And, I've tested them to make sure they were indeed working.
So, anyone wishing to get their hands on this in the newer version can.
---
An explanation on how I got them ported can be with the help of this tutorial here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DivinityOriginalSin/comments/9c3tg7/comment/e59klx6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
So anyone wanting to port old mods themselves, can.
From what I've come to learn, is there is little difference between the versions.
So please, if anyone is reading this that decide to spam mod pages with posts asking for ports.
Try the tutorial above, as it can open up an avenue for you to port Classic mods to the DE.
Yes, this mod modifies the treasure tables for some shop keepers to make the book available. It's not compatible with any mod that does the same, which is a big part of why I stopped making skills. The only way to avoid it would be if I made a new shopkeeper just for this skill (not worth the effort). I'll add a warning to this mod though.
It does apply a wet surface in the area, so it probably does.
I started to until I seen there was a blood bubble skill already. I'm not sure what that does. I'm not familiar with all the skills yet.
I think I'm going to stop making skills for now, unless I find a way to keep them from conflicting, or until I can pack a bunch together. The reason for that is because I have to override treasure tables to add the books to the existing shops. Right now each separate skill mod is going to override the shop inventory and cause the books to not show up (unless I was to make my own shop keeper in each area for my skills alone).
Do you think you could do the same thing as the original healing bubble, but have a necromancy version?
I found a way to remove the undead talent which will allow you to heal the undead. Here you go:

Great job, though.
It would be better, not to give an undead status (if it really possible), but boost to poison resistance, such it would be over 100. Then everybody will be healing from poison, like undead.
I'll see if I can come up with something.
Glad you like it :)
It was pretty fun to make
A large dark hole like pull all together or group teleporting spell to manage large groups of enemies is missing in this game and would be a great addition.
I was thinking about creating a package of various spells at some point, but I'm working on something else right now. If you have an idea for a spell/skill I might be able to create it for you though, or maybe I could toss together a tutorial to show you how to make one yourself (it's not too difficult once you learn how)
Awesome! Glad it worked :)
I went ahead and added the book on a barrel behind Bree. Once you go to another map the vendors should repopulate their lists (hopefully).
Let me know if it appears plz. I have a feeling it may not appear unless you start a new game or reload the map somehow (they dont seem to load up with previous saves - I think because all vendors are loaded with their inventory when you first load the map). If that's the case I'll just drop one next to Bree
Found her. I loaded up the level and found her technical name: RC_DW_Trader_PotionsIngredientsWaterSummonNecro
I've added the book :)
I guess DW (driftwood) is in reapers coast, and according to wiki Bree is in driftwood, so I may have added it already (DW_Healer may be Bree). Can you reload and check when you get a chance? I'll keep adding to other vendors. I'm also waiting for the engine to load reapers coast (my computer is dying trying to load it). If I can't find the vendor then I'll just set the book next to Bree somewhere (if it ever loads...)
FTJ (fort joy), DW, ARX, RC, COS
I only added to Fort Joy vendors since they all used the same treasure table. After that it seems to go into each trader by name. If you can give me the vendor/trader name and location I can probably add it to them.
Most likely hurts the undead. It uses 'regenerate' - the same as restoration.
