Thanks guys. Yes it probably will work forever from now on, as there probably won't be any more updates to the game as well.

@HGhMA75
The numbers are sadly not modable. I tried all I can think of and nothing worked. It needs a bit of self discipline to decide before you click on AR if you WOULD auto resolve without knowing the balance of power before. So, thats the best it can get.
HGhMA75 3 Sep, 2020 @ 11:05am
hi.can you remove win chance ?
patrickt 3 Sep, 2020 @ 7:42am
Amazing mod. Still works, September 2020.
VARIANVS  [author] 30 Nov, 2017 @ 9:02am
cunning display? If you mean the "interface" that will be opened when you clikc on AR the first time (then you can choose agressive, defensive, balanced AR) It is not modable as of my knowledge to edit this Interface. I mean it is I just don't have the tool for it sadly.
Radscorpion 30 Nov, 2017 @ 6:33am
Btw, doesn't a higher cunning display a more accurate bar? (Normally in Rome 2)
Radscorpion 30 Nov, 2017 @ 6:32am
Great idea for a mod! Makes it more risky, a bit of gambling
VARIANVS  [author] 17 Nov, 2017 @ 7:32am
Thanks, but there is a AR mods out there that change the tables. I don't want to change them as they don't adress the core issue of knowing if you win.
Cosmic Cat 17 Nov, 2017 @ 6:02am
The concept is great, too bad that there's no way to solve the bar-issue.
On the other hand you could simply edit the AR-table in db so that it would be more or less useless.
The downside is that you wouldn't be able to use AR at all, until you disable the edit/mod in question.
VARIANVS  [author] 15 Nov, 2017 @ 12:45am
Sorry then :)
I do not know what you mean with force gauge on the flags. I never seen anything like this. And yes if you click on the AR button you will see your win chance. It is sadly unmodable... BUT you have to decide before you even click on AR if you gonna AR or fight the battle. That is all it takes to make this one of the best mods for more gameplay fun :)

I do not say that I did not like or that I used it.
I just said what I thought.
according to me it's useless because we see the forces present on the tables and the force gauge on the flags of the armies.
VARIANVS  [author] 14 Nov, 2017 @ 3:39pm
If you don't like it, don't use it I guess?
juliendesprairies 14 Nov, 2017 @ 3:29pm

if you answer me in french ok. :)
I said then: I find it useless pusique we can see the balance of power in the tables and the gauge on the standard
VARIANVS  [author] 14 Nov, 2017 @ 11:52am
english please :)
juliendesprairies 14 Nov, 2017 @ 11:35am
je trouve cela inutile pusique l'on peut voir le rapport de force dans les tableaux et la jauge sur l'étendard
VARIANVS  [author] 14 Nov, 2017 @ 3:33am
I did. I like this Rome 2 Art style to be honest. Something new. And I know you made 3D Unit cards ;) Good work tho!
Nor Dogroth 14 Nov, 2017 @ 1:56am
That's a good think, should it use in player vs. player campaigns!
By the way did you ever try 3D unit cards? 'Cause your unit images in the screenshot are 2D.
VARIANVS  [author] 14 Nov, 2017 @ 1:12am
NP have fun :)
White Glint 13 Nov, 2017 @ 5:23pm

If people dont understand this mod, it puts the strategy of the game back into the player's decisiveness. A good player ought be to be able to discern what option to use by his missile superiority, and quality of troops.

