This map is an absolute masterpiece, not only does is look gorgeous but it also runs smooth without any frame drops unlike many custom maps.
Also, don't worry about people saying it's too easy, I understand that gameplay isn't the main focus here. Have my reward.

Echoing those below it did become easy with them coming from so far away. Maybe once the wall blows, more start spawning there and within? We just stood on the front bridge and our firebug husked everything. But such a cool map

This map looks fantastic, but it's far too easy.
One change that I think would be welcome would be to add a thick fog into more of the open area leading to the wall/pathway up the side, so that zeds are barely visible until within about 30m from the structure.
I mean it's kind of the nature of the map, it's always going to be easy, but a change like that would probably make a big difference.

Nice looking map, but the open areas are too big. I played a solo match with firebug and husk cannon at boss round, and hans several times fell down the wall without reason and wasn't able to reach me, despite the way wasn't blocked nor did I glitched or intended to glitch or something. Essentially this makes the map too easy.

Great map with ONE problem: spawns need to be way closer to the gate. Pretty much all games, all waves go like this: players run out the gate, easily eradicate everything coming up from a distance, gg. I.e. the fortress is not played at all, 90% of the map goes to waste.

There are at least 4 exploits on this map do to missing collision meshes. Check the map in the ridgid body collision mode.

This map is a bit of a joke. The times I've played on it have consisted of the following: Zeds spawning literally across the map forcing you to wait at least a minute for them to get to you. Crawlers are broken, they don't attack you and just kinda run up and sit next to you menacingly while the other enemies take 10 years to reach you. Bosses get stuck on the dumbest things, the Patriarch for example will often get stuck on stairs around the map and it allows you to just unload into his head without retaliation. Frame drops for absolutely no reason. And finally, I was able to sit in the spawn room and kill everything as they trickled in on Hell On Earth. This map is broken and it shouldn't exist. Good thing there's a nice wall you can jump off of when you're ready to kill yourself of boredom. Do not recommend.

I may need to just try it on a harder difficulty (don't remember which difficulty it was on, either hard or suicidal). But it was just so ridiculously easy, I got bored and left after exploring the inside for a bit hoping I would fight zeds inside.
Oh and it wasn't just the first few waves, I joined mid game.

It sounds like you addressed some of the issues I had with it when I played it today.
I mean the map has a lot of potential and I was fuckin' stoked when I joined. But I was extremely disappointed that zeds were only spawning outside the wall and in a VERY open space that's easy to snipe them off before they even get close.

I like the idea that they only spawn beyond the wall until they break open the wall, but on the other hand everyone just camps on the ramp leading up to the entrance and they just snipe them off before they come close. Assuming the version I played was outdated, I hope the space in front of the wall was greatly diminished as well as the spawn points moved MUCH closer to it if you plan on sticking with that aspect of it.

@Hofmar at first light on the fifth wave, at dawn, look to the east.

@Yossarian spawn rate is already maxed, but I moved the outside spawners slightly closer now and added new ones surrounding the wall along with ladders, this should encourage defending it and make things faster too, inside the castle I added only a low desirability spawn from the cave entrance, should work for small zeds coming from the back if people stay on the causeway

Excellent map, Good job, Tech. I really wasn't expecting it to work well with the game but it does. Me and my friends loved playing it. Please don't give in and create spawns inside the castle as that'd make the map moot, even though KF2 is indeed designed to have people moving all the time and being attacked from all directions, that's exactly what would make this map just like any other.

If only you could make the spawns a little faster (I don't even know if that's possible), that'd be awesome. Still great as it is, thank you! I'd love to see further updates!
