dont use the extinction event ability unless you are alone with that guy on the map...it kills everyone including your team mates without warning lol xD

Can't tell if it has already been talked about, but does "over the shoulder" always last 1 turn ? Or does it work on conditions I don't know yet ?

After some testing it seems this is incompatible with the Biotic class rpgo. The Biotic mod overwrites the class slots that this mod uses so the skill trees never appear in the promotion screen

Posted a bug report but deleted it because I was mistaken, but I feel I should repeat it generally.

I used Mind Wrack on an Andromedon, killing it instantly. My soldier then fell into Panic, doing absolutely nothing, for FIFTY TURNS. I'm not kidding. I put on "TakeNoDamage" and evacuated the rest of my team. She sat there, doing nothing, for fifty turns. Other soldiers Panicked in the same mission and it lasted for one turn as usual.

Fifty turns - I feel that's not intentional but if it is, feels a bit harsh, no?

K, so I don't know if anyone else is aware of this, or if this has been talked about before, but Mind Shields, as well as Mind Weave Vests from the Additional Vest Types Mod negate the negative effects of the Mind Wrack ability, meaning you never have to worry about using Mind Wrack ever again.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has tested this, but Mind Wrack 1-Shot KO's the Chosen, including the Chosen Warlock, which I find hilarious as in the ability description it mentions that it can't 1-Shot the Alien Rulers, it just guarantees a massive amount of crit damage.

Still fun classes to use though, I like naming them after the three special psions you can get in Enemy Within, while throwing in an Iconoclast version of Annette from the same game alongside them to make them a four man squad.

Downloaded this along with all kinds of other RPGO classes, decided to turn this mod off becouse it takes up 12 lines and i could not figure out how these classes are meant to work. It took forever to find what mod addded these classes, i was looking up GHOST mod since every specialization had GHOST in the name. But i find its called rising tides, queen, whisper, and nova. Why are the specializations names so differently than everything else involving this mod?

Excuse me, how can I change Mind Wack to no longer leave my soldier stunned?

Last game I ended up losing a psi marksman cause he would stay permanently on stunned position after using that skill. Not even using skills that fix soldiers mind status effects work on it to save him.

[ I don't even abuse the skill (no chosen or bosses), only use it on emergencies for how strong it is. ]

Y'know, then take the other option, where they are hero classes, and not normal ones. The mod's unfinished and overpowered? Yes, the completely finished version is released as a seperate mod, and it's overpowered by design.
You may have your own opinion, but do not state it as facts.
Personally, I like this mod quite much, as I'm currently running the LW2 version, where I see them as hero units. If you have like 3 of these (1 of each class) of close to hundred soldiers, it feels quite good to know you have an A-Team in case shit needs to positively, absolutely and utterly die.
At least that's my point of view. Feel free to disagree.

To clarify, I knew these classes were strong. I don't mind classes being overpowered, it's a single player game afterall... But these classes are straight-up godmode. They break your campaign.

This mod is unfinished and rediculously overpowered.

If Reaper's are S-tier, these classes are SSSSS-tier.

All three of these classes right at the start of the game as Squaddies had 120~ aim, almost guaranteed mind controls on sectoids and faceless and guaranteed instant kill abilties.

Descriptions are always vague and inaccurate, or missing entirely, and abilities are missing icons, classes have abilities that aren't listed, classes were renamed without changing the description, etc.

Im removing this mod from my psionics only modlist.

The Chosen don't react if you use their powers unlike the Psi-Operative.

@Author im having an issue where the last rank tier doesnt show up. ive tried starting new games, reloading old saves, using the armory tab to promote them and nothing fixes it. any help you can give would be appreciated.

There is definitely an ID conflict. I definitely would not recommend using both at the same time, although not for that reason.

@Author, a possible ID conflict between your mod and Rising Tide: The Program, not sure if this has a bearing, or could cause reference or mod loading issues or can be ignored - but was flagged in "XCom2 Mod launcher" Something to worry about or not? or if so can this be changed in your relevant mods?

how does psi hack work? does it make anyone in meld gain the ability to hack with whisper's score?

@McKinnal it destroys EVERYTHING. the whole map (buildings, enemies, even allies) are all destroyed. however the ability renders the caster unconscious and puts them in stasis. i dont know what happens if you dont have the stasis ability since i never tried but based on what ive seen it would probably kill the unit. in regards to the squad ive gotten mixed results since sometimes they survive and sometimes they die or enter the bleed out state. overall its basically a suicide attack akin to when Vegeta blew himself up in DBZ. i would HIGHLY recommend you ONLY use it as a last resort.

is there any way of making MIND WACK kill your soldier if they use it? It is so powerful that i would consider that a fair trade offf- after all it can kill the chosen.

the exstinction event ability: does it nuke the entire map or just a large section of it, does the user also die, and can other soliders survive the blast via skills/abilities?

Is this incompatiable with No More Psi Amps? None of my soldiers who use this mod can benefit from it as it says "psi operative only".

There still seems to be a bug when you kill any of the Lost. When you kill them as any one of the classes, you do not get the Headshot bonus from doing so. Your moves are just done after that kill.

One of my favorite mod classes. Damian, if you go into the ini. files you can add an increase in chance by changing the value in force deck. I like to have at least 2 Ghost Gatherers on hand.

No, you just need the Promotion Screen mod. You get them like any other soldier.

Thanks. I didn't make the connection that that was the feedback.

I tried replacing this with the Program mod, and my soldiers with the classes were broken. I noticed in a comment you mentioned they were not recruitable, and the classes are no longer listed for manual training in the GTS. Thank makes me think that I can either have the classes or the faction, but not both.

But I also didn't quite understand the instructions provided in Program's description: "UNINSTALL ANY OTHER RISING TIDES MODS AND CLEAR THEIR CONFIGS BEFORE USING THIS ONE." I deleted this mod, but could not find any config files for it anywhere. So in case my issue is from that I thought I'd ask about those files to try to keep the classes and get the faction.

The Program ships a new version of the classes in this pack. Some stuff behind the scenes has changed, so you won't be able to use your old soldiers that were these classes. I recommend sticking with this mod for that campaign, then switching over if you start a new one.
