@人族狙击手 He and I have never spoken: he hasn't told me to fuck off, so I assume he's OK with me maintaining his mod. As for changing his mod, I honestly don't know, and if he's not accepting friend requests for DMs, then there's nothing I can do to help. :steamsad:

I only used models of some weapons.

The new MOD will not have compatibility issues with any other version.

The new MOD has modified some bugs caused by updates.

Thank you so much for keeping this fantastic weapon mod alive. I've been playing with it for a few hours and so far the only issue I found was that the Little David has no firing sound and only destroys the single block that it hits. No explosion, nothing.

@Lukencio™ 5.56mm ammo was removed from Assemblers in the MW patch 1.198, however it still exists in the game and can be found in cargo containers and turrets (on Random Encounter ships, for example); it's now treated as a "universal ammo" that works in all guns. The AmmoDef is still in the vanilla game data.

The testing environment I use is survival mode, however I had no assembler on hand, so yes, I used creative tools to spawn 50 mags into the cargo container, hence the confusion. However, since no one can craft it in earnest anymore, I've switched the small ship sentry turret from using 5.56mm to MR-20 magazines. This was a fun excursion.

You lied to me! You just loaded in creative mode, spawned some of that ammo and took the screenshot. That ammunition doesn't appear anymore on the assembler, and the Sentry gun should use the MR-20 rifle magazine instead of that ammo because it's not used anymore in the base game and it only appears when you spawn for the first time on starting rover. Also, there's something weird about the MR-20 Rifle because it uses both 5.56NATO and MR-20 magazine, which is weird and i guess it's a problem from the devs that they surely forgot to change the ammunition that the starting rovers has.

Hello! thanks for the fast asnwer and i'm sorry for my mistake. The thing is i have never found that ammunition on the assembler to make more (there's a lot of types, probably that was the reason), and i thought it was deprecated from the game, considering that the mod it's very old even if you keep it up to date. On the other hand, why you don't want to rebalance the mod? just asking.

@Lukencio™ I have successfully built, loaded, and fired the 5p56mm Sentry Gun with the 5p56mm rifle ammunition which is still very much used in the game.

Hello DrNiggle. It appears that the "5p56mm" Sentry Gun doesn't use any ammo avaiable other than the deprecated "5.56NATO" ammunition. Can you fix it? Oh, also it would be very good a rebalance update because turrets feels a little cheap to build. Thank you!

so glad this still exists. im getting back into space engineers and i loved the Big Bertha in the pvp server I was on. I made what we effectionately called the "Smoking Duck" which was basically an orbital artillery ship firing from so far away I had to use a fellow clan mate as a targeting beacon. was so op admins asked me kindly to "fucking not" :D

Mod still works. I have updated this mods description to explain that WeaponCore is so scared of these guns that it will try to remove them on load.

I was wondering why the guns were doing garbage damage.

If anyone was wondering, I removed the old mod and added this one at the same time and there were no errors. All of the 20+ guns on my frigate added with the old mod were fine.

Yes, they will function with weaponcore, but without the unique features of weaponcore (i.e. weapon overheating, target assignment, etc.)

If you need actual numbers, look in the data folder of the mod for files containing the word "ammo", they have the damage per shot of each ammo type for each weapon.

I'm glad to see this mod is getting the love it deserves. Despite the fact it was left un-updated for years, it still boasts some of the best cohesion with vanilla weaponry i've seen to date. Nicely done!

@TheArbyArbiter - copious parameter experiments have hopefully resolved the sh*t damage that BB was doing; I believe it is now as properly insane as the game will allow.

@Fallopian Jones - One minute on google makes me think that's not a mod-related issue, more like something SE has been bugged with for years.

@LaBibbiadelidon'tcare - read the description, switch to Riders original mod where there is no AP ammo, only use one ammo type or the other, or wait until I roll both ammo's into one.

My friend and I were working on a Survival world and got this mod to diversify our firepower. Everything has been working perfectly with all of the guns except the lack of sound for most of the cannons, however, something new happened. I opened the world today and all of the cannons have disappeared. Their hitboxes come up and it shows that they exist. But only the base is visable and the rest is completely transparent. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance
