Definitely had some poor design choices here especially the lack of visibility during 70% of the campaign (the forest with witches was executed in poor taste). Resources aren't necessarily "lacking" but they're placed in areas that don't really make that much sense like having an ammo pile in a middle of nowhere but nothing for the horde.

I do commend the detail of the maps. Some areas are a bit detailed which could cause claustrophobia but otherwise they fit the theme of different areas. It's nice to see what "beta" Lockdown looked like and I'm glad you've changed and fixed a lot of glaring errors from it.

i should've listen to the comment below me, this is just dogshit. even in the first map not even exiting the safe house special infected already waiting outside the door not to mention the horde when still on the first map safe room. don't even bother trying this maps

First 2 was ok, and then the last 3 was complete dogshit, just compiled of very poor design from shit visibility to tank/witch and horde spam

Valves official maps have a logic to them with maps divided into areas that are recognizable and therefore easy to navigate. You have open areas linked by tight areas so you have tough fights and a bit of respite. the author of this campaign threw that logic out the window to create a mess of areas that are difficult to navigate and tedious to fight through.
This is definitely one of the worst campaigns Ive played through - don't waste your time

But I found that there are two levels with safety points.

It's the middle level and the last level. You can squat under the truck and easily kill zombies and tanks.

I've played with dozens of maps, which is the most unpleasant one so far.

First, the map is too dark to see the road clearly most of the time.

Second, the guidance is too poor. The route of two passes is to jump down the wellhead, which is hard to find hidden in the trees.

Third, the rescue level map is very small, but the zombies refresh at a lot of points, and it is difficult to find the rescue location.

2/10 don't waste your time by downloading that.
I played many maps, crapy ones, difficult ones, dark ones....
But this map is too dark, there are too many hordes and no time to figure out where to go.
First time I leave the game after 5 mins.

This map has lot of hordes and have confusing map design. I know this is your first work as a l4d2 designer, so I decided not to blame the ALEX since it was never released to public :) But I had to give overall score honestly, so here is. My overall score is 3.2/5

Ужасно тёмная и запутанная кампания. Карты представляют из себя мешанину из всевозможных предметов и текстур. Весьма странные дизайнерские решения. При этом тут присутствуют очень сложные для прохождения моменты, например: куча ведьм, сидящих в тёмном лесу, при этом идёт дождь и постоянно бежит орда. На любителя тёмных и сложных карт.

Fair enough. If that story had been provided beforehand, I would have been less harsh with my review. From an objective standpoint it came off as an amateur campaign.

Lol this is a campaign I made many years ago as a school project when I had 0 mapping experience, about 10 years ago. I just never uploaded it before. I uploaded it a few years ago because I thought, well it's a shitty map but it's a map and it's for free. And it's not supposed to be good :) If you wanna play something better, play Lockdown :)

It shouldn't be a struggle to get what you need when the maps themselves are content with bending you over backwards and setting you up against insane odds. It shouldn't be so hard.

And what's with the fucking sliding shafts in the testing lab instantly incapping people? I went from healthy to black and white after going down just two of them, this is legitimate bullshit and I can tell this was your first custom campaign because it has so many silly design choices. Looks nice at least.

Have you actually played more than one campaign and tried to pick up on how to design one?
This has got to be one of the worst campaigns I've had the displeasure of ever playing. I hope my unnecessary and lengthy comment at least sparks a drive to create a more refined version. I will remain optimistic that it's possible, but this is so crusty I couldn't help but be annoyed at all of the mess.

Way too many fucking tanks. Especially constantly having to fight one on the first map with a t1 shotgun and hordes constantly spawning. Did you only test this on Easy? Also, several witch forests? Especially with a goddamn obnoxious rain overlay preventing you from seeing forcing you to use the flashlight.

Item spawns are actually fucking garbage. I can tell they're mostly manual placements and convenient defibs after bullshit segments is intended to mitigate them.

Why are the supplies a considerable distance from the goddamn safe rooms? Are you mad? When you're black and white and limping to the safe room waiting for that holy medkit to save you it's not there and you have to limp at least 20 feet from the safe room to find where the medkits went and not where they should be? Where's the ammo?

Too many tanks, too many hordes (this map is designed to be challenging which it was!) but the main reason I deducted points is the finale wasn't well designed or finished with open areas you weren't permitted into and lack of direction on what to do when the gates, or even where the gates were or where to go. You might like it. I sorta did.

слишком много лишних деталей, комнат, декораций. мало того что темно так еще и куча деревьев из-за которых не видно ни мобов ни куда идти. спасение так вообще дебильное, стоишь как придурок по всем комнатам шаришься и не понятно куда идти, ГДЕ МАТЬ ВАШУ ВЫХОД???
