Came back to the game after a while and was eager to use my favorite script, but it seems like I'm having some issues that aren't really listed here. I implemented the fix Maethorin suggested, and I can get my drones and ships to move on the single player LCD UI, but I can't detect an enemy whatsoever. I've tried the turret UI, the RC LCD, but nothing. I also can't get them to land on the central ship, or even the carrier.
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Huge fan of all your work and especially this script! Just wondering if with the upcoming release of SE2, will you still be working on these scripts and past projects from the first game? Pls keep up the mind bending work, your truly a magician!

As of today, using both of the suggestions by maethorin the script still runs as intended for me. Thank you for the fixes my man.

The large grid ships seem to work, but the drones do not show up.

@maethorin It doesn't really work for me, the programmable block starts running but the interace breaks and it does not see any other drone and or module for some reason. Ill try some more but for now it doesn't work fully for me.

I just add a Frigate module in a ship and its worked! I could see the ship in the UI, click and control it! It really just need edonly to fix those two lines. So far, so good!

I did a quick fix!

In the code for the USER_INTERFACE:

At line 618, where there is WritePublicText, change it for just WriteText.
Other fix is to comment or remove the line 620 (for comment, put a // at the beginning)

After these changes I could see the log of the USER_INTERFACE running! Now! I will try to add some drones!

The user Interface block doesn't do anything after i Activate it, does the central command have to be in the front?

Still waiting for the holiday period to put some time into this,
However I had a failed hard drive which had all my project files on it, so it's not going to be a rapid fix

Aite I just looked now and its looking like a 4 to 6 hour time requirement to fix the fleet command script UI,

Does look like keen removed a textpanel api that I used to draw the UI itself, so that is going to require me diving deep into old code to fix it,

Not sure if im doing something wrong here. Got everything set up for a regular Frigate and a command ship. Pasted components, did not modify them. All scripts seem to be running ok. However trying to use Turret UI I cannot seem to select anything.

I believe that the recent SE update broke the UI part of this script system. It is throwing errors on code check about writing to the LCD. I am guessing that it has something to do with the new LCDs that they added.

Aww, there haven't been updates for years.
I wonder if that auto-welder + auto-miner, planet support, and stuff ever got release, or made any progress?
Or if that survival compatibility issue was fixed, about the blueprints instead of just scripts with instructions?

It depends, it does still work, however it is quite old at this point
you would struggle to replicate what it does with the AI blocks, but what you do manage to make should be rather stable, this should be stable, but there is a big emphasis on that 'should'

So im tryed to use your scripts with thrusters from mod (Upgradeable Thrusters) and my ship can't use it. But with standart it works. Is there any way to make recognize those trusters?

try as i might i cant seem to command a large grid ship with teh frigate module strapped to it from the same ship wit hte turret command pod instead. controlling the turret revokes mobility but space/q/e do nothing
