I read something about only select modders getting the tools early, and the rest have to wait.
Does this work with the DE?
Some of my other mods have LeaderLib as a direct dependency, since they use its trader/treasure systems, and the helper code and all that. For those, you'll see on the right side on the Workshop page that LeaderLib is required.
With that said, I'll be releasing a new mod for the DE called "Bartering Tweaks", that uses a whole different/streamlined system than CA (it shares your Persuasion attitude boost when trading too). That mod will take over the bartering side of CA, and should be much less prone to bugs, as we'll all be starting from fresh saves, and I've got over a year of modding experience now (CA was my second mod ever
data "AIFlags" "CanNotUse"
That should be enough to make the AI not spam them, or use them at all.
I also tested things in local multiplayer, and even had two characters in different trader menus, and barter was being shared, so good news there.
I'll start by updating the debug command to reset auras on all players (currently it just does this for characters you own in multiplayer). That way if it's a database that got bugged out, or a status that's gone bad, that should clear it. I'll also make this command a host-only command.
In this case, that message means the player receiving the barter bonus (from the person with the highest barter) has a barter greater than or equal to the person with the highest barter, therefore they don't need a bonus.
So just to confirm, what's everybody's barter value in your party?
CA's luck aura shares your luck all the time while it's active, so besides sharing your luck when looting things, it also works for checks that require a certain luck value (like possibly other mods that add skills to luck).
The auras should be disabled automatically when using the respec mirror, to prevent that kind of situation. I'll look into seeing if anything can be done.
The auto un-stealth update went out today, as well as some LeaderLib (one of my new mods) support.
By the way, the aura buffs you see on NPCs are just a side effect of only having an "aura on allies" option for statuses, rather than "aura on players only".
Despite this, the visible status you see from auras is just an indicator - the civil ability point bonuses are actually applied with an invisible status that only applies to players, so NPCs aren't getting a bonus anyway.
If not, I'll go through and make it work that way, as that is indeed a nice time saver.
You'll get the discount regardless of the number shown on the initial character that opens a trade.
If you're not seeing that, chances are something may have gone funky when updating an existing save, so try to force the story to rebuild and see if that helps.
You can also try running the "Remove Aura Statuses" command under the debug commands with the CA settings book. That'll refresh the system, and may fix whatever's stopping the bonuses from applying to your party.
