So I used the unpack/edit version in notepad++ method to get this working in DE and the books/table show up in Act I, but no trader on the boat in Act II. Also... my weapon are held in an odd manner (like backwards until attacking) and the weapon does not really have the effects on it for each spell, my character does. Can you please/anybody port this to DE in a working manner? I would love to use it! Thanks.

This mod interfere with character creation mods. I would otherwise not subscribe to this mod unless the fixes have been made. Took me a good "LOL" 2 hours and 17 mins to figure out which mod was giving me naked characters... Also, it also breaks the character creation by allowing a minimum of 40 skill points to allocate, dayum.

Hello! Is there anyway to remove the imbue effects? I added the lightning imbue to a character and since it's permanent the shimmering lighting aura on the character's skin is permanent. Is there any way to remove the buff and use it again later in combat?

Ok this mod is cool, but you really should change the icon for the attacks that you gain from the imbued skills. Literally my only complaint.

BUG REPORT: When this mod is active, I've found that it heavilly increases the starting skill points of your character to broken levels. Not sure if its internded and undocumented or just an unfortunate interaction with other mods I've installed.

@Skywagon Yeah, I haven't been paying attention to many things since my Hiatus.
But you should be permanently imbued but I haven't exactly added a way to get unimbued.
The change notes I have should also indicate this. I'll spend more time getting it organized once I'm not puking my guts up here. :vanilla:

As for you, @Reynster, It's not. There should also be no cool-down but the editor is janky and messes up from time to time. Considering I've set them in over 10 different fashions to be a non-existent cooldown but it still exists. I'm unsure of how to fix this at that point. I might know away though.

Sorry for the issues though! Just haven't been feeling lively as of late. ;-;

Is the spellsword ability not suppose to be like an auto-attack? I was wondering if you were going to change it to no cooldown or if there is a way I could.

A question: is the Imbued status effect supposed to be permanent? I would guess no, since the images you have set up says it sets Imbued for 2 turns. But my in-game skills don't appear to have this turn limit, so my character is permanently stuck in Imbued mode of some sort.

I can switch from one Imbue effect to another, but that just means I end up permanently Imbued with the new element. Which is rather distratcting because of the constant animation effects outside of combat.

I also tried loading the save without the mod enabled, to see if I can get it to 'reset' that way, but the save refuses to load and simply crashes if the mod isn't enabled.

As Esdeath said, @Hiyome910. I have no idea why it happens, but it's not intended. However, just activating it after making a saved game will have it work completely fine.

yo homie its nooooooot you need to go and load a game . So like make yo character theeeen save then go back activate the mod then you play lol if you start you character with the mod active you will be screwed !

When I have Spellsword installed the host of a game gains an auto 40 attribute points and like 30 civil points, is this intended? and can it not be?

elemental warfare was a great suggest kyra-san :p Not only does it change all the warfare skills to do magic damage, it changes their effects too. I.E Rather than battle stomp knocking down it makes battle stomp create a water/lightning field . Good mod till the big update isss finisheeed. Thanks !

Yeah, @Zoobi. I suggest using this with the Armor-Based Saving Throws Mod. Although the Overhaul isg oing to try to fix that a bit by making status effects bypass armor with specific skills to add more flavor.

Not really sure how to go about that yet. But I'm sure it'll turn out fine! :vanilla:

I started using that, it works well aside from the fact that your warfare skills still require physical armor to be broken in order to use their effects.

@Esdeath I believe the main reason this was requested was because there's nothing else out there like it, which is also the main reason I'm working on overhauling it.

You could try that one Elemental Combo Skills mod. since that's really the closest I can think of.

@Bruno Yeah, I have no idea. Larian did say they're trying to fix all the issues with their editor, since the old version was working perfectly fine.

If I could get an older version of the edtior, honestly, I'd be able to work a lot faster. These bugs and such are slowing most of my progress down and causing horrifying bugs! ;-;

But yeah, I'm working hard to fix that, even with this painstaking editor.

Hello. I like this mod idea, but, for some reason, it is adding a lot of attribute/ability points in character creation. They disappear once I disable this mod.

@waynemcook I've looked into it, and as Larian did tell me on their forums to disable it. It seems that the mod actually isn't selectable in GM Mode if it's not targeted for such. And if you target something for Story and GM Mode at the moment, it causes huge complications.

Sorry to say! That was indeed definitely my fault! ;-; But Larian should have it fixed soon, I'd hope.

@BABA YAGA It gets automatically updated on the Steam Version and you have to manually update it with the Nexus version!~

Anyone use this in GM? I couldn't find it in my kids tab. I didn't think it would show since it's only tagged for story in the workshop. I might just be missing it.

As for you, @BABA YAGA , I've removed the cooldown and such for the next update. As I said in my description for the mod. I made it by request with only the bare essentials, and as stated below.

I've got a huge update in store for it. But know this. In the next update, the cooldowns are actually gone for the basic imbue strike skills since they're supposed to be equal to basic attacks.

Imbue Statuses are also permanent but won't be able to stack!~ :vanilla: So don't worry.

Its 2 AP to use imbued attack and 1 turn cooldown is this the purpose of the mod ? i though all my pysical attack skills would turn to magical so that i could build a magical sword guy :(

It's already there, @Waynemcook ! Just go to the GM Mode tab with the mod enabled and check Consumables --> Spellsword for the imbue books!

@Sliert The thing is, that's an elemental damage stack buff. The intended goal was to somehow give users a way to attack with purely elemental damage without having to use magic and immerse themselves in the feeling of being a Spellblade. However, since we can't purely convert weapon damage of the weapon so that all skills and such match up to be the same damage type as well. This was the result.

Otherwise, I could've just did what Fire Brand/Venom Coating did and just give additive damage to the weapons. Which would work just as well but not be as fun nor as immersive since that's just enchanting your weapon rather than formulating your weapon and manifesting it into that pure element.

After all, which sounds cooler.

Shoving fire on your sword OR having your sword BECOME fire? :vanilla:

Elemental arrows does the same thing right? Not sure if elemental arrows works on swords, But it does work on daggers. My rogue uses elemtal arrows to get elemental daggers

@Dimaz There shouldn't be. Enabling it on Fort Joy might not spawn in the books, but they'll be there at Act 2.

Enabling the mod after character creation in the Hold will also spawn the books in Fort Joy's chest without giving the attribute points.

So no, there should be no issue with enabling it during the game unless you do so at Fort Joy with the expectations of the books actually being there.

I'm trying to fix all of that, but it's proving to be a loopy ride.

@Dimaz I've actually been looking into that for nearly 3 days now. Somehow, on my Phase Shift Skillbook Mod, I've gone from trying to properly add a book into a chest to creating a custom-companion-at-start mod.

Touching the main campaign is some dangerous stuff for me. ;-;

@BABA YAGA It should spawn in the next acts or if you create a character with this mod off and then save the game and reload the save with this mod enabled, the chest should be filled.

Once again, @XavierL.Wulf The main point of the mod was to fulfill what the requester wanted while providing people accessibility in GM Mode. At that point, I'd say that it is optional to use the mod.

Also, if I recall correctly, they're only 120 gold anyhow, but yes. I did say it was personally requested so that's up to the mod requester to determine if I change that main aspect in anyway. Sworry once again!~ :vanilla:

Why must your new skill mods have the skillbooks added to boxes instead of the shops. I'd sub and use this if it were in a shop.
