Doesn't make sense if I can't get rid of local populace even if you burn the settlement to the ground and then colonize it. Thx

@Freelmeister

It's definitely coming! I just need to find the time to figure out the new system.
Freelmeister 7 Apr, 2022 @ 5:56pm
Any plans to see this ported over to WH3? I miss it alot.

*Bows down onto the ground in praise* Thank you so much! this is the one thing I needed to destroy the untainted!

Nice!
Fequois  [author] 14 Jul, 2021 @ 8:48am
Updated for The Silence & The Fury. There were no new regions added in this game update.
Fequois  [author] 2 Jul, 2021 @ 10:49pm
@Victor Thanks! Indeed, if I was a feudal ruler and there were vampires or some such loitering in my land, I'd sure as heck have them cleared out.
Villas 2 Jul, 2021 @ 1:20pm
Great mod author! Looks like this makes more sense than vanilla because I never got why the local populace is still tainted or untainted even when we have already fully cleansed or corrupted the region.
KEPHA 25 May, 2021 @ 11:00pm
amazing mod
Fequois  [author] 23 Apr, 2021 @ 12:38am
@JewCowboy1776 It's fixed now.
Fequois  [author] 22 Apr, 2021 @ 11:06am
@JewCowboy I'll check tomorrow morning CEST and get back to you on this!
MagaJewKing 22 Apr, 2021 @ 9:24am
@Fequois Yeah. Just did a test run as Rakarth with only this mod on. Albion has a local populace factor of 1 on it and nothing else does. I'm guessing something funny happened with the new dlc?
Fequois  [author] 21 Apr, 2021 @ 11:00pm
Hey Jew, thanks! I just double-checked the mod and Albion included. I can only guess you're using another mod that perhaps overrides this one. If you don't mind, have a look through your mods and if you're 100% sure it isn't one of them I'll jump into the game and check myself.
MagaJewKing 21 Apr, 2021 @ 10:52pm
Sup, dude! Love your mod! Makes playing as the Chaos or Vampiric factions way more fun. Noticed a slight problem though: it looks like Albion isn't entirely free of local populace corruption. On my Norscan campaign, I was only able to get it to 97% due to a local populace factor of 1 for Untainted.
tukamaco17 21 Mar, 2021 @ 1:23pm
Thank you very much
Fequois  [author] 20 Mar, 2021 @ 10:19am
No update necessary, but pushed it out again so it appears as updated in your launcher.

@Ovaltine and anyone else interested: you can now find an up to date "toned down" version here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1666440397
tukamaco17 19 Mar, 2021 @ 12:07pm
Could you please update after the recent update, thank you
Fequois  [author] 19 Feb, 2021 @ 11:45pm
@Ovaltine thanks for the input, that makes a lot of sense, but I'll stick with the current design as it better suits the purpose of this particular mod, which is to get rid of the nuisance and give everybody a chance.

@Moss I won't change it.

Still holding out hope for the time and motivation to finish my other corruption mod, lol.
Chozer 19 Feb, 2021 @ 5:49pm
the reason i play with this mod i because it sucks playing as chaos otherwise. getting portals on all cities in a province should get corruption up to 100% if there is no external factors.
Emperor Ovaltine 19 Feb, 2021 @ 12:44pm
@Fequois: I'm not sure I understand. No matter what you make the corruption per region, regions will effectively split into 100 / #regions% of the corruption of the province. Remember in vanilla local populace was generally a pretty small amount (2-3) for the whole province and since province sizes vary from 2-4 I thought 1 corruption per region was roughly equivalent to the original but the benefit of being able to swap it to whatever corruption you favor if you control the province. The reason people might like to play with this version is to limit the effect external factors have on corruption, like characters and events. Still a perfectly valid option...
Chozer 19 Feb, 2021 @ 5:13am
There is no need to update it since that guy already made another version of it
Fequois  [author] 18 Feb, 2021 @ 10:55pm
@Emperor Ovaltine the problem I faced back in TWW1 when I had it set to +1 was that "corruption" of factions owning only one region in a province became irrelevant. +3 balanced this, so that each faction owning a region in a province had a fighting chance.

