Currently trying it without any other mods
Unfortunately, my PC has crash and I’m still working on fixing it. Hopefully I can get that working before or soon after Patch 2.0 comes out.
This folder should have a zip file containing all contents from this mod. All you need to do is open it with an appropriate program (WinRAR, 7zip, etc) and delete the "interface" folder. This should allow compatibility so you can use your local language mod.
Please note you will have to do this EVERY TIME I update this mod, but it should allow you to use the Russian Localisation mod.
Do you know how to do this?
Something mod began to conflict with this mod - Russian Localisation and GUI Fix by GEKS ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=681483874 ) - if they run together, the GEKS mode does not work, and the version of the game is written old. Previously, this was not ... what could it be?
QuantumGhost - To be honest, I'm not 100% sure what is causing your issue. I went through when I updated this mod and made sure all the simp_chinese lines were added to the interface files. I have gone back through and found ways to remove certain files that were ultimately unnecessary, so perhaps this fixed your issue. Do let me know.
1. Updated Rebuild mod support since Petruxa fully updated the main mod for Patch 1.8.
2. Support for Plentiful Traditions, Additional Traititions, & Extended Traditions was added. See description above for links.
The other thing to note is for certain values (like the hyperlane color), it seems like I can only get the game to accept "color ranges." If I put the color to be a very specific blue, I can only get a light blue or a dark blue despite my efforts. It's weird.
1. I fixed the issues with the fleet health bars. They are green again, and will remain that way. Apologizes to all for that confusion. That's a place red definately shouldn't be the "full" bar.
2. Changed the "building has an upgrade" button from blue to red to distinguish it from certain tile backgrounds, like Ocean.
3. All progress bars have been changed from red to blue. I understand this was a little too much of a "clash," and have changed it.
IMPORTANT: I have left the red text alone for now. I want a lot of opinions on this one. Personally, I think the red text looks good with the UI and I don't think it clashes, but if enough people ask for a change to say Orange, I'll definately consider it. I also want to hear from those who want to KEEP the red. Need the "whole" picture.
As for your suggestions, both of these have merit and I agree. I was meaning to fix the health bar issue anyway.
1) The upgrade button for the planet buildings should be a different color. Either orange or red. The blue can get lost pretty easily in planets like Ocean Worlds.
2) I don't like the health circles being flipped with full health being red and damage being green. That looks weird. Would be better with blue for health and keep the red as damage.
Keep it up!
1. The red outlines for the regular UI boxes are gone. You won't have to share at red on a regular basis anymore. If I missed a red outline for a box that IS NOT selected, let me know. The red outlines and boxes should now only be used for highlighted/selected UI elements.
2. I have tweaked the coloring of the player, allied, and neutral UI elements for fleet/planet/spaceport/system ownership. Your elements should be blue, the neutral a light blue, and allied a purple/violet. Hopefully this will make this easier to see.
3. I have completely switched the red & orange text fonts so that hopefully there is not so much overbearing red text on the screen. If it is all red, it was all "orange" before this mod.
I hope this helps you guys. For people who are color impaired/blind, I'll do what I can, but I'm not entire sure how I can help you.
@Visc - I'll see what I can do about that.
