Thanks for all the content you post and the fun it brings :)
I have been trying this scenario lately but it seems I'm either a loosy player or pirates have become exceedingly aggressives.
I've tried twice from the start and each time the third day a base appears and send drones which after some time destroy my whole base... Even if I did not come within 6km of it.
How can I modify the "antenna spawn distance" you're talking about in the video ?

Hi Splitsie, Love you content however when loading in the tools and weapons are greyed out and when using the 'G' menu they are also greyed and I am unable to drag them to my hot bar. Do you have any advice?

Mine still doesnt work, after afew seconds of loading the world it then unloads.

if I could make a small suggestion, I'm trying not to watch too much of the maybe series (and as such, avoid spoilers), and I was hoping you could put something either here or in game (both?) when we start, with the overall objective of the scenario? I presume it has to do with the base 30km away that has donated a drone scrapyard out the front of my house, but some context would be lovely.

After some fiddling and no progress it turns out that either windows, Steam or SE dislikes elipses at the end of scenario names. Having removed the '...' everything now works on my end and hopefully on yours :)

Im having the same issue. File is corrupted.
Im really enjoing seeing your videos. I have just binged the whole Survival Impossible. ANd looking forward for you to continue that series. And now I have started on the Survival Maybe series. And really wanna play that scenario. Anyway you can help? :-)

This scenario is reporting as corrupted when attempting to start a new instance.

I remember it as an enjoyable scenario and would appreciate if you have the time to check it for issues with recent SE updates

i downloaded this map after spending 25 hours in 1 solare system earth and no enemy's at all never came across anything and i got everything on wolves spiders idk of pirate headquarters and things like this spawn in a vanilla game.

I'm looking forward to facing the rival AI builds in Survival Impossible and Unlikely - should make for some much more spicy encounters :)

Thank you very much for the response. I downloaded that one and they are nice, but I really like the ones from your earlier videos. Ah well, thank you again, and thank you for all the great videos, they have really helped push what I can do in this incredible game.

Shaostoul changed the design of the catwalks part way through this series, so the original ones no longer exist, the mod that gives the ones I was using is the [Retired] Catwalks

Where did you get the catwalks from this series? I have downloaded the entire mod list for another play through of mine and the catwalks don't look anything like the ones you use.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all the great videos by the way, I have learned a ton.

Hi again. I play this for a while (cca 3-4 hours) and then drones start to fight me really hard. Every 5 minutes drone will come from base 10 km far. In your series you do not have that problem, they will fly only about 5km from base. Can I somehow change this? Or I have to switch drones off and make proper defense and then every 5 minutes another one will test my defense?

I only change prefabs to give me less uranium from small reactors (0.1 insteed of 1).

Yes and have some survival kid/medkid and share it with my fraction. I figure it ou yeasterday. But I do not know, how to edit comments. Sorry.

Btw. It will be really nice if they ships do not fly on uranium. But it is quite a lot of work to change it (i write quide, to how it is possible to do, into video about enemies - that basic one 2 years old https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZptbD9Z3j4U)

Forgot one thing.

You need to enable creative mode tools (through alt+F10 menu) to use Spawn tools.

How to fix the silly looking moon (broken texture/LOD issue).

First: Backup your save, or just save with different name before trying this!

1. Open Admin tools menu by pressing alt+F10

2. Go to Cycle objects Menu, then Planets submenu and find that broken moon. Though it looks fine when you're close enough it, dunno really if it's LOD or texture issue. Remove the moon

3. Close the menu (esc) and open Spawn Menu by pressing Shift+F10

4. Find right moon from that menu, it is just named "Moon" and nothing else (Moon: Enchanced is that broken one) and select wanted size and seed and spawn it there.

Also:
There is two moons in this world (other is near Alien planet I think), remove the correct one which is near earth - not that one which is near Alien planet. + make sure that you don't add the new one too close to earth and so on. :)

Heck.

Had to Sub to this. I love the series on YT (currently going on EP. 51), looks and feels hard enough to keep my attention in SE builds more than couple days in a row.

Love the game even though that survival is bit boring in vanilla, but luckily SE community has people like you, Splitsie, and all other modders, script creators etc... <3

nvm. I restarted SE and refreshed the list around 8 or 9 times and it popped up. Not sure what that was but i got it working.

how do you start this? It doesn't show up in my workshop content tab. Never loaded a custom scenario before other than the stock ones so not sure if I'm doing it wrong but google says to look in the workshop content tab but its not there.

hey it seems that cobalt is deleted too, the other ores are exactly at the same point where at the tutorial videos but not in the gam, could this be happening? i launched the game several times and the ores are always in same place, anyway amazing map!

I just tried to start this up and when it loaded i got an error for the Shaostoul - Catwalks mod, the catwalks around the starting base are gone.

Tried this scenario. First time, i died. Not due to some pirate base finding me or drones, not because of any falling blocks, not any of that, i died due to me tapping my rover lightly on the ground.

The entrence to my still tiny base in the mountian from the hunting cabin. I'm quite happy with this even if I'm not happy much with what is beyond at the moment.

I turned drones off after both a goof and finding myself scrambling to keep even the one defensive gun bunker on the hill in ammo while trying to recover from said goof.

It's a modded planet so I don't know if it will work. I can spawn the planet in but I want the scenario in with it as well

@splitsie, I'm able to paste THIS would into a planet system. Is this the same way to paste other workshop scenarios into planets systems? Because I'm trying to play this Oros start scenario but there's no planets. I tried using SeToolbox but I think I did something wrong or it doesn't work. I will post a link

I played along in your World a bit, and started working on that Mining Outpost...Works pretty well so far, but i did not tested it with the Goose yet..

My play through on this world has recently developed a problem with connectors not staying locked after a reload. I have started a new world in creative mode just to test and the connectors worked fine so it must be my survival play through save and I have no idea how to rectify it.

@kevkreutz I got a bit of a shock when the drones showed up as well, as I had progressed thru each stage of Splitsie's game in quicker time (when you know what to do beforehand and set assembly to the fastest). They showed up in the early stages of putting up the solar panels. What I did was exit out of the game just as they were coming in, and turned off drones in options. When I went back into the game they were gone. I will turn them back on when I am ready.

Sadly the only way to really override the spawns is to go into creative mode and alter them, I made a video on how to set up the script which should help you, or the simple option would be to load into creative and just delete the nearest base. The rest of them won't reach you if you keep about 15km away from their markers :)

Hey Splitsie, just started watching your YT series and thought I would play along. Loving this map.

Like a few others have mentioned, I'm struggling a bit in the early stages of my playthrough with the enemy spawns.

Is there a way for me to override the enemy spawn timers for my single player game? I'm very new to the game, so I'd like to give myself a little more time before I get bombarded by enemy drones.

Yep, you certainly need to keep some give in the suspension otherwise you're basically running on round hard armor :P

I've made a video on suspension settings, that while using the old values, the ones that still exist carry across as you'd expect - except for friction, that just works a lot better now :)

I shifted up strength quite a bit which solved the problem. There is no dampening now, as far as I can tell, but I am a beginner so the mechanics are not so clear to me.

The wheels update came after I started the series so many of the options were changed, last I loaded I was still able to drive the vehicle - surprisingly better than it used to. It does need to be driven carefully as it's a somewhat deliberately poorly designed car :)
