it is good to see your enjoying my maps
In the last chamber i am not sure of what i did,
but finaly had the ball to open the door.

I just altered conections, so if you do or don't bring the sphere through the laser fields,
to the 1st area, you won't get trapped.

to cut down on the noise, I have deleted another cube dropper.
& at the same time a turret & stairs.
also the 2nd button at the top of the stairs indirectly activates a added light bridge,
to stop the cubes respawning. (I want to keep the 1st light bridge flickering)
& I don't want the player to have to go all the way down the stairs for a sphere.
which is 2 reasons I did not allow deployment of the light bridge earlier.
I added a single light strip in the 1st area of the laser room,
to guide the player there 1st.
& 2 light strips on the other side of the laser fields.
to hopefully let them know that is the last area in this room.
I also moved the exit area & part of the wall back & added some glass.
light bridge prevents extending glass from the entrance.

I would reconfigure your elements, project some ledge space by the door and put some glass around it so the player can walk in and see the area while being protected then consider his/her move to try and make it to the button.
As it is now you'll likely be making a lot of players angry from the start.

I do warn the players, in the description, by saying:
"don't let the enterance door close,
untill you know your 1st move,
as the turrets don't take prisoners."
recently updated & put the button the spher goes on a tile lower & a light bridge over it.
& added the pedestal button, to stop someone throwing the sphere at the button
& getting trapped that way.
will look into your suggestion to make more clear.
& to avoid being trapped.
up to item limit, so may take some doing.
but you are right, so will do something.
you used the right solution to get over there.
the sphere can either funel with you, or easier is to throw or funel to light bridge 1st.
There are several good puzzels in this one, but the noise, the frequent backtracking and redoing of menial tasks, and the possibility of getting stuck with no recourse ruins everything. Thumbs down.
The laser field room is visually chaotic and hard to know what to focus on. There's two switches, two tractors, 3 parts to the laser field. This part could use some reworking, and simplfiying or better directing of the player. I used the tractor to get around the lasers to the switch. I didn't bring a ball with me thinking the dropper would activate with the switch. I was wrong and got stuck there. You should add a portable surface facing the entrance below the light bridge area. This would allow them to portal back and grab the ball while maintaining the need to solve the step with the tractor.
I'll try and finish it some other time. Good luck with it.
Any map that tries to kill the player as soon as they enter sours me from the start so I'd suggest rethinking what you really want the player to feel as soon as they enter.
The balls hitting the turrets though is cool and that should be the player's first wow moment -the moment they decide they want to get through the map. I would try to find a way to have that just without the player dying part.
All the first steps i'm fine with. They're all pretty solid and liked playing through them.

apart from the sound, 2 of your main problems were:
throwing or funeling the sphere to the button,
that reverses the funel polarity.
this got you into a trap & made things a lot more difficult.
you should be by the button & place it there. (not your fault)
the 2nd problem was you did think that you had to go back up the stairs,
when you had finnished that part.
I have updated this map.
hopefully these problems are now solved.
I also deleted 1 sphere dropper, stairs & turret.
slightly less noisey, not much though.

In the room with the laser fields there is a problem. Either getting trapped or being put in an awkward position. If it wasn't for the constant noise I would have enjoyed it. I guess I'm too sensitive in that way.

glad you appreciated the puzzle, to get the sphere, that is protected by 2 laser fields.
the light bridge does occasionaly drop the player.
if the spheres are to close together, breaking the laser.
hoping helps reduce the chances of this happening.
& most of the time, their is was problem while testing.
though I put it constantly on, when the sphere goes into the sphere button.
the funel dropping you in the room with the laser fields, is a bug.
I deleted the funel & other items, conected to it.
then re-added the funel & switches.
but the bug persists.
so I left it in as an extra problem to solve.
it drops you just before you reach the wall.
if you fire the portal, the funel comes out of, at the floor, just before or as this happens.
you will be fine.

this map was started about 6 of my published maps ago.
was over item limit & had to delete gate systems etc.
then had to try to get to work again.
for a while I thought about deleting the whole map.
but decided to leave it, untill I forget it.
then take a fresh look.
this worked.
some maps I play & have trouble with, I take this aproach.
or try to think about it, as I drift off to sleep.
then play again next day.
this has helped me solve many maps, I have been stuck on.
have subscribed to all 3.

you were doing it differently than intended.
but I will leave it as a choice.
you can go to the sphere button with the blue funel.
then put the sphere on the button.
you can take the sphere with you, in the funel.
glad you enjoyed it.
the sphere takes so long to reach exit,
because the panel destroys it & then it respawns & the 2 funels move it from dropper.
but player has time to worry, he, he.
when they self destruct, their is another near by.
your mission is to get 1 sphere, only 1, to the shere button in the entrance / exit chamber.
but use every button on your quest.
the sphere desintigrating & being replaced, is so if you acidentaly destroy it.
you don't have so far to go back for 1.
& at 1st the player may think sh*t.
their is another the other side of the 2 laser fields, above the piston.
the puzzle is how to get it.
the knowledge is already in your brain.
