Unfortunately at this time I will not be updating this mod. I do not have enough space for Visual Studio on my system drive and the IDE I was using was forcefully depreciated and can not build the project. This is a shame considering I just needed to update references I could count on a single hand.

Any chance at getting the source DLL? dnSpy giving me trouble with
`bool flag2 = t.def.IsWithinCategory(ThingCategoryDefOf.Weapons)`
I'm trying to replace entire block with `return true` and remove conditional so that it lets me designate ANYTHING to delete (I want cheats - I'm already using infinite all materials cheat - So no worries - no need to tell me it's game breaking :steamhappy: )

My apologies, but I have no clue why this isn't working.

If you look in my mod folder, you'll notice that the recipe for Cremating an item and Smelting an item are nearly identical. But Cremating works and Smelting doesn't.

I have no clue. Help.

To bad this mod doesn't work! Made the bill for Smelt Designated Items, then used orders and smelt, nothing happens. This function should be part of vanilla, so i hope you get it working.

LOVE the idea of this mod. I cannot get it to work though. I have the bill set up and the items designated however i cannot get the worker to work at the table. Nothing comes up when right clicking on the table with a colonist selected and they do no automatically go do the job. No errors come up in log.

Completely fair reasons, I'm just fed up with it and want a mod to let me burn things, want to focus on basebuilding and less on raids being insanely tough because no trader wants to buy all my stockpiled trash.

I didn't want to fully allow burning of all materials because

A) I wanted to be able to "salvage" apparel but still deciding on how to go about that
B) I wanted there to be a drawback for burning things, like who knows, excessive filth or something
C) Trash management is kind of a part of RimWorld to me so I wouldn't want to negate it completely.

Woah, a mod that I've been waiting for! Love it so far, are you planning on expanding on what things can be trashed? Apparel and weapons are great so far, but usually it's normal items that I've got way too much of, that damn elephant leather.

I resolved all the .xml errors. DLL had some references to sound defs that changed, fixed those as well.

Now I'm having trouble actually getting it to function though. No errors. Pawns just smelt literally everything now. :steamsad:

From my testing so far its only .xml errors, you might not even need to update the .dll

I really enjoy this mod, my only suggestion would be to have the button appear when clicking on smeltable weapons instead of it just being an order.

I'll look into scrapping apparel. If it's reasonably doable, It will be released as another mod as it won't be a vanilla feature. I do not know what weird side effects will come of it as a lot of it is hard coded that I'll be finagling my work into.

@Meat Man (Alfons) Seconded. This is incredibly important with, say, Infused, so I can keep my Invulnerable-tagged armor vest while scrapping all the damaged and/or less effective ones.

This is a good mod, a simple yet neccessary use.

But could you add the same for those mods that allow salvaging of specific clothing? If you want to specifically salvage this specific piece of clothing that is made out of say- Synthread or Hyperweave.
