Well, the damage is not high usually, it's bearable.
You don't jump a lot anyway as a regular marine.
The weird thing is that it happens with jetpacks too :o
I haven't played on it since turning on fall damage. Just how bad is it?
1m jumps will result in falling damage.
30m jumps falling damage still isn't enough to kill a marine.

I'd like to make another more traditional rats-style map (great big open center), but I fear it would be completely unbalanced in NS2 :D
The ns2stats website can help you find a server that plays any particular map if you look at their Maps tab.
Enabled falling damage.
Thickened some of the freezer (Marine start) walls so alien body parts are less likely to clip all the way through.
