hello, sorry to bother again, I found that this mod isn't compatible with better imperial chinese government mod for some reason. when I activate both, better imperial chinese government doesn't work, it shows up as active but has no in-game effects. not necessarily a complaint, just thought I should mention it

gof The AI should do yeah, but note that anything beyond the 1066 start date might not work properly because it won't be optimised for such things

wonderful mod, I'd like to ask something though. in the 1220 start, does genghiz khan try to conquer the paces needed to divide his empire or does he just conquer randomly? in other words does the ai try to divide the mongol empire?

Anyone know how I can mod in event troops for Rum? When rum spawns, sometimes they start with no event troops and just get murdered by Georgia and the Byzantines, or sometimes they spawn with like 10,000 and invade Georgia, win but lose all their event troops, then get killed by the byzantines.

I’d like to give them like 40,000 so they can actually conquer Anatolia! If anyone has any idea how to add this in the event files please help me out!

I took a peak at the files but couldn’t figure out how to do it, I saw that something said “spawn units min 500 max 10000” and I didn’t know what that means by I tried raising the numbers and it didn’t do it anything. Like I said, sometimes there aren’t any event troops and sometimes there are about 10k, and either way it results in a pathetic rum who gets bodies by Byzantium

Rollo's character id will have to be something to find out, but if it's the 867 start date, his character id should be "242"

nicholai.ebanks How long ago did you make him a Jarl? The timer for Rollo is several years to start his conquest, as long as he's not a King or Emperor, Blinded, a Eunuch or Infirm

thank you for the answer. ^^ and please very much for the translation. It's really a miracle that Ck2 despite Ck3 is still supplied with mod support. Apart from that Steam has somehow removed the terms at Ck2 example Maps, Fixes, Graphic etc. the tags are not visible to me on steam under Steam workschop Ck2

Wotan von Edelsburg Thank you for the German translation! I'll put it in and upload it as soon as I can.

The start date even for most vanilla events and decisions is a little weird beyond 1066, but it should work depending on when it starts. I can't promise anything though, but if there is a hole somewhere in the coding so it would happen in later start dates, I'll correct it in the next patch

I still have a question. is this compatible with the start data? Example, the start date for the third crusade, where the Rum Sultanate is already in the Byzantine Empire, triggers there the event for the Ottomans still or is it there by already broken?

If I play with the earliest start date, does that trigger all historical events as usual and depending on how the AI behaves?

Riekopo That's a game rule I made about them appearing through the events I made. They are already in-game, but there are no events attached to them either in vanilla

Aren't Rurik and Rollo already in the game? They are mentioned in the game rule settings under Norse Invaders.

Well, I have just tested it with no mods and come to find out that there was no conflict with the issue of forming the HRE in the 769 and 867 starts. Excellent work with the mod!! :steamthumbsup:

Kaiser You must be thinking of something else perhaps? I don't remember preventing it, and I never actually play the 867 start anyway myself so I probably wouldn't know if it was unintentionally the case lol

Didn't this mod prevent the HRE from forming at the 867 start? I was just looking at the patch notes and it doesn't mention it.

That's true I had to go through and exterminate the papacy and with their holding they accumulated throughout the in-game years, it made it quite tedious as well with the Byzantines. But good job with the mod I really like it so far! :steamthumbsup:

Ah sorry, Ooiue I found out the problem I thought it meant just the empire of Italia as it stands in it's de jure titles. though after going through the events by the cheat menu it's because I was missing the Kingdom of Carinthia. Again sorry about that.

Morbidion According to my test, it does work, but I missed a few independent baronies so it looked like it didn't, so it's a bit of a hassle. The same might be for you, Venice, Malta, any of the islands, any one of the baronies not controlled by you would stop it. I'm changing it now so it's not so much of a hassle

Ah yeah the Western Roman Empire, sorry I got thinking of other stuff when I wrote that. Though Malta is a part of it with the Kingdom of Sicily I do have control of that as well.

Is anyone else having a problem forming the Eastern Roman Empire? I control the whole of Italia, titles and all and no other country has a city, barony etc within it, the HRE does exist and I thought that might have been a problem but it wasn't them. the condition to form the empire ERE says I do not fully control Italia, though I know I do. I have gone through all of the counties, duchies, and kingdoms to ensure they all belonged to the empire of Italia title.

darkemperor From what I can see, there seems to be quite a bit of crossover in terms of files in some key places so I'm afraid it won't be possible on this version
