wich ment that if you where playing any of these cultures
you would get a -15 on public order with 100% of your religion in the province

i've moved over to the Ancient Empires team on the Attila game. in AE there is there is a much more developed version of this work.

Great mod and supplements the campaign experience very well, highly recommended. BUT playing as for example averni (very hard) there seems to be a pretty harsh bug / mistake that currently causes too much base cultural penalty (pls fix if you got the time)

Great mod! However, i think there is a small thing to be fix: playing Roman, at Epidamos in Illyria, the village (copper) gives + 25 cultural influence for all regions. It breaks a bit the immersion, i believe it was supposed to be 2.5 :) Thanks!

I really like the concept of this mod, but right now it seems oddly harsh. In my Iceni campaign I have a base -15 cultural tention penalty, even if the culture is 100% britannic. Why is there a base? I get having culture have a big impact, but having a base value independent of the actual cultural makup of the province just doesn't make sense to me.

a new update has been published by Xardovany. he took over the CT project and is doing a great job with it. sadly steam doesn't allow me to transfer the project to his workshop so i have to update it. but no credits for me this is now his work!

No, and appearently CA has fixed the diplomatic issues pertaining to older saves so those should hopefully be solved.

Well after further investigation, I think that for now the existing saves are the biggest victims, new games should be relatively okay. I played a nearly full new campaign yesterday without much problems so it's definately not unplayable. The good news is that the problems related to diplomatic values, for example: factions believing the wrong faction to be their historic liberator or overlord etc, can have those values can lowered in DEI updates so their effect can be mitigated.

No problem, I must also add, patch 19 has seriously wrecked the diplomatic system in DEI, which according to Dresden might take over a year to fix, since it would require altering the diplomatic values of each faction to each other faction, so any problems related to that are out of my hands (this is the reason you'll see unusual -diplomatic messages like battle support or marriages with factions that are already destroyed). This problem affects both existing saves and new games, although its issues will be more extensive in existing saves since they use the old startpos. New version: altered some of the diplomatic values incase they might cause overly aggresive behavior, normalized some of the values, since they were calculated with formulas before, they looked odd often. Also slightly lowered the public order bonus for the AI incase it made the mod obselete at high difficulty levels, can be adjusted if necessary. Also fixed some typos and added cultural values to the 2nd and 3rd greek trade and slave forum buildings. Also, Joysong has moved on to Ancient Empires to incorporate this mod into their Atilla mod.

I've been playing with the existing version for the past days without issue, also there aren't any tables inside the mod that would make enemies super aggressive othe than those intended by the mod's premise. I've had an updated version appearently that I hadn't uploaded yet, i'll sent it to joysong soon, but if you still have issues after that, i'm afraid it'll be on your end.

I agree. Regions now keep their cultures for a much more believable and longer timespan. I also love how commerce creates a sort of multicultural trade hub and brings in different cultures as you would expect. So much more can be said about this mod, it just makes the game flow so much better and gives it some much needed extra depth.

Big thanks to the creators. I am sure I speak for many when I say we immensely appreciate your contributions to the game and DeI! :)

Xardovany - can you add a 0infront of the mod name so it loads the first mod along with DeI Arbitriss? would be easy if you do this instead of having to reorder all the submods.

More specifically, the easternn buildings were expanded for their own sakes, there weren't many of them. Carthage shares buildings with the Greeks, so those buildings now give cultural influence based on the owner.

For Carthage we added a whole series of buildings for the Eastern buildings with often foreign influence and at the same time the indigenous culture according to the faction. Also temples have now an higher influence on Punic religion.

For romans: a few value changes for example more cultural influence on the roman entertainment buildings.

Some experimental changes on the effect_scopes for provinces.

i have reduced the tension for macedonian campaign with another 4 points. before a minus 10 cultural difference now its minus 6. default without CTmod is minus 3

Cultural tensio is compatible with Data Venia . just make sure its loaded before Data Venia
