@MiamiHurricane
Already up. Check out the link the author posted.

b18??????????
Cabbellard 21 Nov, 2017 @ 4:17pm
A B18 update would be swell
Taggart 1 Nov, 2017 @ 10:15pm
Moon biome required!
Iamjediwill 30 Aug, 2017 @ 2:10pm
nice mod, but can you add a function where you can land on the moon? that would be cool.
AgentBlac  [author] 24 Aug, 2017 @ 10:50pm
@Dangerlurking well wouldya look at that! A justification! Thanks for letting us know :P
Dangerlurking 24 Aug, 2017 @ 7:25pm
Looks like gas dwarves are a real thing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_dwarf

@Thunderun Asteroids/an asteroid event is both doable and a good idea! Will strongly consider it :) The sun is actually part of the background texture I'm pretty sure. I'll need to look into that. If I'm right, that would mean that I'd have to alter the space textures to add another sun, which I'm definitely not artistically skilled enough to pull off. Still an interesting idea tho.
AgentBlac  [author] 23 Aug, 2017 @ 6:25pm
@morryatay yeh that's a recurring bug with how the moons are spawned. Was there in the Marsx Mod. I'm still looking into a fix for it.
morryatay 23 Aug, 2017 @ 5:07pm
hey bud, i'm getting an error when the moons can only be seen from 1 direction (between planet andd camera) also at only 1 specific angle between the two, trying to view the moon from a counter and doesn't work and it just goes invisible. and yes i had the moon selected before i changed the view. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/866235281707089570/76BD3DD0E76CE84DF443A32880269A876E8F5FA5/
evanperson223 23 Aug, 2017 @ 3:15pm
umm there already is a sun

Draqvaus 22 Aug, 2017 @ 1:46pm
And maybe some asteroids and event for meteor shower
Draqvaus 22 Aug, 2017 @ 1:46pm
I want to see a sun also!
Trugo 22 Aug, 2017 @ 5:16am
GENIUS!!!!
morryatay 20 Aug, 2017 @ 12:29am
@liosalpha, well the most near earth orbit satelittes make a full orbit in about 6 hours so there are actually alot less eclipses than you would think, i mean i guess that depends on the orbits in question and how far away they are, but still...
Funkky moneky 19 Aug, 2017 @ 6:41pm
Actulay the Eclipse is a lunar eclipse I belive (you live on a moon so they are far more common)
Popo Bigles 19 Aug, 2017 @ 6:00pm
Ask the person who MADE MarsX for help... Again. It's worth a shot, right?
AgentBlac  [author] 19 Aug, 2017 @ 12:53pm
@Dr. Kaiser I've been working on that for a while, but creating custom maps/changing the worldgen has proven extremely difficult. I'd LOVE to do it, just gotta find adequate help in doing so.
liosalpha 19 Aug, 2017 @ 10:12am
Nice work! Thou with the amount of eclipses i have ther would be adleast a 100 moons ;P
The Chairman 19 Aug, 2017 @ 8:42am
+Dr. Kaiser. That would make the mod more interesting.
Popo Bigles 19 Aug, 2017 @ 6:06am
How about like the Mars mod. Make the moon a Colonizable place or an overhaul for the already-exsiting planet and give it the Moon's white sand replacment for Dirt, fertile, sand, etc.
AgentBlac  [author] 18 Aug, 2017 @ 9:37pm
@archangel-razgriz117 yeah that mod made me drool all over my desk when I came across it on the forums, and I'm actually using some of Dubwise's code that he was cool enough to let me use. If (When hopefully) I get around to continuing development of a mod that would utilize space suits and alllllll that jizz, I'll most likely just make my own.
Essex117 18 Aug, 2017 @ 9:18pm
It was created by Dubwise.
Essex117 18 Aug, 2017 @ 9:17pm
@SubPrime there's the "MarsX v3 - Musky Edition" (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=732754899&searchtext=mars) . It adds in space suits and airlocks and all that jazz.
AgentBlac  [author] 18 Aug, 2017 @ 7:39pm
@morryatay ykno it's funny you mention that. I actually start fiddling with that idea a while back and was crushed under the sheer scope and work it would require. But man, would it be AWESOME.

@Mwloszyn hmm that's a good idea, I'll look into that.

@ognatx The way that the positions of the moon is setup, I don't think that's possible. But I could be wrong and am just not seeing how tf to even start wrapping my head around that lol. I dig that idea tho.
ognatx 18 Aug, 2017 @ 4:52pm
I think it would be really cool for eclipses to be tied to when these moons intersected the sun relative to your position on the planet.
d_valroth 18 Aug, 2017 @ 3:53pm
Neat! The planet does have more than one moon, the eclipse event mentions it.
Axoghost 18 Aug, 2017 @ 3:09pm
Is there a way you could change the background texture to a more realistic picture of space, more like the one in the workshop image?
ZOVA 18 Aug, 2017 @ 2:04pm
@AgentBlac I'm glad you approve of my idea! I'm happy to have suggested it and am excited to see this mod grow and become more popular with its growth!
morryatay 18 Aug, 2017 @ 10:37am
sick as man, i'd love to see this taken even further making you able to make moonbases, of course that would mean you would need to make some kind of airlock block and space suits
heck even a space station creation thing for after you leave the planet, you could move all your best collonist off planet and have space events, man it would be sick, props for putting this idea into my brain man, and i hope it goes into yours.
AgentBlac  [author] 18 Aug, 2017 @ 6:15am
@ZovaZey I love this idea! Just gotta figure out how to randomize everything based on the seeds. But yeah I'm 100% willing to do this
ZOVA 17 Aug, 2017 @ 8:05pm
Just a suggestion: There could be randomly generating moons instead of one set moon, none of which looking identical to Earth's moon. Remember, this is a rimworld, not Earth. You could, along with the randomization of the characteristics of the moon, also add a random number of moons that appear for each rimworld save. Like, for instance, you start a new save and select a seed to play on. On said seed, you’d see a single large, reddish orangish moon with no visible craters due to a thick cloud of dust that sticks to the moon’s gravity. Then, you start another world, this time acquiring two smaller, grey moons, both with an abundance of visible crater dotting their landscapes.
LetTheMossReclaimYou 17 Aug, 2017 @ 4:32pm
But the question is, can we colonize it?
