There is a setting in the the following config file :

Change :

You say that the number of ability points is configurable, but I don't see that option in my mod settings. how do I configure?

Thanks for this great mod. SPARKs were seriously underpowered since regular soldiers are just better in every way. This mod made me use SPARKs again.
@Motionless Yes this mod can be used midgame but do know that if you have already a SPARK in your roster then they'll not be able to form bonds since it just says "no compatibility". Other features seem to work. However, any SPARK you build in proving grounds after downloading the mod has the bond feature working.

@The Cerulean Rodent I've always felt the SPARK became underpowered the moment TC became the place where you make buff dudes, this mod is the blessing I've been needing and I'll check your recommendation too :)

This meshes very well with Metal Over Flesh. Both this, and that mod, are highly recommended because imo the SPARK, as it is, is underpowered. At the very least, it's nowhere near as powerful as, say, a MEC from XCOM EW.

@Jace the Ace Hi thank you for the great mod, I was wondering if you could assist me I am trying to modify an ini file in order so that E.W.R. Reaper from another mod basically other kind of spark to be able to bond with humans, for some reason, they can bond with other sparks but its is Not compatible with other humans, and I've tried to find a solution on google but everything i tried has not effect in game.

For some reason, my Spark and its bondmate do not share a single common use of the Teamwork ability. If one bondmate uses the ability, the other still has a charge of it to use. Is there a way to change this so that they share a single common use of the ability? Like how it is for everyone else?

We need the "Normalize Psi Operative" back please. There is no true other mod doing the same thing that way, the others just add another class or change the whole psi-rules in ways I dislike.

So did I. Are you still travelling / away from your home PC? And are you referring to the Training Center skill tree issue I reported (and did not get around to testing if it occurred with new psi-ops trained after installing the mod and rebuilding the psi-lab or starting a new game, as opposed to existing soldiers, before you hid the mod) or something else?

@Whyte One The main thing is that the SPARK pictured is wearing the top-tier armor, the Anodized Chassis. It gives them a much sleeker look compared to the boxier look of the lower armors. As to the actual selections: Head: Powered 2, Arms 1, Legs 0, Torso 1, Armor Pattern: Classic.

I had reports that the latest patch broke Normalize Psi Operatives so I set it to hidden. I'm currently traveling so I don't have access to my pc at home to update it.

Apparently NO COMPATIBILITY only applies to soldiers that were in the crew before I installed this mod, I just recruited new soldiers and can form bonds with them. Thanks for the mod

Everything about this mod works for me except the forming bonds part, it comes up as NO COMPATIBILITY for all soldiers

@Jace the Ace - I wouldn't say not having teamwork was a bug. It was investigated, tested, and ultimately decided to not be rolled out. I felt it objectively made Sparks the best choice, all the time. I have had them learn other bond abilties, as there was nothing blocking them. Careful with the extra ablities. Sometimes they make sparks go - odd.

Still, more choices are always good. That way there is something for everybody.

@Arkhangel, yes, I saw the other one that give SPARKs bonds, but it's just an ini change. It didn't fix the bugs I mentioned in the description.

@frizzeldian12 they are in the DLC folder in the steam installation directory.

@Perogi Palooka, I already did that. Shredder, Volatile Mix, etc, shouldn't roll on SPARKs with this mod. Since it's just a ini configuration, it shouldn't have any conflicts with other mods allow SPARKs to learn XCOM abilities.

The ability for sparks to form bonds and earn ability points is great, thanks for adding this! However, there is already a mod that allows them to learn xcom abilities.

I would suggest you learn from that changelog and disable certian skills the sparks could roll to learn, as they would be redundant on mechanized units (e.g. Shredder, as the spark has that by default)
