I can't remember if I mentioned it or not ?
but their is a free portal 2 mod, called "thinking with time machine"
it also has a workshop, to make maps.
& can be downloaded from the steam store.
their is also another called tag, which costs a bit.
but also has a workshop.
they both have some extra items in the pallet.
eg autosaves & more.
I have started working on a map for each.
of course both have a campagne.

I just did a video & although google / youtube wanted me to create a new email.
their was a "do it later" link.
so it let me publish it this time.

in the video, I did a shortcut, painting the escape route, to the exit,
before coming back from the 2nd chamber.
it just kept the video from being to long.
by saving me a 2nd visit, to the 2nd chamber.
if you mean you are in the cage, that is in the 1st chamber.
& the 2nd turret kills you while you are in there.
you have gone in to early.
their is a way to kill the 2nd turret, before going into the cage.
this is part of the puzzle.
their is a flip panel you can briefly activate,
behind 1 of the turrets.
portal placements, timing & send something through at speed.
(not yourself)

watch what happens when pressing each pedestal button,
to see the possibilities.

I have problem posting video's to help you.

if you have killed both turrets, in the 1st chamber.
you have to go into the top section of the cage.
beware of laser field.
the pedestal button in the cage is on a time delay, to open a panel,
to another chamber.
leave the cube in the 1st chamber.
their is a sphere & reflector in the 2nd chamber,
you need to bring back, & take to exit area.
remember to quicksave, as it gets more dangerous from here.
also puzzle is amongst the hardest of my maps.

the sphere dropper in the 2nd chamber, is no longer connected to the sphere button,
near the ext.
it is now connected to the 1st pedestal button, in the 2nd chamber.
this is to stop someone who takes it to the 1st chamber & then goes back to the 2nd chamber without a sphere, from getting trapped.
due to restriction, from being on the item limit.
I have to now allow either sphere, to be used by the exit area.
updated:
sorted some exploits.
turret more protected.
try & grab the turret at your peril :)
can't go to far, without stopping the intended solution or breaking the map.
which I hope I have not.
as was up to item limit, in the 2nd chamber, I moved both side walls in 1 tile.
this reduces the fizzler by 4 tiles & laser field by 20 tiles.
also reduced both of the grating placements by 2 tiles each.
in 1st room reduced the glass behind the turrets.
may try re-extending it again.
after other reductions, it might let me ?
did not. 1 light strip stopped it building :(
previously added grating & goo, to protect the right turret.
laser field had stopped me placing grating, where I wanted.
I solved this, by lowering 1 tile of the floor.
1 of the laser emitters dropped with it.
I was then abble to place the grating where I wanted.
grating can pass through laser fields.
but not touch a laser emmiter.
I learnt something new :)

if you want to know the intended solution, to kill mr. rightly:
when the panel flips to portable, behind it.
you fire a portal at it & a 2nd portal under the cube dropper.
you then spawn the cube.
the cube hits the turret.
I nearly did cage him on my recent update.
but the laser field, which I don't want to move, prevented me from doing this :(
if you list the ways you can kill mr. rightly.
I will give it more thought.
as for not seeing the flip panel.
it is only on for a short time.
so you probably studied the chamber, before activating it.
then you forgot to look around, having already done so.
it happens to us all at some point.
I have stood next to a funel & not noticed the polarity change, on 1 map.

I was up to the item limit on this map, as usual.
in the 1st chamber:
I moved the laser field & added grating, to stop the player standing on the laser field emitter.
I also extended the grating over the right turret, by the cube button.
to stop the player dropping a cube on it.
also shortened the glass behind turrets, to allow the map to build.
& made area previously behind glass, non-portable, to avoid exploits.
hope this solves the expoits you found.

20-25 mins, I think is a good time for any map.
It says the player had to think about it.
but was not stuck for ages on it either.

as for bouncy gel:
if on your map, it was on the same level as me.
it would not be a problem.
I have only encountered it at a lower level on your map.
I just end up missing it, or sliding down it, due to it being at a lower level.
hope that makes sense ?
the panel, is there, if you want to make the turret on it fly.
the sphere was restricted in a previous update.
I almost dropped out several times, I thought that there was no solution. Then I insisted (2 days) and finally win. I have found that this map was difficult, but finally I did it again and I really enjoyed it. I am surprised by the solution of the bounce on the walls with blue gel to pass the goo because you did not succeed to do it on one of my map.
I tried to take a sphere at the exit, but you anticipated this action.
I didn't find any utility to this button and this panel .

killing some of the turrets in chamber with reflector cube,is changed.
added sphere & sphere dropper.
but don't use on exit button, as it will respawn.
turret opposite cage, in 1st chamber, must now be killed, before entering the cage.

yes almost intended.
exept:
1, the turret in the 1st chamber was supposed to be killed in a specific way,
before you could exit this chamber.
(the turret under the cage was correct sollution)
2, in 2nd chamber, only 1 turret was supposed to be killed by hand.
(the turrets above=correct sollution)
3, method to get turrets into laser inintended.
everything else intended :)

re-aligned faithplate, to make more user friendly.
when it does not kill you.
added laser catcher, to show intended sollution, near the end.

I have had internet problems.
so not all of the updated version is on the map you just played.
saying that, I have more work to do.
for some reason I experienced 33% packet loss, after re-booting my modem ?
but re-started my pc & no packet loss, for now ?

recently, while making maps.
I create a seperate room, which I isolate from the rest of the map.
then put a load of items in it.
then I make my map.
when it eventualy refuses to publish.
I can start deleting items, from the isolated room.
without messing up my map.
antlines count towards the item limit.
the longer the more so.
even making something bigger, can push you over the item limit.
eg, glass, grating, fizzlers, etc.
as the bigger they are, the more items they count as.

I have just updated this map, to fix exploits you found.
while dealing with the dreaded item limit problem again.
I hope if you have time, you will re-test.
this time, the angled panels & stairs should help.
if they don't. I will tell you what they are their for.
as for using the faithplate, to bring the laser through.
it worked previously in testing. so yes. but quicksave 1st.
it should be used to simultaneously acheive 2 goals.
1 of the updates, should now make it essential.
& your exit stratagy / exploit, to get the last turret, will no longer work.
you also should no longer be able to use the reflector as a shield (exploit),
against the 2 turrets, near it.
hint:
kill them, before you go there.

tip:
if you are going to have an invisible anti gravity field, hide the mechanism off the map.
or it will give it away.
or zero gravity field, that you used on you experimental maps.

with reguard to the bouncy gel:
I some times have the same problem.
I try something & it does not work for me.
but when I am told it works, I go ahead & do it.
the stair did the same as the panels, in that chamber.
but as a bonus, gave you cover & time to think / react.
as I said previously, I like to kill them in different ways.
but I had to keep them in tact & accesible to the player.
you know why :)
you bounce of the floor at an angle, then hit the wall.
but the right angle is essential.
so quicksave 1st.
