Why does my game crash when I enter the room? I don't have any mods that effect Proudspire Manor or even solitude.

When I subscribed to this and entered my armory, the mannequins were all moving around like normal NPC's! Freaked me out. How to fix?

Stuff put on the shelves in the room with the extra large display cases and two mannequins always, always, always flies off the shelves when the cell loads. Some of it even vanishes -- including poor Pelagius' Hip Bone!

Oh that happens to me all the time. I just make sure the fix is loaded right before the armory and I have no problems.

I have proudspire bug fix but haven't had any issues until today. I'm not sure if this is causing it or what happened but I went into my armory and EVERYTHING was gone. So I had to revert to an earlier save to write down everything I had so i could manually add them into my current save. Is there a way to prevent this from happening again or does anyone know what could have caused this?

@bipi; yeah i'm back again. got to keep an eye on my favorite mod page. i read the posts and see the comments about conflicts. i feel for you. as time passes theres no way you could have known that there would be so many issues. now with 5500+ mods out there, there was bound to be more conflicts with yours. it use to be just proudspire mods that caused a problem. as new mods are created the code/script [or whatever you call it] for those mods seems to increasingly cause you problems. as i posted a while back, i subbed to a house mod that is on the opposite end of the skyrim map. i couldn't use it because, it caused a CTD when entering the armory door. thats not something i could or you could have anticipated. point is, it must get harder and harder to respond to your subscribers questions, when you can't possibly know why their conflict is happening. just know that you work is greatly appreciated. still the best gallery mod there is.

@vandelion: the only thing that I can think of is a bug fix mod or other mod you have may have updated itself and conflicted some how. Many people use this mod without problems and a select few have this door disappearing issue but since it doesn't happen on any of the computers that I have used the mod on and there is nothing in the editor as far as an error that can be fixed, I really don't know why that happens

@Vandelion; until bipi gets back to you with his idea of why. the door disappearing happened to me not long after i subscribed to this mod. i had the "PROUDSPIRE BUG FIXES" mod first and it conflicts with this one. the conflict did not show up right away after subbing to this mod. it took a few real time days before it happened. the door to the armory disappeared and in the room next to the door, the old crates and barrels started respawning one at a time. if you have the bug mod turn it off in data files and the door will return. ***** before turning bug fixes off, remove all items stored in the dresser and nightstand that are included with that mod.*****

Uh yeah I subscribed, reloaded and all that and yet there is no change to my manor at all so I am going to try your other one since this one doesn't work at all for me oddly.

@Assassino817; if you mean, take the armor from the mannequins in the dynamic mannequins mod. yes you can. they work like any other mannequin once you set them up.

OOPS, forgot one. the other mod i recommend to inhance this one is; > craftable and moveable alchemy and crafting containers. this mod takes a little getting use to but, works well. theres chests,satchels,barrels,strong boxes,etc.. that are craftable and placeable. if you have a problem with how they work. heres a quick guide. 1. pics in crafting menu are incorrect. does not matter! they craft just fine. 2 when you drop them, they are like a pop up tent. they look like a box/book when they hit the floor. focus on them, tap your activation key [default E] a couple of times and they open up to the item you crafted. they are safe to use!

P.S. for anyone wanting to have more decorations to add to this mod. i would like to suggest; 1. the dynamic mannequins mod. only 18 available at belethors[conflicts with other belethors item mods. turn others off in data files, buy the 18 mann. and turn the other mods back on] the mannequins are placeable and moveable. 2. the house decorations mod [large planters only] they do a great job of adding a certain flare to your new gallery.

@EVERYONE; i have been known to post a few [many!] comments on this page. have been lost in skyrim and this mod for a few days. as a result, i feel the need to get back here and post again. just to say, how great this mod [original version] is and how much, as a collector i appreciate the time and effort bipi has taken to not only create this gallery but, to also take time out of his life to respond to questions his subscribers have. this is by far the best armory/gallery/smithy mod available! this mod not only gives a collector a quality place to display thier items collected, it also gives us a strong urge to get out there and aquire more to display. he has exceided any expectations i have had for a mod and modder to forfill my needs. thank you, again bipi.

Walk in proudspire manor in solitude and go to the lowest level. It is the door next to the room with the crates and sleeping bag on floor

I have made a personal modifcation to the version that is uploaded here. In my version of the mod, instead of having 6 vetical cases along the back wall in the new room, I have placed a a long display case with 2 shelves (like the one with arrows and guanlets in my screenshots) in place of the pair of tall shelves along the back wall. Also, instead of having a pair of storage chests with the trianlge formation of plaques on the side wall in the last room, I have replaced that wall with 2 mannequins and one weapon plaque, I feel it looks nicer, however I can't upload this change because current subscribers may not like it and it may interfere with items people have already placed. If some one is interested, I could send you the file and you can choose which one to use.

@ronr42: the standing shelves with the cases is an attempt to make an area to display helmets, bottles, books, boots, and random items. However, in Skyrim it is much more difficult to manipulate items you place (it was easy in oblivion). There are console commands to help manipulate items that you set down.

@Djoudi: The only way to put items in the cases is to manually drop them and arrange them. If you just drop items in the case, leave, come back, and then arrange them, they will stay. I did not use activators for the cases so that you can put multiple items in the case. As for the item racks, certain special items, such as ebony blade and blades sword, don't properly interact with the racks, this is a problem with the game, nothing I can fix.

Fisrt, i want to say thanks for your mod, i find it great.

I only have two problems with it :

* I can't use any "Display case", i just can open and close them, but i have founction to put weapons in it. I found one way, throw down the weapon, grab it and "gliss" it into the Display Case. But when i go out and come back inside the armory, the weapon is not where i've put it, it moved.

* The second problem is with weapons racks on the wall. With "Aubéclat" (french name), "Phantasm" and the "Blade's sword". When i put thoses 3 swords on it, it far to high, like one meter too high from the rack.

Again, excuse my poor english, and "Merci" for your work.

My area isn't as well lit as the screenshots. The chandelier lighting the stair way down is well lit, but the chandeliers in the main storage area are not putting out the same amount of light. No lighting MODS or the like are installed.

@BIPI; its PERFECT! i'mmmmmm soooo happy. thank you very much. going to buy you a bottle of Crown Royle. just as soon as i figure out how to send it across the internet. the standing shelves with glass doors and cases with tiered shelves was a nice touch. the shear size of the new cases makes them able to hold about anything. this addition makes your proudspire expansion mod the SMITHSONIAN of Skyrim. the absolute best armory/smithy/gallery/museum mod available! no one else has made any mods that remotely compare. i give you a 200 rating for this one. i wish you well with all your future endeavors. i'll check your page every once in a while for a possible link to a future mod. take care.

@Apocalypse: The only known reason for the door to disappear is if you have any other mods that would conflict with the proudspire manor. If you are still having trouble, you can try manually warping to the armory with these commands:
Press tilde " ~ " and type the following commands without quotes, then press enter:
"coc solitudeproudspiremanorarmory"
that will manually warp you to the cell, to exit type:
"coc solitudeproudspiremanor"
that will take you back to the manor.
