So... I'm not sure if this mod will help or not; But I'm really trying to limit the size of armies roaming the maps.... I'm wondering if this mod gives that effect really?

Been playtesting this mod recently with the changes TK have gone through and it works fine now. Doesn't need updating. Let me know if there are any issues.

@Ana With radious 40% more upkeep TK are just too strong so i think with ur mod it will be same :(

@eenki I dont own TK, so I cant say, but since they dont use money, this mod may in fact make it much harder to play against that faction. Has anyone reported anything about it? I'm sure there's a mod that can temper the TK's.

@Tier Thats completely not the point of this mod. Veteran players completely roll over the absolutely inept AI in this game. Learn how to mod. It's not hard to do. Then you can make your wish come true.

My mod loads before Radious. So I dont know why you are having a problem.

ok nvm i found it in the radious mod part 2 - wh_main_bundle_force_additional_army_upkeep_easy * normal * hard etc. were all set to those low values.
must be overriding your mod, im new to total war modding not sure if i should have been using a mod organizer to prioritize load order or something.
changed the values in radious myself, just thought i'd let u and anyone else having trouble know.
guess i need to restart a campaign seeing as I feel i've kinda been cheating this far in LOL (didn't even realise the upkeep was so low) :P #iAMNOOB

Great mod, makes radious awesome.
Having a problem with the 12% lord increase, only getting an increase of 1% on easy, 2% on normal and hard and 3% on very hard.
Tried with only this and radious part 1 and 2 and same thing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for this, even the 40% is way too much when you think about how much Radious lowers the upkeep. It becomes a spamfest of 20 stacks.

I want to thank those that have tried this mod. It isnt easy. This is the mod I am using. It adds considerable difficulty to the game. Alliances and trade income become paramount to being able survive and to field more armies. This mod is for experienced players looking for a harder challenge. I have two games going at over a hundred turns in and one I have good alliances and lots of trade and that that game is going good. I dont feel the crunch of money all the time and am able to field a decent number of armies. The other game I didnt manage my alliances well and my trade suffers as a result. Consequently, I dont have enough money to afford the armies I need and find myself out numbered and out gunned constantly with every battle a fight for survival. Its very hard. So hats off to those that use this mod. ;-)

Im thinking about a tweak that will change the unit upkeep from 50 to 55 and the lord upkeep from 12 to 11. That will make the early game a tad harder, and it will constrain the AI less with the late game in terms of the number of stacks they field. Out of 10, you might see 11 instead. I dunno if it's worth it. I found my other mod at 40% wasnt enough so I created and use a version of this mod... just trying to find the sweet spot...

That is an elimiation of a table in this mod. I can do that easy enough. Ill try to get around to it in a day or so.

How about a mod that changes the unit upkeep but without the additional lord upkeep?
I really like the idea since i agree the low tier spam.
So More upkeep per unit only :)

This is save game compatible so you can drop it in and take it out to see what it's doing to your upkeep economy.
