If you could make this with an NPC and an ore storage crate... you put ore in the crate, NPC grinds it.

Would make a nice visual addition to the world, adding life.

I’ve put it out there a few times to see if any other modder wants to pick it up. So far no takers. Especially with the new fancy vanilla stamper, no one wants to put the time in to make a manual version. I can’t blame them.

Adding a few extra crafting tables and crafting batches of small stones on them should make it go hassle-free.

I found the issue. This mod and its mechanical version have a small issue with the Trading post mod. It can be fixed by placing the post mod BELOW these mods in the mod order. You need to take out and replace the crusher head in the crushers before they will work again.

Hey there, i was wondering if this mod is broken? ive got it installed and i built one here in survival, i placed a stack of tin ore into the crusher and stood there holding my action key on the handle while it made sounds for about 1:30, Nothing happened. no crushed ore.

Hey Tyb’s. You mean for crushing into small stones? That’s been asked a bunch of times down below. I don’t want to make it any easier or quicker to get building stone. The vanilla system is already hilariously easy & overpowered. :)

Doing slight tweeks could be fine, or just copy the files and "make a new mod" and just put (Upped silver output) ect...

Never mind... I see you have been asked several times for a Rock Crusher on the Mechanical Version. Besides the output is currently the issue anyways.

When Stamina drops in the game and refills as it refills it takes away hunger, it works the same way as how minecraft works for the trade off for it. Aka more stamina drain the more food drain. Or atleast that is what I am seeing when I play the game.

A quick suggestion... cranking the wheel grinder should be physically taxing correct? Why not have the "food" bar drop faster while grinding?

Slye_Fox mentioned the issue with shift click filling the output rather than the input. Might this have something to do with the placement of the input and output? I've noticed vanilla devices and some modded devices with inventories have teh input above teh output.

Hey. Yeah I’ve seen this report & I feel like it’s just a reporting bug — I’ve got everything defined & modeled. As far as I can tell, this mod should cause no issues for gameplay.

Silly question: Is there any way to create similar crusher for stone?
It bit bugs me out that I have to 'craft' small stone in a crafting table. Lol. Or Am I just blind and can'f find anything like that from Workshop.

When shift+clicking ore into this thing, it goes into the output slot.

Yeah that's interesting. I have heard of similar server bugs but I can't remember whether the problem was vanilla, or possibly some kind of mod clash. I'm glad it's working again for now at least! Let me know if anything weird happens again, and I'll try to at least report it to the devs or other modders.

Is there something about this mod that needs updating? The one thing I want to do is increase the stack size for the crushed ore bags (though probably not to crazy levels).

nooo dont remove it or make it make dirt. as it is it might be fast to make stone at the crafting table but it is slow because the tables inventory is so small it gets annoying when you are makeing a build that uses alot of small stones

Hi Trion. It actually already does, and has for a long time. But I'm actually thinking of getting rid of that functionality. With the new game update, it is already so incredibly fast and easy in vanilla to turn large stones into small stones (5 small stones every second!). That it feels way too overpowered to give any kind of boost to that system. Besides, really, it doesn't make sense that a crusher would make good building stone. In honesty, it should be crushing stones down to gravel, not small stone.

No. The two systems in the game don’t connect yet. Windmill-powered things can’t connect with manual/physically powered things. A shame! That’s why I built two versions.
