Does this mod still work? i really really want the aircraft carrier soooo bad. i cant find any good mods that have an american aircraft carrier cuz the one in the base game is soooo UGLY.... @hizkiyahu

This mod is no longer supported (neither is MOAR for that matter). Please use Warfare Expanded Reloaded or Warfare Expanded Complete Edition instead.

At the moment I am working on making WECE compatible with the base game and R&F again. After that I will start work on a GS version of WECE.

As this mod is no longer in development there will be no GS version. I will probably eventually get around to make this work with the base game again though.

WECE is the updated version of WE (for MOAR), so it is no longer supported.

WECE includes all the global units from S&T:UE already so there's nothing to be compatible with and shouldn't be subscribed to concurrently. Now S&T:UU, the one with all the UUs, is compatible with WECE and can be run together.

Negative. This mod is no longer being worked on and I see no need for a S&T version.
The next version will be WECE for GS.

Paulytnz no, the MG is a regular land unit again and it's line is no longer called Automatic Gun, I have renamed it to fire support. It starts with the Slinger and ends with Heavy Weapons.

Hanlon after I release this my plan is to try and fix up some cultural variation and hopefully make it more accurate. The problem is Firaxis have given us a half arsed attempt at cultural diversity and the code for it is really messy to work with. As far as they are concerned all of Asia in one cultural group and the USA, Russia and Europe are one culrural group, so we don't have much to work with.

this is good mod but i think korea and japen must use US or europe(wast or north) weapon becaues korean military and japan SDF(Self-Defense Forces) use most weapons from the United States and Europe.

Thats right it won't depend on MOAR anymore. It won't use S&T either but it should be compatible with the S&T unique units expansion. There will also be quite a lot of new units and I have fully padded out the automatic gun line.

Yes and no. I will leave this as it is and I am almost finished making a new standalone version. I have just completed a test game and after fixing a few things I should have something to release shortly.

Warfare Expanded took about a year to get it to its current state. Yes you are right it is the eras that would be the bigest problem. New buildings, wonders, techs, civics, policies and units for each era would take time. I do like your ideas though and it is a shame you can't mod because I think it would be a really good mod but I think something like this would need a team rather than one person.

Venboven I do like your ideas but if I implemented all this I would have no life either. Well at least for the next 5 years it would take to make this. I don't think you fully understand the amount of work that would need to go into something so ambitious. If you are serious I would suggest going onto a forum like CIvfinatics and try and recruit some modders to come on board with this.

My ideas for 10 eras: Ancient History -> Classical Antiquity -> Dark Ages (Late Antiquity) -> Medieval Period -> The Renaissance -> Colonial Era -> Industrial Era -> Modern Era -> Atomic Age -> Digital Era. (Adds 2 eras) This tech tree provides 1 unit per era. There's like 2 I couldn't think of. And I did A LOT of research. I really have no life. Tell me what you think :D

Thanks for that info Hiz, I was starting to think I had misread that info. I always wanted them to offer full support for that. The 1-2 unique units are not enough. I always forget that I am playing a certain nation due to this. It's like I am playing the same nation every game since they all share most of the same skins, well for the basic units anyway.

End game everyone has the exact same units/skins too and this makes the game a bit of a bore as well.

I suppose they will never get around to it and complete it for civ 6.

Paulytnz. When you take a look at the art files you can they have experimented with it but its a mess and some have it but most don't. The foundation is there so I would say they had to release it before they finished that part of the art.


Please stop asking for S&T compatability. S&T' changes unit lines in a way that make it incompatible with WE. If anything I will be releasing a standalone version but not for a while yet. I am not spending as much time modding these days and Civ 6 modding is a very slow process.

Plz, could you make a mod that just change the graphic of Missile Cruiser? I can't stand that the god damn 'missile boat' claiming itself as cruiser.

More over, is there any mod that does NOT add new unit, but change unit graphic more 'Civ5 R.E.D-ish'? In other term, ethic? I can't find any ethnic unit mod of Civ6. So sad.. :(
