Hey peeps, unless the demand is very high, I will probably not be maintaining the emeritus series on this game any longer, as I am moving on to WH3, as soon as the tools are updated, I'll start the series again there. love you all

I second djon-silver04's idea: currently rank 9 tier 1 units destroy end game doomstacks because of all the added stats.
For example: Phoenix guard base mdef is 40, matk 38
Swordmasters of Hoeth base mdef is 48, matk is 46

compared to High Elf spearmen's base 38 mdef and 20 matk.
Say your first lord's army makes it out of the early game without getting wiped, the statline of the turn one recruited spearmen is 92 mdef and 56 matk - I think that this is quite broken.

Halving the stat gain is a good way to preserve the intent of the mod, without making tech progression all but unneccessary (also because t1 units are much cheaper upkeep wise)

This doesnt even address the already pretty great matk and mdef of sisters of avelorn, for example.

I changed the table names now, but i tihink something went wrong and I broke the mod now lol. I'll recreate the file from scratch and see about fixing it properly once and for all

I can confirm that Endolphin's comment is the source of any crashing. I went ahead and opened up the .pack with an editor, changed the two table names to test1 and test2, and am now able to run battles with the mod enabled.

Chrisface - ran a test today Vanilla with only this mod vs Vanilla and only your Lanitus (the 100% one) quick match 1 loard on each side and just one side with a single unit with level9. Lanitus runs fine but Peritissimus crashes every time.

@ChrisFace The problem seems to be that two of the tables in the mod, `unit_experience_bonuses_tables` and `unit_stats_land_experience_bonuses_tables` have not been renamed and still retain the default name `data__`. This causes some conflicts, since this will overwrite any data in the original tables. The reason you can load some battles but not others is that the data affected is the "what happens to a unit if it's a veteran"-data, and if there are no veteran units in the battle, it won't try to read the conflicting data and everything works. If there is at least one veteran in any of the armies of the battle, it won't load.

TL;DR: If you open up the mod and rename the tables to whatever, the mod works fine (at least for me).

Laniatus Emeritus works for me, but this one also seems to cause a crash during the battle loading screen.
The map loads, Unit banners show up but the unit figures and UI don't load and after a short pause the game closes. Hope that helps. (Latest Game Version)

Thanks - I've been using your Laniatus mod with no difficulties, but I find the stats of this one to be more balanced.

@ChrisFace Thanks for this mod, first of all. Unfortunately when running only this mod, latest game version, some siege battles crash. I've tested this with Noctilus in Vortex, rushing straight at Elessaeli; the UI doesn't load, and then I have a CTD. Not sure how else to help you replicate the bug.

See like the modder kit is not working at the moment as I saw in other mod, still while can't play the game I test the mod with the new version

all new unit could adapt with the veteran bonuses of this mod, and the common skill as the new type of lord, hero as well. Only the unique skills are had no change at all, but thats not big deal :steammocking:

for the ROR parts, New ROR unit will remain lv10 and only recruit once, while the old ROR unit can be use just like before :steamhappy:

Yeah... the game loads just fine with my 83 other mods active and ONLY this mod deactivated. Really unfortunate. :/

Not sure how or why but this mod is preventing my game from loading to the main menu. I tried having this as the only one active and even still I was endlessly loading (sometimes just flat out having the game close after a bit). It's really unfortunate because I quite like this mod. :/

I rly enjoy your mod, but since last DLC there isn't any update of your Mod. I don't know if you're too busy or something, but it would really be appreciated if you can update this mod and the other one : Laniatus Emeritus please. These are awesome mods, this one in particular when you're doing Full Legendary. Cuz it feels rewarding to keep alive your units and that they get levels !

After the DLC dropped, no it won't. I can't update the mod now as I lost a drive, once it's replaced I can work on it again.

I'm not sure what to tell you: You're downloading a mod that makes veterans more powerful. Yes, that will make siege battles significantly easier if you use a veteran squad when attacking.

With regard to Hero's and Lord's vs. veteran units I think it is well balanced.
However I still see one significant balancing issue:

Garison units are nearly useless now. Any army with veteran units in it will easily defeat even
the best and highest garison units. Even if you e.g. use the better garison mod any cheap veteran units is some kind of overpowered even compared to the elite (non-veteran) units.

I really like the idea of this mod as well as the outdated valuable veteran mods but especially compared to garison units (in nearly any case all rank 1) it feels useless to build any garison.

Unfortinately it conflicts, I used to not boost lords & heroes, but then people had a problen with lords not keeping up lol