Ok an example:
I played a campaign with Massilia and there was no mid or end game. I just run around and AR everything "cause I can" (always above 50% win chance I click AR) Now with this Mod. I won't AR all those 50-65% battles anymore cause, if I am true to myself, I wouldn't have AR them before if I wouldn't know I "will" win due to this stupid bar. So basically this Mod brings the gameplay back for players that AR all the times just cause they "can".
White Glint 13 Nov, 2017 @ 11:20am
why you would remove the chance of winning? this way you will always risk to lose even easy battles
VARIANVS  [author] 13 Nov, 2017 @ 3:57am
Nope no way. For all or for no one. More is not possible with the modding tools.
[5H] Jake4595 12 Nov, 2017 @ 8:10pm
Any way to make it mandoratory to auto-resolve for generals other than you faction leader? More of a roleplay campaign if you knwo what I mean..
VARIANVS  [author] 12 Nov, 2017 @ 5:57am
Yeah this is unmodable it seems. You have to decide before you click on AR button if you gonna play the battle or not. The function of this mod is still there. If you wanna watch for the win chance it is aour fault if you gonna AR all the time even with this mod :)
kertdog 12 Nov, 2017 @ 5:37am
The remaining force percentage and the win chance still appear for me
VARIANVS  [author] 12 Nov, 2017 @ 5:11am
Yeah, true. I also wanted it back when Rome 2 came out... But for some wierd reason this pretty easy workaround never came into my mind. Bless Warhammer 2 for activating my brain to find this out haha. Glad you enjoy it!
Yo BAMA 12 Nov, 2017 @ 3:47am
Fucking fantastic tbh , thank you for this, I enjoy the game waaaaay more now! How something so simple can improve the experience so much is fantastic!
Fjohürs Lykkewe [ND] 12 Nov, 2017 @ 3:22am
At first I wans't sold on the idea, but after trying it I can see what you meant. Not having a constant visual that basicaly tells you when you will win makes it more interesting to just fight them out like I usually enjoy doing.
I KNOW WHAT I SAW 12 Nov, 2017 @ 1:01am
I'VE WANTED THIS MOD FOR AGES
Burtonias 12 Nov, 2017 @ 12:06am
or if you auto resolve something you shouldnt have! Punished for being lazy
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 3:28pm
Haha it may hurt your Units if you play worse than the AI yes :P
Burtonias 11 Nov, 2017 @ 3:21pm
Hah, actually it might hurt,!

but thats the point isnt it............
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:52pm
Yeah feel free to try it out! It won't hurt ;)
Bill 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:51pm
Hmm. I see your point, perhaps I'll try it out and experience it for myself too.
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:18pm
I don't. I basically did this for myself. I just don't understand how people actually want to not play battles thats all :D.
Delicia Suprema 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:14pm
Robcore-Inside Man do not worry about what people think, you did a great mod, some people may enjoy and some not. :steamhappy::SlyNinja::CrossedBlades:
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:12pm
But it is ok if most people like to AR all the time. This Mod is for the ones that feel like I do/did. If I watch the Views/Abonements it realy seems people are happy to AR and not actualy "play" the battles. This is just an option. Nobody needs to sign this mod anyways ;)
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:09pm

Delicia Suprema 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:06pm
Well boy i don`t blame ou cause ou do have plenty of time in life me in the other hand...So auto resolve for me is a bless on earth.
Bill 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:03pm
but...Why though?? It's almost like you want to go into a fight blind.
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 2:02pm
Glad that at least some people are clever enough to understand the purpose of this little mod.
Burtonias 11 Nov, 2017 @ 1:56pm
Fantastic idea, the auto-resolve that told us the result before we fight the battle has basically been authroised cheating!.. rep +
VARIANVS  [author] 11 Nov, 2017 @ 9:48am
All Total War games had this if I remember correctly. And they always prevented people from "playing" the game in terms of fighting the battles and not just AR everything. So if you like to AR your battles for most time that is fine :) I don't like it. But I don't wanna play battles like 1-10 Units vs 20 Units. Cause they are lost from start mostly, except you have high tier and the other low tier.
Delicia Suprema 11 Nov, 2017 @ 9:27am

VARIANVS  [author] 10 Nov, 2017 @ 9:09am
Ok looks bad. I tried now all the stuff I could think of the whole day... No success. I can not find that stupid number, nor I know where it got it's maths from. Don't expect that this "issue" will be solved. Tho I don't think it is such a big deal. Before you guys clikc on AR button just be true to yourself and decide before if you gonna AR or not. It is still better than before with this mod :)
VARIANVS  [author] 10 Nov, 2017 @ 4:45am
If any great UI modders out there read this, please help me in finishing this!
VARIANVS  [author] 10 Nov, 2017 @ 4:06am
I also hope it... But if CA realy did, I just don't understand why in the name of god they did not patch Rome 2 to do so or gave an option in the menu...
Odd fella 9 Nov, 2017 @ 11:05pm
I think this little mod will be a huge success. CA said that their statistics showed most people autoresolved battles and they introduced a minor fix in Attila because of it. Really hope you can hide the % numbers shown in the Aggressive, Defensive and Balanced section.
VARIANVS  [author] 9 Nov, 2017 @ 9:31am
Ok seems I can't change that. At least I don't see where. Stupid Rome 2 has that dumb 3 options. TW Warhammer just has auto resolve and thats it... I still hope I will find a way.
VARIANVS  [author] 9 Nov, 2017 @ 9:00am
Oh realy? I will look into this. Thanks for telling!
