It works for everyone else with these requirements, so either Steam downloaded it wrong, you are still missing something.
As for other ideas, I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
eg:
-Mini Black hole (suck enemies in to it and give damage)
-Fireball (when it hits, ignites enemies, just like the flamethrower).
-Freeze (freezes enemies for a couple a seconds and gives damage).
-Incinerate (a single powerfull spell that ignite one enemy and gives big amout of damage).
-Meteor Shower (rain of fire pours down on the enemies),
-Poison (just like cursed, but without explosion).
-Stun (just like your's stun gun).
-Turn to stone (turns a single enemy for a couple of seconds to stone).
-Lightning Bolt (strikes a single enemy)
-Fear (the enemy for a couple of seconds runs away from you).
-Slow (slow down a couple of enemies for a few seconds).
-Vampirism (a single target spell that gives damage and heals you).
Maybe it's too ambitious to do it;) or even impossible but it would be great if at least half of this would be possible to do it:)
Curse+charm+cannon or rocket launcher is a good combo in some situations.
For the improvement i would leave is as it is... combined it to one would make it a bit Overpowered.
BUT!...
If you are interested...
Your staff give me some ideas...
Serious Sam world is somehow related with "magic" (Mordekai, Kleers, harpy spells etc....).
It would by not a stupid idea to add a Spellbook as a weapons.
Let's called it "mordekai spellbook".
Lore: When mordeckai died he was buried with his spellbook, but when resurrected by mental he forgot to receive it back, and now you found it ble ble ble...
Regarding the "usability" of the weapon - frankly, I never really viewed this mod as an actual "balanced" weapon - it was more like an experiment for me, to make the functionality work. So no deep "philosophy" here. If you have ideas for improvement, feel free to suggest them :)
Hm, now that I think of it... How about instead of having two curses and switch between them, just make one curse which has effects of both? Attracts enemies and explodes on death.
Maybe add/change one mode and make it more pracitcal.. Let's say the secondary fire, creates a small black hole that suck enemies in to it and does damage. Sounds more practical for me....
Also...
Like @Laszlo (λ) notice, this weapon bugs/brakes to often. With X save/load games this weapon refuse to work and the only way to fix it is to repeat the level:( Notice also that picking up ammo pack when this weapons has full ammo also breaks it:(
For me there are two kind's of weapons in Serious Sam.
The straight foward weapons with big firepower, not much of philosophy here, just shot to kill.
The crownd control weapons, not that powerfull, but keeps enemies at bay.
The primary fire takes way to long to kill. Doging 100 kleers and wait for the curse to kill, takes way much time, before the curse will work, my health bar will be -50% of its base, so not very practical.
The secondary fire, seems good BUT only for the big ones, throwing a charm on a beheaded soldier or kleer is useless, it will die before you manage to curse it with primary fire, also to "charm" radius is way to small, try this to keep enemies away from me when they swarm me. But no good, only a couple of enemies will catch the bait, the rest will still be chasing me.
Second curse added! Switch between Bleed and Attract curses by pressing RMB (Alternative Fire).
New Attract curse causes all enemies in a certain range attack the cursed enemy instead of players. Provides pretty strong crowd control, and can be used to efficiently take out big monsters using hordes of smaller ones.
Curses can be combined.
Also fixed the bug where you could target an enemy through walls and other obstacles.
Check out the throwback of the aforementioned games, Amid Evil.
