I assume this adds additional enenmies via reinforcements or something? Just had a god awful mission where moxc showed up then this additional pod showed up which to my knowledge never has reinforcements

Any way to tone this mod down a tad in the inis? Don't get me wrong I'm loving it, just not the part when I'm dealing with a Chosen, Berserker, MEC etc. and get another Berserker and Spectre dropped on my ass with only 5 guys. Normally I'd have no problem with it, but it's happening almost every second mission.

5 at the same time and they transformed from civilians? What was the mission and was the more hidden faceless Dark Event active? That was not from this mod for sure. Unless you mean the 5 Faceless were in their Faceless form to start? Than that could have been from this mod BUT this mod would not spawn a pod of 5 so that might be from DerBk Better Mission PLUS

Hi Shadow! I play L/I , its late april i think, had m. with your Sitrep , Advent training Officer. Chosen was also there ( a better chosen mod). problem was at the end, sudenly 5 faceless showed up, turned from civlilians. Do you think its this mod, or maybe some other mod, like DerBk Better Missions PLUS. i also have few realityMachina mods, dont know what mod is doin this.

yeah i understand what youre saying. All im saying is Diverse Alien Pods is not coded to touch the DLC missions and all the pods including the Viper Kings pod are forced enemy pods, which Diverse is codded not to touch anyway. bIgnoreForcedSpawnNames=true The golden path misssions revamp mod also does not touch the DLC missions.

@MrShadowCX If you looked at the config files for DAP, you'll see that all golden mission paths are excluded...except viper lair. Which is why Dragon32 suggested adding in the actual mission name in his comment that I referred to. He even showed video evidence in a link. It most likely is true that it's another mod causing that effect, but it doesn't hurt to add the exclusion, which again is *missing* from the exclusion list. When I added that in my subsequent playthrough with no mod changes since the last it didn't have any added advent or other aliens. So it worked for me, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it

It was the Viper King Mission on both occasions it happened. Once at the start of the mission and, the second time, near the end. But again, I have had this and the DAP mod for a long time and it never happened to either before then. I am assuming there is another mod out their that is the cause. It might not even be a mod conflict with this mod.

It's really not an issue. Like I said before, it is probably a mod conflict that is relatively minor since it has only affected a small number of missions. As MrShadow noted, its probably not the DAP mod that is the cause, especially since I have used that mod a long time and this glitch is a recent development.

I have no problem with them appearing during the mission, especially since it is just advent soldiers in the Alien Ruler mission. It was a little freaky to have a sectopod in a Children of the King mission, but that was easily mitigated. Tbh, I kinda enjoy it since it keeps me on my toes ;p. I just wanted to comment on it to give others a heads up and to show Dingle cringe Everett was not the only person to experience it.

Also by default Diverse Alien pods TURNS OFF the diversity in all golden path missions unless you go into the ini and comment it all out.

Diverse Alien pods mod does NOT alter the viper kings lair mission. The viper king and the pods in that mission only have viper-like followers. Diverse Alien pods mod does not force in other enemies as followers that are already not set as follows. All Diverse Alien pods mod does is mix in a better pod composition from allowed Alien followers. So if anyone is getting adv or other strange stuff showing up in the viper Kong’s lair mission, it is not caused by Diverse Alien pods or golden path missions revamped. Neither mod touch that mission.

Are you both also subscribed to Diverse Alien Pods? Because that can change the pods for the viper lair unless you add an exclusion. Which you can find out how to do a couple pages down in the comments from Dragon32

To be honest, I have had that happen at least three times. It also happened to me during a Children of the Frost Sitrep. It was a long time back and I just assumed there were a glitch. For the Viper King Lair, there was a random assortment of advent forces at the entrance at one time and the second playthrough, it was near the end.

For the children of the Frost, it was all vipers until the end. There was a random Sectopod next to the mission objective. Again, I just assumed it was a minor bug and did not mention it since I was able to handle it in the end.

first "Hunt" mission? If you mean the Viper King's lair with all vipers, this mod does not alter that at all. If you mean the Children of the King mod, again this mod does not alter that at all.

No, it is a "good thing", it was a retaliation mission, she got over extended and then hammer smacked by a 1) Bezerker 2) One of the General's assistant and 3) a Faceless
I doubt that set of circumstances will happen again, but it teaches to be more circumspect after adding in a bunch of mods that increase difficulty.

She will be missed.

It has a similar function as Diverse Alien Pods but also adds a configurable incremented increase in od sizes.
