EDIT: I have better idea, why not make torches always burn, but after time set in this mod, torches loss like 50-80% of their luminescence ...so it would look like they are on edge of burning out and would tempt player to replace them - then depending on mod ver that Author could make, upon removing from map they would either refresh or dissapear in inventory.
So best of both worlds. Somewhat realistic, but don't break dungeons or gameplay.
It would be smarter if any torch placed by player get this function, but be unafected otherwise.
Would you be willing to make compatibility patches for handheld torches and tinted torches?
It now uses the Starbound time system.
- Nuru, probably
now nightmare+ difficulty makes it harder.
(also, cool idea but would the area that the light makes lit *insert joke about somthing being lit* get small and smaller over time untill the light goes out?
@Captain Space Shark - There should be no problems, unlit torches will stay unlit but that's about it.
It would probably work pretty well though.
and if im doing a derp and crops can grow from off-world, then maybe it just wouldn't work that way
