I'd also point you toward a number of the dwarf maps, which are fantastically designed and very fun to play, yet are also only attackable from one, or at most two, walls. Marienburg is surrounded by water, so even if the whole wall were attackable, you're still going to have chokepoints on 1-3 bridges. Therein the size and angle of the walls would be sort of insignificant, since you'd still be inevitably forced to one of those spots to enter the city proper.
That doesn't rule it out as a possibility, though, as I even put little siege walls in the background to see how they'd look.
will the map be from different angles if attacked from different angles in campaign? i would love to try out the rest of this glorious city :D
I'm pretty sure I've worked out all of the kinks, but I want to be certain before I drop it on them.
@Red Eclipse Thanks! The idea of maps extending past the playable area never bothered me, I just don't like how CA's cities don't even look like the one's they're supposed to be.
Absolutely. There're already some elf stuff in that wing of the city, but without proper high elf props, it just isn't the same.
I'd love to see an update to this when Warhammer II has the proper tools released.
