Is it still functional or being worked on???
There is nothing in the DLC even similar to what this mod, or its successor, does
no just subscribe the very first link for "Vanilla Genetic Expanded"
and - why cant i write "@" in a steamcomment? (had to copy it from ParasiticSquid)
Does that mean you *have* to subscribe to Patreon now?
Well played.
Now I stick almost exclusively to triceraffalos since they give wool, milk, and are decent at combat. Even more so with higher grade genoframes. Had to rebalance their breeding to fit more between muffalo and triceratops with rimmsqol, thats just my playstyle though. In other words they outdid ratfallos even with the plague addition in expanded. Sure the plague thing makes sense but.. at that point a paragon rodent is pretty pointless besides mecha rats since it's just a smaller less combat capable ratfallo.
Just my opinion on that
Mostly because in Genetic rim they were large and dangerous, and trainable to an extent, in genetic expanded they are...alot less useful.
As for dryads.... maybe
Alpha Animals is huge, and it would be insane to try to fully integrate it into VGE. My question is, just how sane are you? IE, how far, if at all, do you intend to make the mod compatible?
Second, besides (hopefully) taking a much deserved breather after working so hard on the mod, besides probably pushing out important hotfixes and balance changes, where do you think you will be investing your efforts into next?
... xD
Jokes aside, I may try to take advantage of the less traffic, as long as you don't mind...
First off, thank you so much for all the hard work you do. I decided to skim through the past few months of comments here, and I had no idea how much effort went into simply setting up the code for a hybrid family, much less all the work that would have had to gone into making this mod. I never got a chance to play it when it originally was up. I was being stubborn, and wanted Rimworld to go on a major sale, as I had no idea if I'd enjoy the game, and I didn't want to shell out $40 for an indie game... One of the biggest mistakes of my gaming life xD By the time I finally jumped in, both DLCs had already been released, or at the very least, I MIGHT have gotten in just before Ideology released
and the tale of the "600 milion $ thrumbo :)
