@SuperNiceGuy what are you even saying

For someone who have this mod doesn't worked, retry the step in his Description BUT

"Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom\workshop" instead of "Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom\workshop"

If inside the "custom" folder doesn't have workshop folder, create one and put the vpk file inside it.
It actually works for me, because all the other sound mod (which worked for me) it always put everything inside the "workshop" folder which inside the "custom" folder.:steamhappy:

@Who Da Fook Read the discription to find out how to make it work.

not work for me

But maybe it's not going to be a good idea as it would require louder sounds for the shots hitting metal or more attention from the player to those sounds.

ScooBy It's a good idea, I've been thinking about partially removing sparks when the shots hit metal and making them very little visible as they are in real life (if they're not seen at all or only in the dark)

If i was a modder, i would create a mod that improves the smoke and the dirt that flyes when walls are hit. In real life videos we can see a lot of dirt in the air when a wall is hit.

I play on coop mainly. I like the mod so far, just issues that only I probably have lol
Wolf1366  [author] 16 Jan, 2018 @ 2:42pm
Try coop servers or no-competitive multiplayer ones, sv_pure 1 is the command that makes things like particles and other mods to be disable to prevent cheating.
YaBoiYoda 16 Jan, 2018 @ 11:52am
Also, in all servers I have joined, it does not work. only in solo
YaBoiYoda 16 Jan, 2018 @ 10:42am
that was the problem, I had a previous realistic muzzleflash mod isntalled and it had files still in there. Thanks so much, loving the mod

YaBoiYoda there is a problem with the Insurgency workshop and it is that some mods despite being unsubscribed can stay between the mods folders for some reason, the first mod that I think is causing conflict can be this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=801225929&searchtext=Particles+
If you subscribed to a mod that has the word muzzle, it may have been uploaded to the "custom" folder.
And no, weapon skins can't cause conflicts with this mod unless they bring particles for these, for example a personalized blue muzzle effect for a futuristic weapon skin, where in the file the rest of the particles are the originals.

Rawse thanks for the warning, I see that both are very similar at first look and can be easily confused including the shooters on youtube, I've also been seeing that the "muzzle brake" don't always reduce the fireballs so maybe among the original gun designs there are both "flash hiders" and "muzzle breakers" so maybe I have to do things a bit different for some guns.
YaBoiYoda 16 Jan, 2018 @ 7:20am
I can't seem to find any mods that are clashing. Do weapon skins maybe cause clashing?
YaBoiYoda 16 Jan, 2018 @ 7:15am
@wolf I did that, and I still have issues. Not sure if it's any lighting mods clashing, let me try a few things
Rawse 16 Jan, 2018 @ 6:42am
Nice mod, but what is actually on the end of the barrels are called "flash hiders" not muzzle breaks. Muzzle breaks lessen the recoil of the weapon but not the flash. Thought you might want to change this in your description
Wolf1366  [author] 15 Jan, 2018 @ 7:58pm
I checked the files that I have of the mod in the pc and none of them have muzzle in any way except the mentioned ones, maybe in an error I uploaded an outdated version to which I edited many times, before re-uploading the files that I have here.

Before confirming this, go to the folder
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\222880\1172748221
And copy the .vpk file without the cache to
Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom
And let me know if you're still having this problem.
YaBoiYoda 15 Jan, 2018 @ 12:54pm
hmm, for some reason, on some all of them there is still some flash. M4A1 Is a good example, as it has a muzzlebreak.
Wolf1366  [author] 15 Jan, 2018 @ 7:21am
YaBoiYoda Yes, replace everything except the weapons I mention for reasons of not wearing "muzzle brake" in their original models, the latest photos are of the M249, shotgun and MP5 to see how the intensity of fireballs is reduced.
The first photos are of other weapons that were completely suppressed the muzzle effect and they are working correctly.
YaBoiYoda 15 Jan, 2018 @ 5:21am
I just have a quick question. If there are still muzzle flashes I.E. Fireballs when I shoot, is the mod working correctly? I am noticing some more smoke, but I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be replacing all of it with exceptions of a few guns.
War Daddy 13 Jan, 2018 @ 9:30pm
This is pretty cool
