Hey man, any idea what happened to Leylos?
pointman 16 Feb, 2019 @ 7:36pm
Guys, the yellow triangle on mods in the mod manager does NOT mean the mod doesn't work anymore. Have any of you tested to see if these mods are working or not?
m_ig_uelon 12 Nov, 2018 @ 9:33am
i miss this mod so much
w00tl00ps 11 Nov, 2018 @ 12:33pm
Minos your mods are critical to this game even being enjoyable, please update sir.
danwright405 12 Sep, 2018 @ 10:59am
sfo compatible?
Gleen Cross 1 Aug, 2018 @ 3:13am
Sure, but I gave examples following the vanilla values... if my memory is correct, lol I dont really remember if the empire starts at -30 with the vampire tbh. But anyway, the point was about this system. I tried to use the usual tables to give a -40 for morathi // hellebron, but the game crashed. But you talked about that you managed to develop a script who could deal with these isolated factions. For example, instead of the entire dark elf faction to have a -30 with the lizardmen faction, with the script you could set individual values for each sub-faction (one for ghrond, another for karond kar and so on).. At least this is what I understood about your idea. But you pretend to mod the confederations as well?
MINOS  [author] 1 Aug, 2018 @ 2:52am
Making the Empire hate the Vampires even more makes playing as the Undead much more difficult and not very Loreful, because it would again result in a Crusade of both against each other.
For this I need real individual Lord Relations in a Table, which are still usable in Game.
Gleen Cross 1 Aug, 2018 @ 12:58am
Thanks =) About confederation.. When I suggested the Morathi/Hellebron thing, I was just thinking about the initial diplomacy "traits", you know? Like the empire starts with -30 relations with the vampires, dwarfs starts with -60 relations with the greenskins, etc.. But you want to include confederations as well?
MINOS  [author] 31 Jul, 2018 @ 10:55am
@ Gleen Cross :

Of course go ahead!

No, i didnt make it yet - Player wants to have the Choice of confederating with all LL

Hey Minos, I used your climate mode as a bases to a climate mod of my own (not too many major changes tbh). Can I publish it? I will give you full credit of course. Also, the diplomacy mod.. You managed to make Morathi and Hellebron hate each other and other changes?
Charun Drakarus 14 Jul, 2018 @ 11:58pm
Ah, noted. Was about to search for mod conflicts. Fortunately I decided to enquire first. Heh.
MINOS  [author] 14 Jul, 2018 @ 10:48pm
@ Charun Drakarus :

Not really, the AI is too stubborn aka even colonise set to 0 for unsuitable and uninhabítable doesnt work...blame CA for that.
Charun Drakarus 14 Jul, 2018 @ 9:43pm
So this, in combination with the Better AI 2 mod, will reduce the likelihood of factions colonising areas they find unsuitable? Dwarfs in coastal cities, Empire in the mountains, etc.
MINOS  [author] 28 Jun, 2018 @ 7:21am
- smallest Skaven Corruption in New and Old World across their Underworld Empire, to have a Chance of Skaven Rebellions
MINOS  [author] 26 Jun, 2018 @ 10:54am
- removed Local Populace and replaced with dynamic, Faction based System, so it will still be max 3-4 local Populace Corruption, but it will be based on the actual Faction Owners living there
e.g. 4 Region Province, 2 Cities by Vamps, 2 Cities by Skaven = 2 Vamp Corruption ; 2 Skaven Corruption (50% Population Skaven, 50 % Population Vampire)

I'll have to check. I liked Alith just being wasteland suitable because it would make his game more challenging over having those three places suitable. You're right he snowballs way too fast with frozen. I only play Vortex map, right now Norsca there is so weak. Need to ask devs to buff Norsca npcs.

Shrine of Khaine and the other are made into Island already,so that HE conquers all of Ulthuan.
I did change every Settlement Climate on the Map according to the Race who owns it or what Building was planted there, depending on their Climates Suitabilities.
It is to male sure, maximum Factions are alive and kicking when Player meets them on his World Conquest, instead of massive Blobs of the single confederated Main Factions in Vanilla, where Bretonnia settles in the Mountains and Dwarfs in the plain Desert.
Apparently Factions although did recently colonise razed Uninhabitable Cities, which i had to fix, by turning down Razing.
Still some AI sometimes do it, the same Way they are still loving the Sacking, since TW Attila.
Betty 16 Jun, 2018 @ 12:26am
Just change him back to Suitable Wasteland and Unsuitable Frozen/whatever HE live now and uninhabitable chaos wasteland etc. As long as Shrine of Khaine, Tor Anlec and Tor Dranil are suitable he'll be fine. That way he can thrive in that spot and invade from there into DE territory without steamrolling them.
MINOS  [author] 15 Jun, 2018 @ 12:18pm
Changed Alith Anar back to suitable Frozen, but i fear, this will again lead to him conquering them all...
Betty 13 Jun, 2018 @ 8:34am
I get it but Shrine of Khaine, Tor Anlec and Tor Dranil should be suitable for him since that's kind of his area. The rest should be unsuitable and while he commands HE, the HE he commands lorewise are more closer to DE than HE now if I recall. He should at least get that spot, not sure why he doesn't start there anyways as it's annoying seeing Avelorn settling everything. Also it's uninhabitable atm.
MINOS  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 1:47pm
Unsuitable, not inhabitable - and he commandes Highelves after all.
Ai will only conquer the loreful, suitable Climate Settlements, so you wont see conquering Highelves all of Ulthuan, like in Vanilla, poor Darkelves...
Normally Aliths conquering most of Naggarond all on his own, this should keep Darkelves a Threat and Highelves on their Island.
Player can still conquer anything he wants.

Betty 12 Jun, 2018 @ 8:33am
I think this mod messed up Alith Anar's climate tolerance, he's meant to be in the wasteland and snow to fight DE, now it's all uninhabitable.

Updated.
MINOS  [author] 29 Nov, 2017 @ 6:19am
@ Lazy Wolf :

That is bad to hear...the Outposts were really nice.
Avalen 29 Nov, 2017 @ 5:54am
The trees in wood elf lands change to be athel loren trees. But the settlements keep their original models
MINOS  [author] 15 Nov, 2017 @ 9:11pm
@ ahbrother8406 :

Me neither - as of now Settlements dont change their Appearance after conquering, does this also apply to Woodelves?
SteelReserve 15 Nov, 2017 @ 9:05pm
Can I ask what the difference between this and Full Climate Overhaul is?
KeyofDestiny17 14 Nov, 2017 @ 6:52pm
i have a question. Arent the wood elves suppose to make the land they capture into their climate. at least thats a vibe ive always got when i played them in wh 1. havent tried them again yet in wh2
MINOS  [author] 14 Nov, 2017 @ 2:05am

MINOS  [author] 8 Nov, 2017 @ 6:05pm
@ al_potenciano :

They are different also in Vanilla, because Teclis starts in the South.
A.Pot 8 Nov, 2017 @ 5:27pm
I gave this a try and I really like many of the changes, but could you please give both Tyrion and Teclis the same climate likes and dislikes? I notice that Tyrion only likes 2 climates while Teclis has 4.
