@Yasinp2010 Yes, it should be. It only adds a new decision to take.

@Jeb That's the culture of the Musashi province, so I wanted to avoid a situation where you didn't accept the culture of your new capital. I should probably change it to simply add Togoku as an accepted culture, though. Will update soon-ish.

Should probably not change primary culture to Togoku, as it is a rural dialect

Thank you for the suggestions! I've looked into both, and honestly it sounds like Edo was outproduced by Arita in terms of porcelain, and Kyoto in silk. I think what I might actually do is use the new "Paper" trade good Paradox will be introducing in the next patch once it goes live, as that might best reflect the city as an administrative center.

there is such a thing as "edo porcelain" the first porcelain entirely produced within japan (although the artisans themselves were native to korea, but the shogunate enticed them to emigrate) but it started production much latern on than when most people are likely to have unified japan (18th century, still within the EU4 timeline, but a bit late) another trade good that might make more sense is silk, it bolsters tradepower giving the province even more value in securing the nippon node and there is a disticnt style of weaving silk called "edo silk" that was developed around the middle of the period, and if you some years after taking the decition, take into acount that it's already going to have the discount from the trade center and being capital, so it should be relatively low

@ɌƗȻꝀŦɆɌ The province does indeed already have a center of trade. I went with Cloth because of the development bonus it gives, but if you have some sort of historical reference for porcelain production in Edo during this period I'd definitely consider changing it.

is it already a coastal center of trade? if not, i suggest you add the modifier, that and chinaware might be a better tradegood for the capital of the rising sun
