This mod seems perfect, but with a tail it will be #1 on my mod list.

Heads up: That mod MUST be first in the mod list or it won't work. Something about modifying the player pawn forces that.
There is no tail. I tried to alter the player model, but I couldn't get the model to load in properly with the animations, I'll work on that later down the line, but for now my map, Alluvion, is taking priority over cosmetics.

And if I recall correctly, WC mentioned the idea of an underwater map, and acknowledged that it was a requested map, but stated they weren't going to make one. I think they have a few maps planned out (and in the works) so they're not going to add underwater to the list
I'll keep looking for other solutions though, I'd like to edit the character creation screen to get multiple races selectable, but I think that's locked down in the dev kit so we can't touch it :/

Another thing I noticed is sure you can eat raw fish but you can't do it in the water.
And @Cheese SHHHHH!
@deadlysnipergoat It does need negatives, and walking slower and dehydrating faster are on the list. The steeper angle is because I was going to be altering the human models to give sort of "clawed" hands/feet which would be able to better dig into the ground and climb (and is somewhat necessary for the structure of the upcoming underwater map). As for "no one's going to pick human over this", you can't. Once this mod is installed, humans are gone. This completely replaces them.
The can't eat other things is interesting... I'll switch up some other items and see what works.
Surely we would be able to regen stamina in water.