Is this no longer the case? If so, I will simply update this mod.
Emperor Ovaltine 10 Feb, 2021 @ 3:35pm
If anyone is looking for a toned down version (+1 vs +3 spread per region), I just uploaded a version of that. @Fequois: If you want me to remove the mod, let me know. I am not trying to steal your thunder
Fequois  [author] 7 Feb, 2021 @ 6:59am
It's up-to-date and will always be! :)

Not sure when I'll get around to doing an alternative, more in-depth version, since I have much to do these days, but it's on the to-do list. I also maintain several larger personal mods which take a chunk of my "Warhammer time".

Will let you know anyway! Thanks for your comment.
Molay 7 Feb, 2021 @ 5:09am
Deviants suggestion seems quite good, the +3 makes it quite easy to convert to vampire corruption in my opinion. A slightly tweaked mod with the bonus reduced would be a nice thing. Been using this mod for years (since the first game iirc), but haven't played much vamps since then :) Either way, thanks for the mod! Just wanted to confirm that it works just fine with current updates etc. Let us know in the comments when you do another iteration of the mod in the comments please, I'm subscribed here to not miss it :)
Fequois  [author] 1 Feb, 2021 @ 10:16am
You are most welcome Mossputin!
Chozer 31 Jan, 2021 @ 5:36pm
thanks rasputin!
Fequois  [author] 21 Jan, 2021 @ 1:25am
It's updated, yes.

I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible with SFO, as long as this mod has load priority.
Omck4heroes 20 Jan, 2021 @ 11:04pm
Has this or is this going to be updated for the Twisted and Twilight DLC? Secondary question, is this compatible with SFO Grimmhammer II?
Fequois  [author] 10 Jan, 2021 @ 11:31am
I appreciate your feedback, but I don't want to make too many big changes since it's been used by thousands of people for over three years now. I might make another mod in the future, I have some ideas for different mechanics related to this.
Deviant 10 Jan, 2021 @ 2:47am
Nice idea, but +3 faction corruption per settlement is too much. In provinces with three settlements, this makes it possible to completely ignore the corruption mechanic. I think +1 faction corruption per settlement will be fairer. (I played the light version of this mod. It is impossible to play for some factions, while some, on the contrary, are too easy.)
Fequois  [author] 9 Jan, 2021 @ 5:31am
I suggest you look at your enabled mods and try to figure out which one is crashing your game. This mod does not.
namale210 9 Jan, 2021 @ 3:50am
Although it is updated, which I totallyy aprecciate, the game keeps crashing before I even get to the menu.
Jonsson 8 Dec, 2020 @ 12:40pm
I sent you a friend request Fequois :)
Apxthy 7 Dec, 2020 @ 11:05pm
thank you for keeping this updated
Jonsson 7 Dec, 2020 @ 2:17am
That would be really kind, add me on steam and message me :)
Fequois  [author] 6 Dec, 2020 @ 11:25am
I can't because I don't have the old game data, so I can't compare the tables.

I can make an educated guess and email it to you, I suppose?
Jonsson 6 Dec, 2020 @ 10:20am
Aah I see! No I dont :/ Is there a way to fix this? I mean without using the live patch? really wanna keep going with my current campaign
Fequois  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 12:20pm
It's because it's not backwards-compatible. You'll need an older version of this mod, you don't have one saved by any chance?
Jonsson 5 Dec, 2020 @ 12:04pm
I rolled back an update to play continue my campaign with SFO mod. For some reason this mod is not working and its crashing the game on startup, I tried redownload it, tried turning off other mods and stuff. Love the mod, any idea?
Fequois  [author] 4 Dec, 2020 @ 9:50am
Now updated and compatible with the latest Warhammer 2 release.

If you encounter any issues please let me know because sometimes Steam does the exact opposite of the intended action of certain buttons, such as uploading mods.

Will update my other later tonight or tomorrow (more likely).
