I'm currently in the process of making compatibility patches for this mod. It's shocking how much content is missing for Humanity Expanded. This is a wonderful mod that adds a lot of character to Kenshi's people generation. We need more like this. Just a heads up - you're missing a single line (colour value) on the Meadowlander male & female race configs, so the skintone slider doesn't work. I copied the missing like over from the Imperial configs and it works fine now, so it's a pretty quick fix:

<Colour r="50" g="0" b="0" />

Fits in like this:

<ColourRange name="Skin Tone">
<Colour r="255" g="255" b="255" />
<Colour r="50" g="0" b="0" />
</ColourRange>

For anyone else who doesn't have the patience to wait for an official fix, this is in "steamapps/workshop/content/233860/1122768259/editor_data_Meadow_Folk.xml". Make sure you copy it twice - once for male, once for female.

I don't like the renames, it sounds like it will conflict with a lot of mods and frankly this mod, although great, the idea is amazing and the game was lacking more indepth ethnicities, it doesn't add that much to disregard the rest of the mods available in the community, I will give it a try though, hopefully Kenshi won't uninstall itself in the process.

@ BaaSheep, youre kidding me right? people are made equally but it runs within families and Countries, in Kenshi factions, to be trained in specific things that they are close to or live by, humans had to adapt to survive from the begginings. you can say all people are equal, true enough they are equal when it comes to their potential nothing else.

Yeah! They're placed into all Major Factions, also. So in Holy Nation area, you're way more likely to see Desert Folk and so on. Other places, other people :)

The races make Kenshi interesting; alien species with alien cultures in an alien world. Fits the harsh gameplay, daunting soundtrack, and adventurous tone well. I r ea l l y like this idea. Ashlanders were neat, like another offshoot species, so seeing "humanity" clumped into Greenlanders kinda stunk. Thanks for keeping things fresh

Very nice! Yeah, sounds very easy to do! On my mod Project Eternia, I messed around with dialogue and even Quest-building, which is very possible to do, for Relations/Cats/Consequences. I can definitely help with this ^^ And I definitely like the idea of the Shek having more love to their Lore/Race. Deepening the complexity of their social structure would be pretty fun! Dialogue is also like the only part of the FCS I haven't messed with as I keep getting caught up into more and more stuff before getting there as the dialogue parts were more like extra after the fact ideas.

I would love that. I was actually planning to expand the dialgoue to include the new races I added (just some variantion on the current races to offer the player different roles within the different races like a Shek Serf or Noble etc.) and create a sort of caste system where lowborn race selections will be treated as such by highborns. I'm still ironing out some stuff and have to test out the spawning ratios and a few other things. I also need to get permission from more authors as I wanted to kind of create a sommunity overhaul project where I made a nice easy to install and use and maintain mod that incorporates most of the communities content so its easier for others to manage all the content wihtout needing to juggle hundreds of subs and updates.

I may implement Dialogue focused on the Races, to make them more colorful and appealing to the world of Kenshi. -- For instance, in the Holy Lands, a Non-Desert/Meadow Folk will encounter Racism to a level of elitism. The same can be said about the Old Empire, as they are heavily Imperial Folk, with a dash of Coastal Folk.

--Also, to help anyone's perception of the Races I made, here's a small explanation.

Meadow Folk - Anglo Europeans

Desert Folk - Middle Eastern

Coastal Folk - Island/Africans

Imperial Folk - Oriental/Indian
