It's certainly not designed to be played without pouncing at all, like I said I'm considering even blocking out the sniper like your Resolver map, as after all like I said, you do a lot of shooting in Perfect Dark, lol. Thanks for your continued feedback.
Yes in the middle you have to be a little careful of the hallways across from each other; gaurds CAN see you a floor above or below, if the lights are on and positions are right ;)
I haven't encountered that bug yet, I will check for it and attempt to fix it, thanks.
Another thing is the stairs - certain ones will skip a floor going in a certain direction, this is one other thing I've been unable to fix. I managed to get almost all of them working appropriately however, on this map and on Datadyne Extraction.
I don't think you can get through this map without hurting - pouncing - anyone, but it's definitely possible to do it without killing anyone with the Resolver.
I was thinking about blocking out the sniper like you did on your map, since after all Perfect Dark is a FPS, lol.
There is one bug you didn't mention: one of the elevators on the ground floor, the one right of the two pros, can get stuck in a loopo where it costantly closes and opens, and no amunt of hacking could fix that when it occurred. I didn't test if getting on would solve the problem.
Re-wire the elevator lift button on bottom level to one of the very last guards guns to make that part easier. (the last two guards are placed close together, but you can enter the room with lights off and pounce them from the ceiling.
The rest is really simple...only kind of tricky thing is pouncing both professionals on the ground floor one after the other, but I have done it countless times...falling on them through a couple floors of glass always gives you the element of surprise, plus it's super fun and kewl.
Enjoy the rest of the Gunpoint: Perfect Dark collection! Thanks
But thank you for the feedback, always open to more of that.
Have tested all of my maps 15-20 times at least each, and almost always something different, there is room for a lot of variation in playthroughs, but there are def. multiple solutions for dealing with each floor.
The only thing in this map that I did not intend, are the few teleport bug; these only occur with very specific positioning on a pounce, are very amusing, and I have no idea how to fix them from happening.
Every piece of each map was placed by hand.
Try pouncing from the ceiling - what exactly were you having diff. with?
Most diff. obstacles are probably the standing guard by Cassandra's office and the ones above that, but it's just a bit of patient timing. Disconnect the first camera before WJ-ing the 2nd.
It would be ez'r to navigate to your workshop maps if your profile was public, I had to go to recent uploads in Gunpoint workshop and look for your name; lucky timing.
I subd to your maps and played both a few times. Thx for feedback.
