 Dec, 2018 @ 4:01pm
I'm really enjoying the class! I think we need to clean up her thorn stab graphic a bit and her head looks a bit too forward in her fighting stance but otherwise great!
True Guesser, Wand Bearer, etc. 7 Oct, 2018 @ 5:11pm
Can anyone confirm is Druid works in Pitch Black Dungeon? I don't know why it wouldn't, and I'm aware you can have a bad streak of Hero recruits, but I still feel like I should have gotten one by now.
Leto 5 Oct, 2018 @ 10:44pm
cool mod, i find her very useful so far.. does she have any personal trinkets? havent found any so far
True Guesser, Wand Bearer, etc. 25 Sep, 2018 @ 5:07pm
I like the look of this; a female class that is more 'old hermit' than 'sexy young warrior'. Will be testing this out for sure.
Gallyx 18 Jul, 2018 @ 7:53am
Do you plan on adding some trinkets? Would be cool because right now there's not much you could put on her. Neverthless, she's one of my favourite healers, keep up the good work.
