Anytime I try to host a game for my friend he gets stuck at 0% loading forever. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Assuming this is the same issue you're having, if you win the ground battle the planet stays in the hands of whoever owned it first and you more or less get nothing, but the game *should* start running as normal. However, if that same planet gets invaded again by anyone other than you, the exact same issue/bug will kick in where the game will semi-freeze, the game'll try to pull you into another ground battle, etc. If we did run into the exact same bug, I'd highly recommend winning the ground battle (you might have to reload the autosave multiple times to get a ground battle where you get to control at least one of the free militia units) and as soon as the game starts running like normal, immediately secure the planet in question with either a dummy-thicc fleet and/or a well-optimized ground army with all the base defenses possible. If this doesn't help and everything I said above is useless, then I deeply and genuinely apologize and hope you're able to find a solution soon!

Hi Zann! I had a similar issue playing as the New Republic in one of the later eras where the game semi-froze, but was still able to move my cursor around. What ended up happening was the game was attempting to drag me into a ground battle on a planet which was controlled by a different faction being invaded by another different faction (I had neither a fleet nor a ground army anywhere near it). I was able to load an autosave to actually get the option to play the ground battle in question to load (not sure why autosave isn't working for you). It was really weird bc it was a three-way between the Hutts, Greater Maldrood, and me as the NR, while the only units I could control once loading in were the free little militia units that you randomly get which I could use to cap a point and bring in reinforcements (which again, was really weird bc I could call on half of the total ground units in an army which was nowhere near the planet).

I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue, everything froze at week/cycle 522 while playing the New Republic, era 7. I recently conquered N'Zoth. I am able to move the cursor around the screen, but not able to do anything else, the entire game froze. I have tried loading from previous saves, auto save, but nothing seems to work, it crashes right at the same time regardless of how I change my tactics.

Any ideas on how to resolve?

I'm getting an xml parse error and the game won't launch. I don't have any other mods installed. Anyone else with this issue?

Did you make sure to put a ship in the pathfinder slot before jumping to another planet?

Im using the infinite unit cap mod in case that matters, but I cant manually deploy my ships in battle? this caused a whole bunch of my ships to spawn on top of the enemy fleet... even the battle cruiser was destroyed.

Intervention missions are only available for the New Republic, Hutts and Hapes. If you are playing a different faction then they won't show up.

If you are, then it should start once you're done setting up. If that hasn't, worth reporting it as a bug.

In Custom Galactic Conquest is there supposed to be an adviser that gives you random quests for rewards like it does in FOTR? For some reason nothing appears other than the logs about the CGC list.

@Medic make sure you have enough population try building golan colonies.
In skirmish it's in the main station. If you mean in GC? That's not a thing. You get research projects depending on time period but those are specific unlocks rather than being a "tech level."

Ive started new game, for Empire, Era 2
I have 300+ crew but for some reason I couldnt build Executor... I saw its icon at Kuat but it was unavaliable and after few moments it missed!
What am I doing wrong?

I don't think it's ever been released. Last time I heard about it it was still in the works, and that must've been like... a year ago at least? You'd be better off asking on Discord.

I remember that a while ago someone was working on a submod that had a bunch of canon ships (other than the Starhawk which is already in-game), but didn't hear anything about it ever since.

unless im just dumb as well but whenever i try and do a custom gc i do the three choices and before i can even do the planets it just skips that and puts me into a game.

At current, there is no New Republic Civil War. The closest you'll get is the Corellian Crisis, when that gets added.

In 19 aby campain there is saying that republic can be in civil war, is there any way to start it if i play as Imperial remnants, because it would help me win war

I admire what this mod sets out to accomplish, yet it feels like it is living beyond its means. The Galactic map is an excruciating chore to interact with; it is constantly chugging, lagging, and freezing up for several seconds at a time. Simple tasks like moving ships between fleets or units from ground to orbit take 10x longer because every few seconds the game is freezing up for multiple seconds to process what I just told it to do.

It might be worth trying a smaller historical, like Deep Core Conflict, Corporate Acquisitions and anything else with a small number of included factions.

I do not recall the exact values, though there is a menu in the galactic view that should say, but in 3.5 it will be a 5% bonus to damage, speed, heath/shield and fog of war reveal.

Hi, I have a question regarding the Modular Taskforce Sensor Crusier from the Dark Empire roster which has an observation module, that grants a combat bonus to all fighters. What kind of bonus (percentage of hull or firepower?) does it add to the fighters and is it the same as the Surveyor Reconnaissance Frigate from Zsinjs Empire?

Yea I was just hoping to find to something like this but would allow for me to use dreadnoughts, So Is the only mode they are available in is fleet builder? I pretty much just want to make a big battle. But suck sadly at making fair battles

As far as I'm aware, the only PvE mode is regular skirmish - and even that I'm not certain on.

There's a skirmish mode called Space Supremacy (or Flagship Supremacy) where you have a starting executor, but it's not the main draw of the mode so you might be disappointed.

Yeah, dreadnoughts are unavailable in skirmish for balance reasons (I think). I'm pretty sure there's a skirmish map that has a Executor as a starbase.

@Heartitraces try turning on cruel AI I get attacked all the time but its def harder than normal admiral so just be prepared.
