Tested this today on Vortex campaign and it still works! It's also save game compatible!

I can't believe there is no mod that deletes the reliability hit you take for declaring PEACE.
It's especially infuriating when it happens when you just subjugate someone to be your vassal, and the game automatically declares peace on them first, and applies the reliability penalty.

If anyone knows of a mod that does that I would be much obliged.

well i already had some diplomacy mods but they should have been compatible, strange

@Valexclones that's very strange, there shouldn't be anything in this mod that would brick a campaign like that. It's just number tweaks to some diplomacy values, the game's pretty robust about changing those mid-campaign - anything that's just changes to existing values is generally safe.

I just tested removing and adding this mod mid-save on a fresh campaign that ran for four turns and one on a campaign from december I didn't think would load at all, no crashes on load or at end-turn after diplo actions, although obviously that's not testing every possible interaction.

i tried loading it in my already started campaign and it crashed, now i cant continue the campaign even without mod, dont try this on an already ongoing campaign!

@DrSmeggulas XXI did you have other mods active?
Valexclones 28 Apr, 2021 @ 1:03am
is this mod compatible with other mods? and sorry if i ask but i am not sure i understand, can i load this mod in an already ongoing campaign without risking breaking the campaign?

Can you do one where backstabbing the Skaven after a peace treaty doesn't make any other faction hate you?

Update please
dooorman 20 Jun, 2019 @ 4:38pm
works for me
Vulcanizor 1 May, 2019 @ 3:37pm
Doesn't work for me at least - update please, mister!
But Chuddha... 20 Apr, 2019 @ 11:41am
Does the mod work on the new Doomsayer update? If not, please, update it!

Hmm, I've been using this mode for quite some time, but I'm not sure if it's still working to be honest. I betrayed a Non Agression Pact some 20 turns ago which put me in a Very Low reliability. However, I still have that same scoring now (without doing additional misdeeds). In my Mod manager I do see the warning icon that the mod might be outdated.

Can confirm this mod still works, and mid-save. Playing as Lothern, had a NaP and MA with Ellyrion, Avelorn declared war on them and pulled me into it and my reliability went to Very Low. Stayed like it for around 10 turns, found this mod and turned it on, my reliability went straight to High. Thank you creator, diplomacy is a pain in the ass when it comes to two allies pointlessly declaring war on one-another just because one is weaker than the other.

Thats not an issue with this mod its a standard vanilla bug. I've had it happen without any mods running. The cause seems to be if you end up having broken 'too many' treaties in a row in a few turns which causes the rating to be stuck at the lowest reputation regardless of how many turns you wait. At least thats how long it lasted for that 170 turn campaign, with the rating first dropping that low after turn 20.

I'm stuck in the worst reputation, without any changes when i change turns. Don"t know if it"s because of this mod.

Does this mod still work?
Firepengu 11 Jun, 2018 @ 5:08pm
@perfect Is this still working alright? If not, I could help to make sure it's still compatible
Firepengu 7 Jun, 2018 @ 1:41pm
Hello - is this still working with the Norsca and Queen/Crone?
ACAB sympathiser  [author] 15 Apr, 2018 @ 4:29pm
I can't doublecheck right now, but I believe that's caused by ignoring the call to arms by one of them, so I can't edit that without also making it penalty-free to ignore any ally's call to arms.
Irish Legion 14 Apr, 2018 @ 8:19am
can you make it so that if two of your allies go to war it doesnt affect your rating cause thats bullshit
MrSoul 10 Feb, 2018 @ 12:07pm
This is a good idea, something up with unreliable rating in base game, especially if you're looking to play with vassal etc options enabled via mod. I like having diplomacy throttled by player actions of course, but think with all the varying degrees, and base racial prejudices in the vannila game CA went way tooooo far here, fuck its a sandbox campaign guys, I dont give a shit if the fluff from table top says never work together, they're going to...because they are now confederated vassals of the great Druchii empire and I say so lol

I'm not sure exactly what the numbers mean, beyond that making them smaller means lower penalties. The value for turns between making a deal and breaking it penalty free is obvious, but no idea aside from that. The ones I tested made it seem like the numbers were turns with penalty, but bigger numbers still led to higher ratings loss so I don't know exactly what the interation is.

I can tell you that only breaking deals before the grace period is over and declaring war on people you have deals with matters, capturing settlements and other stuff generally doesn't. Other factions delcaring war on you shouldn't matter beyond it ally fuckery.

If you want to download DAVE (hover over library in steam, go to tools) you can look at it yourself with about as much of an idea as I have. The tables are cai_diplomacy_complex_treacheries and _simple_treacheries.
One Does Not Simply Roshan 3 Feb, 2018 @ 2:33am
do you happen to have the exact numbers of what vanilla is? Since they don't FUCKING TELL US. I had an ally side with his other ally over me and it absolutely murdered my rating. I'd like to know roughly how long i'm in the shit house and what all effects it?

Example i've just captured 10 settlements AND built the black pyramid and i'm still unreliable.

Do other factions declaring war on me set me evne further back?
Firepengu 6 Dec, 2017 @ 11:19am
My reliability rating finally won’t be tanked to unreliable for 30 turns for one broken NAP/trade deal! Thank you
