Can't wait!
and i hope the same goes for the lock option for rotors and pistons.
in general though, i think keen finally needs to address the issue they have with communicating big and essential changes to the game beforehand of a release and involve the community more in the decision making about that.
could just be that.
honestly, removing the piston/rotor lock was not a good decision, just like with the last time when they first introduced the new thruster damage cone(which is now reduced to its old size so here is hope).
I think it has something to do with the last patch, that "supposedly" fixed the pistons, rotors and landing gears...
@Noel - Go for it!
I may build a ship that is kinda the same without drones and a bigger ship, microbase (i dont put anything on workshop)
Cool ship btw.
- SE doesn't support multi-grid projections. So anything attached by rottors and pistons has to be projected separately and then connected. You can do it: just make your own separate blueprint out of each part.
- drone range depends on antenna range, so a large grid drone has bigger range
- If you want to make a new drone and can't project it - just make it piece by piece. It's only 10 blocks or so.
- large grid rotor has a feature to attach to a small grid, that's why there is a rotor connection in the microbase
- to save the entire ship with rotors you make a regular save, then you use the COPY (ctrl c) and go to blueprints and say overwrite with clipboard or something like that
- the over 200meters antenna thing happens to me sometimes. Try to enable broadcasting on it.
1) how to use this ship in survival mode since if I use a projector to rebuild it it miss the drones and the microbase?
2) once the drone has been used hot to restore it? may be can be implementes a projector on each pylon to rebuilt it in place?
3) the range for the drone is only 5km... is there a way to have it bigger?
4) How did you save the entire ship since there are rotors?
5) and last question I understood the rotors between the drones and the ship but why to use a rotor also for the microbase?
Hope someone can answer to my questions, thank you.
I'd love to see all the details. I'd like to see the proof that there are atmo thrusters and hydro thrusters on it as well as ion.
Simply put: I like knowing as much about the ship as I can before I sub.
